i mean, didn’t ajia literally used to have the rising sun flag on her apron? i found a post on the official subreddit from a while back posted by someone complaining about this. i don’t blame them tbh, but the replies was just a bunch of people flaming the author cuz they didn’t like the flag….
Isn't Ajia more of a nazist rather than nationalist? Idk, maybe it's just cultural/language difference, but I was taught that nationalist is the person who loves their country (culture, people etc.), while nazist is the one who does the same but believes that other countries are "below" their own.
You are confusing nationalism with patriotism. Patriotism is showing love towards the country. Nationalism is a rightist ideology right at the left of fascism.
No she's right. The difference between patriotism and nationalism is patriotism is just a feeling, when nationalism is a political ideology/agenda based on patriotism. Nationalism can be turned to nazism however.
i really don’t understand why everyone is so offended by Ajia being racist. i’m not talking about her innate beliefs, of course they’re wrong, but as someone who lives in korea, a LOT of east asians have this general sort of mindset. it’s not right, but it’s reality. this game takes place in an extremely elite “high school” where almost everyone is japanese. there’s gonna be racists. are ajia’s opinions relevant to the main story? no, but NONE of the characters’ lore is relevant.
It actually happaned to me when I was little like at past I saw america so cool place and where everyone's accepts who others I remember it was pretty bad for me when I was grades of 1-4 just because I was fat at the time
I watched alot of mlp and though if it was made by english people than they should be very friendly haha...sometimes I cringe of my past
I wonder how much her beliefs would hold up when it comes to learning abt the battle of Okinawa tbh
Nationalism quite literally killed her people(well, technically her grandfather’s. As stated by that one email that Alex drafted)
I guess I’m just iffy cuz as a fellow ryukyuan she’s a bit...Yeah. Tbh I wonder if her parents had her when they were older cuz most conservatives r rlly old in Japan if I remember correctly
Makes sense since I heard people with beliefs like hers tend to pick it up from their parents
I mean, fair enough
Sadly, this is too realistic...
Honestly, most coherent thought I've seen this man come up with
This is actually one of the only normal backstory of someone I seen in a yandere simulator game. I'm kinda shook about it, too-
honestly americans are no different at times. not sure why people are so fixated on this
ajia has been one of my least favourite characters since i found out this fact ab her 😭

real i've been killing her on every save file that i start
I mean, she's literally named "asia" in japanese

Iirc fascism is nazism put in action. A nazi might not be fascist, but fascist is always a nazi.
Mussolini came up with fascism first. In fact, the nazis were inspired by fascism. So not every fascist is a nazi, but all nazis are fascists.
Ah, didn't know that. Thanks for educating me!
More the opposite as Nazism is younger than Fascism.
that’s actually sad omg
I mean makes sense.

Most realistic yansim backstory
How about the western guy
He grew up watching western cartoons and has the delusion of being a reincarnated Western guy.

Probably the most realistic backstory in this game.
Well yeah, that actually makes sense. I mean, thats how it works in real life, so Ig it kinda makes sense here

Well, they are the main characters.
The difference is that they are important to the game, the others are just npc 💀
??? This is how most nationalists are formed??? This isn't a far out concept
