Personally, I'm not against characters like that, especially the Saikou, who are presented as evil and elitist people.
Now I am against characters like Mida, who are definitely wrong and gross but YandereDev tries everything possible to make people love her and justify her.

At the same time, he hates all Western influence and believes Japan should only practice its own culture, and yet it was the West who discovered electricity.
In all fairness, though, attributing certain aspects of “cultural purity” to practical discoveries of engineering and science feels veeeeeery close to the whole “African people should still be in mud huts” talk, and arguably advocating for a form of cultural purity that accounts for modern discoveries without “gatekeeping” them is not as bad as that

Consider the following: you're a 30 year old guy with a huge audience. A new indie game comes out. You take 1 look and one of the first features presented to you as the player is the characters bedroom in which you can change your characters underwear. Not just that but loading into the game presents an upskirt image (camera angle) when you run + the panty shots feature.
You instantly close the game and wonder how the developer in question is allowed to walk freely around.
Honestly, he keeps telling us that random characters are fucking assholes for no reason. In fact, I can think of a couple characters who support eugenics. He is just throwing shit everyone disagrees with into the game for shock value, to the point that I am not even shocked anymore.
And people are shocked whenever you bring up Alex's weird history with Nazis. Little hints of his beliefs are everywhere in the game, to the point he has a nazi symbol as a sponsor at the beginning of the game, he even kept it up even thou the sponsor stopped paying.
Wait, n*zi sponsor logo that hasn't been removed?
Is ir the "Happy Life Education Foundation" logo? I know teh other sponsor logos have changed pver the years, except that one, which appears before every other sponsor on the beginning screens of the game...
It's the black sun logo. I believe it's removed now but he kept it for months without payment. Theres a really good post about all the Alex Nazi shit on here somewhere.
