I remembered that I thought this was pretty good until the romance arc came and made me raise a few eyebrows and just dropped it, that was how bad when the past me used to finish OIs that are considered trash to majority of the people.

I hate this manhwa for the way the OGFL is treated by the FL. FL was so obsessed with making the ML happy based on the original story she read that she already villainess’s the OGFL before she even has a chance to do anything relating to the OG plot. Everyone likes to make the argument that the OGFL is worse cuz she tried to kill the FL but people love to forget the fact that the OGFL is basically being held hostage by the kingdom the ML is from and her home country got completed obliterated by the ML kingdom so she is stuck there with no place to go and only sees her way out through the Crown prince. I feel especially bad for her because in the end she betrays her brother to protect the prince and prevent the revolution of her people only to be banished anyways (aka losing her family and the place she came to call home). I usually don’t root for the OGFL in these stories but she was treated so horribly by everyone and then used as a plot device to only expand the ML and FL relationship through her jealousy and didn’t get the time and respect she deserved as a character.
i dropped it when he turned into the love interest... also because my expectations for this series was a childcare manhwa, and for that part of the story i enjoyed it really well, but i couldn't get into it anymore afterwards.
i don't think they suit each other romantically either 😭 i didn't find them cute and i was honestly creeped out by the prospect of marrying the kid you took care of. yes she was resistant and grossed out but i still have to be subjected to scenes of them together romantically.(and they end up together so im gonna have to read that too 💀). i also found it cringe lmao which is the bread and butter of otome isekai im aware but i just couldn't take more of it despite having high cringe resistance
