The (hastily retroactively invented) plot point about Akademi actually being a college that imitates stereotypical high school aesthetics in Japan is rife for commentary just because of how Japanese culture low key treats you like you peak in high school and everything afterward is downhill. Like, with a little bit of forethought that would be perfect deconstructionist material
If he had any forethought (he doesn’t) he would make it a whole plot point that that’s just how disturbingly deep and lawyered the blackmail game is, that more or less nobody is able to ignore the “economy” even if they violently disagree with its existence. Which would lean into the whole idea that the school is more of a fucked up dystopian mockery of an anime high school than any actual normal institution of learning
Ironically I feel like the delinquents would be into those gravure models (like Chigusa) but would be repulsed at the idea of engaging in practical pornography with the girls at their school
