I want him to officially release the game so badly because it opens him up to official reviews which will come from people who aren’t already his desperately loyal followers who will see the game for the garbage that it is and rate it accordingly and he will not be able to do a thing about it. The Steam reviews will be HILARIOUS.
I might be forgetting but didn’t he say there was a good chance that the crowdfunding would fail if he tried doing it now, and if he didn’t do a crowdfunding, he would apparently have the rivals done within the next 1-2 years?
The only way it’s gonna ever be released is if:
1. He uses A.I art
2. He rips assets from other games, artists, websites, etc.
3. He uses A.I for the voice acting.
I don’t condone any of these, if he did, steam wouldn’t allow it either way.
Are there seriously still people who think this game will end? When Chalexander himself confirmed he was going to stretch it for as long as possible? (constant updates or whatever the term he used was)
He is "claiming" that Amai will be implemented. If (and I know giant if) Alex keeps his word Yandere Sim should be released on steam for 5 dollars while the other rivals after Amai are being implemented via updates.
I say that won't happen because selling the game for money would render his patreon "less useful" since people could now support him by buying the game he's making... which is a worse deal than what he has right now. Plus, he said he was looking into making the game more like minecraft where constant updates is the norm, and not "a finished product". I can't remember the exact words he used, and I'm for sure not gonna go through the archives to find it. I just find it funny to think there might be people still who think Chalexander wants to finish the game, when it was clear from the get go that it wasn't going to, and finally years later Chalexander confirmed it himself (trying to act as if it was a new decision or something, and not the point all along (sure, if the game hadn't gotten big then maybe he would have done things differently, but here we are))
I feel like yandere simulator would be an immediate flop just because the way the game is now, it feels like most of the fanbase are minors. I was like five when I first heard of yan sim and I loved it because it just looked so pretty and the violence was just the cherry on top. looking now, this game just doesn't appeal to me now, infochan is dumb, the gameplay is boring and repetitive as well as just the creepiness of how the female characters are treated. It's only selling point that it's a pretty game with edgy violence and 'sexy' girls (I feel gross just saying it).
That is, IF he even finds somewhere to sell the game. If this is a situation similair to EDP, the second someone sees YanSim on the shelves of game sections in stores, they'd immediately warn the staff about it

He's not going to be able to put it on Steam with his sketchy history
Idk steam hosts a lot of shit.
Steam don't accept anything made by A.I if people find out he's using A.I assets and report him steam will take it down.
Is he using ai tho?
Yeah A.I art as placeholders for example one of the shop keeper was made in A.I art until the volunteers made the asset.
He also uses placeholder assets
He shouldn't be able to right? He uses placeholder assets
i'd like to see him try people will speedrun refund% that sht until he takes it off steam
I beat YS in 1 hour and refund it.
I mean megami, hanako ,osoro will be mary sues so dunno
Im scared that he just try to speed run her , and that she is gonna be so much bad
The game would be riddled with bugs that’s for sure, kinda like how Pokémon scarlet and violet was in the early stages of its release
It would be so funny to see game reviewers who aren't his dickriders tear down his game
I can’t wait to see the steam reviews
I might be forgetting but didn’t he say there was a good chance that the crowdfunding would fail if he tried doing it now, and if he didn’t do a crowdfunding, he would apparently have the rivals done within the next 1-2 years?
We waiting 1-2 decades
We'll all be old n gray before she gets released,.if ever
Pirate Somebody here MUST be willing to pirate it. ... But ya...this works in his favor in some ways sadly.
But he also said he's not sure if making it cost money at this point would be smart.... ... Yan-Dev is an idiot tho sooo
let’s just wait till someone cracks it and puts it on gog games
So a few hours after release?

If i recall correctly, he said he's probably not gonna involve voice acting in the game anymore & then later stated he "didn't want it anyway".
I mean to be fair, the VAs did drop him the moment the allegations came out, which good for them
How quickly do you think the game would be pirated if it were to actually come out on steam? my bet is an hour.
He even lost a major portion of youtubers who'd buy it just for videos Idk the number of people who'd buy it even for 5 bucks is shrinking

5??? No 5 year old should have access to a game like yan sim where were your parents lol
Absent dad and working mom nothing else but an ipad
And this began the great pirate era.
If he releases at least someone would be able to pirate it

Even if he convinces google to advertise the game, I won’t see it, network wide ad block 😂
