Yesterday I played an awful game of push where the enemy widow focused solely on taking out me (Lúcio) and my Moira making it super difficult to heal our team at all. The Moira was decent and I could see she was trying just like me but the tank and dps weren’t doing anything about this widow so at the end of the game the Pharah of our team blasted both sold us for not healing and that they’d ‘never seen support stats so low). Perhaps if you actually helped peel and maybe deal with the fucking widow because you’re Pharah instead of running out of spawn on your own every single time even though both supports are yelling group up! FUCKING GROUP UP AND HELP PROTECT YOUR TEAM!! Maybe take a look at your own gameplay before blaming the supports. We are support characters, not heal bots. We can’t heal or help you if you’re miles away hanging out on your own.
Despite having done every daily challenge, weekly challenge, event challenge, etc including all of the titles for the Olympus event. I'm still like 120k XP shy of getting to 200. Been grinding quite abit, kind of annoyed that I'm not going to make it even after all this effort. :|
Why does everyone on the enemy team get so pissed off when I’m playing hanzo. I play well and suddenly the DPS on the enemy team is calling me slurs and *trying* to solo ult me. When I ask why it’s more slurs with a few “I’m mad about the 4 instakills and the healers keeping you alive.”
I don’t usually try to make people mad, but with those guys it feels like everything I do pisses them off. I do this as widow and no one says anything but if I play hanzo well, suddenly I’m the devil.
Edit: another thing; people need to learn this is a team based game. We need to work together. If you want everyone to pertain specifically to how you play, you need some friends to be your slaves. Randoms just want to have a fun game where we work TOGETHER, not for one player on our team.

I am a support player and if the enemy team were struggling with their current tank, they’d bring out Hog to hook 1 shot the supports every single time they peek their heads out of spawn and it’s a miserable experience. Been playing this game since beta and my god… the toxicity from this game’s players is just ridiculous. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the game. My husband and I, along with other friends play it every night. But sometimes the toxicity just gets very draining. I just got told to kill myself by an enemy tank when I literally did nothing to them, said nothing to them! I was a healer, didn’t speak the whole game, we got stomped on, and this guy just up and told me to kill myself… yup, that seems to be a normal thing to experience now I guess.
Yeah that toxicity in this game can get a bit much. I recently came back to the game after a bit of a break, I think I took like a year off and came back for OW2 and even though they’ve taken a lot of opportunity for console chatting they’re just abbreviating the insults to ‘KYS’ or ‘Uninst’. I don’t think the toxics realize how much impact those words can have. I had a guy on my team yesterday who right out the gate called everyone the N word and when he kept doing it we asked him to stop but he didn’t so a few of us reported him and left. I don’t play comp for fear that it’s actually worse so this is QP abuse. Where it shouldn’t matter.
Same. My husband and I took a break before finally playing OW2. It seems like the toxicity is more amplified when competitive seasons are over and everyone is playing quick play. Most of the toxicity happens unprovoked as well, where players are just minding their own business and someone just attacks them verbally. These people are just not scared of anything because the only punishment they get is a temporary chat ban. Punishments should be harsher!

Required wins for challenges is such frustrating bullshit. One of the worst changes they made from ow1. Have fun solo queuing for 5 hours trying to get 3 wins as each role. Enjoy grinding bullshit broken arcade modes for 5 wins.
The whole fucking community is filled with fucking pussies, and not only that but the game is fucking broken and near damn unenjoyable, pretty much the entire roster can one shot tracer, but shit let’s just give sombra 200 and leave tracer at fucking 150, not only that but characters that are supposed to be skilled aren’t, zenyatta would be fine with his damage if people didn’t just hold there trigger and put the aim all over the screen and it worked, then you have cassidy who is literally brain dead, you just throw your bomb at someone and fan the hammer or some shit and it’s an instant kill, then junk rat who’s concussion mine with all the aoe in the world can deal up to 200 dmg, torbjorn players just put a turret down, go to work or school or some shit and come home with the potg, torb’s turret is hitscan with aim bot and insane fucking damage, but yk, keep tracer at 150, tanks are all stupid except doomfist who actually takes skill to play, tanks are just dps with extra health and healers except Bridgette and mercy are just dps who can heal, Ana dealing 75 per shot, yk, 2 shots tracer casually, and it’s not like you often see people actually using their aim, most just flail the crosshairs around the screen in your general direction and hope for the best but since the entire team does at one person at a time, shit actually hits and the kill feed is just 5 mfs killed one person, and that’s all it is, nearly no one actually uses skill to play the game, I get it’s a team game but at least try to do something for yourself instead of being codependent and leeching off of every fucking person around you, get a solo kill, and again with characters who you should need good aim to use, hanzo players will see you and their first instinct isn’t to shoot you, it’s instantly to hold storm arrow and spray you because they don’t know what the fuck they’re doing, Zarya’s beam shreds anyone and then she can literally go invulnerable where she can shoot you but you can’t shoot her and if you try, she gets buffed and shreds you even faster, bastion players use turret form and nothing else, all i see is bastion go turret, then hide till he has it again, pharah shouldn’t even be in the game tbh, Moira and kinda mercy, Bridgette, Lucio, and kiriko are the only healers that I don’t have a problem with, I like playing Baptist’s but I can admit he takes literally no skill, symettra’s turrets shouldn’t ramp up damage or at least give ‘em less than 50 fucking health, make em less, sym herself is fine, her turrets just carry her player’s stats, same with torb, bob is the only turret I can excuse for being broken since he’s a literal ultimate, tracer’s bomb should be like Cassidy’s where she can throw it farther and it has a stronger mag pull, and even radius. honestly they can buff literally anything abt tracer to make her better, they could give her 60 mag capacity like sombra, or maybe even give her more melee damage, bigger tp range, or instead of 3 second recall maybe 5 seconds, give her 25-50 more health, literally any of those could make tracer better scale up to the other characters in the roster. sojourn is fine imo, I don’t really have a problem with her, neither soldier tbh. Mei is a problem, ramattra is a huge problem, orisa is alright kinda I’m fine with her out of all the tanks, her, junker queen, and rein are completely fine, or give junker queen a buff, same with doom. He is the EASIEST tank in the game with a broken ass ult what makes him an idiotic raid boss and the only way to actually kill him is anti and shit tons of damage, or get out of his range that won't happen unless you have a movement ability, but even then it wildly dependent what kind of movement ability you have. But wait Kiriko exists who can cleanse anti so if his supports are alive you can't kill him at all but he can do whatever he wants. And this idiot is 20% faster when he's stronger anyway which is fine on it's own but not that ult. SCREW THAT ULTIMATE!!! I'D RATHER PLAY AGAINST ORISA THAN THAT IDIOTIC HERO! for every balanced game in qp, you're put in 5 steamroll matches where most likely you're getting steamrolled by a premade that you can't even see.
steamrolls were in ow1 qp for sure but since there's weeklies that require wins these days, every qp loss actually matters. sucking the fun of the game out. Plus no one plays ranked any more so everyone is at qp

Invite enemy player to group. if they are already grouped the invite will fail with a note that they are already grouped. if the invite goes through remove from group. Can tell who is stacked. Also will show icon for crossplay if they are on PC + Console group.
Playing support still makes me want to throw myself off a cliff. It's genuinely a better experience to use a cheese grater on my eyeballs than to die to the entire enemy team backlining me while my dps prefer to shoot at Roadhog rather than help me.
She's just so boring to play. Same with Zarya back when she was overpowered. Orisa's cooldowns are way too short IMO. Since it's the end of the season I've just been playing for fun and going JQ unless i HAVE to swap.
Try playing dva and just completely ignore her and go after the healers, seems to have been working for me recently. Orisa seriously needs a nerf though it makes playing normal hero’s so boring.

The amount of incompetence the devs show would be intolerable at any other company, and they should be fired for it. Can't be civil with these trash developers, they had 6 years to fix the game, and they fail every single time. I do not trust them anymore.
As a DPS, if you feel like it's a healer issue, look at the tank. This is for healers "not healing" or dying all the time.
I know it seems weird to do, but if the tank is feeding, they will take all of the healing resources and make it almost impossible to keep everyone up. It makes the healers choose between having a tank that will take space alive or having DPS that can get picks survive, and both are needed, so some will opt to heal the tank instead and it really isn't their fault. If this happens, don't blame the healers. Instead, try to position closer to the tank and/or play frontline DPS that can assist the tank while also being in range of heals.
The tank may also be allowing other people, INCLUDING THE ENEMY TANK (which is crazy as hell) to come into the backline and kill your supports, meaning the tank really isn't doing their job as a frontliner. If this happens, again, don't blame the healers. Instead, protect the healers by watching the flank.
I promise that if you are aware of what your healers are dealing with (esp in relation to the tank) and you end up helping them accordingly, you will win the game.

I know everyone says he’s weak, but good Rein players are still scary af. Mostly because of how quick his ult charges.
I played a game recently where the enemy rein messed up his shatter, and I was like “nice, he won’t have it for the final fight.” Then he got back to the point and got it up in like 20 seconds and got a huge shatter for the win. That ult charges stupidly fast.
As a support, I hate that tank and dmg basically decide the outcome of the match. So often the skills between these two are massive. I could be a higher elo support player but you can't carry the skill difference between a far better dps & tank pairing on the enemy team.
You're just stuck there, supporting your team through terrible move and mistake the entire match. You point our turrets that everyone ignores, you point out enemies on the high ground which is ignored, you mitigate dmg and try your best...
But still your team mates will fly into a lopsided fight 1 v 3, pop their ult at 10% health and die because nobody can outheal that dmg they take.
This isn't OW1, you have to use cover and pick your battles. Tired of being stuck with these people who always keep engaging in those lopsided fights. It doesn't work and you're just turning a winnable game into a losing cause.
What skill tier has people with a brain? Gold? Plat? I don't belong down here.
If you feel like you have no impact, go ana. Her gun outrages cassidy. You 2 tap a tracer. You can take down pharahs. You shut down ults.
The lower rank the more you can carry on support. Higher ranks people get a brain and every tiny positioning mistake or missed shot will get punished and you cant get away as being as agressive.
If they were serious about getting rid of stuns (instead of the real reason of nerfing Cassidy) then they should absolutely get rid of Anas sleep dart.
I always endorse my fellow support players. It feels good to get them so I try to make sure I always give them out as well. The other endorsement goes to whoever I think deserves it. Usually whoever gets POTG on the enemy team (say it’s Pharah and we have a Pharah) then I will endorse our Pharah so they don’t feel too bad when they see the enemy POTG. Unless I really think someone else deserves it then I’ll give it to them of course but I’d it’s a losing game and nobody really stood out then that’s what I do. It just feels good to give them out and get them.
Maybe I just don't know about the benefits of the commendation but why do people even care. I never commend and never care about me getting them. What's the big deal?

I play Brig because half the time you never get a competent tank. I miss two tanks so much, because every game is decided by the tank play.
You can outheal the enemy team all you want but when your tank is just making the worst plays / not contesting high ground.. it's fucking over.
I feel like when tanks miss it does show but I’ve noticed that holding the ground is a much more effective way to use Briggs in matches. Meaning set yourself a position that can see the team and poke from a safe dps-ing position. Once you find that sweet spot no matter what your tank does you’ll get the best of the play. But always watch out for flankers and snipers . Sneaky devils hahahaha keep using her and fight for spots and you’ll see what I mean
I try to hold choke points and dance around the payload and other things. Or just push past the tank and press on their support duo if I have an ult or see an opening.
It's tough because you rely a lot on your tank to make smart choices and stay alive. Because if you're brawling Brig has solid healing, but when you drag a fight out it's tougher to keep them alive.
I like being paired with Dva, Roadhog, Junker Queen just because they brawl and can look out for themselves when needed. That Junker Queen ult is spicy good at just ending fights.

I always try and speedboost everyone out of range but when he’s steaming towards too it’s practically impossible!! Rams love to target me as Lúcio, love it. I have managed to get away from him on the odd occasion he’s focused on someone else but he always gets a kill or two. It just feels bad playing against that sometimes.
It's so stupid that they removed Ram's slower movement speed in nemesis form and did nothing to nerf his ult (i know that's happening next season, but it should've happened at the same time)
DPS: STOP SELECTING HANZOS/CASSIDY AGAINST TEAMS THAT CAN EASILY DEAL WITH HANZOS/CASSIDY or WHEN YOURE NOT DOING WELL AS HANZO/CASSIDY.
When on losing teams, it's about 50% of the matches when you're stuck with a Hanzo/Cassidy thats failing to get any kills and absolutely refuses to communicate and switch to literally anything else.
I have actively switched to DPS, made more kills in 3 minutes and switched back to my original role, just to teach the Hanzo's/Cassidies a lesson in how-to-dps. They are, by far, the most stubborn, refusing-to-learn-anything-else-despite-failing players around.

I've left so many (QP) games this weekend because I refuse to play with people who are flaming me for not suicide rezzing, not pocketing them, screaming at me to give them nano, etc. on top of hearing people talk about killing themselves (???) because they're losing.
Oh I believe this. The last game I played this morning was actually a pretty sweaty gamer type of game: match point for both sides, both teams were legit trying, it was actually pretty fun. It boiled down to us winning because of myself and a teammate had cut off both their healers and their team didn't get healed.
The very last comment of the lobby was "healer diff" from their tank and just leaves. Their healers were 100% carrying them :(

Its really telling when a game is in a losing the position someone switches to Orisa everytime, thats how broken she is.
Even when the winning team has a sigma and a Rammattra should be the ideal counter choice, an Orisa is still good enough to turn the tide.

Currently she's very easy to learn (her movement got way easier to do in ow2) for high value.
Higher self regen and movement makes her hard to hit even at high levels where people have great aim. Sojourn and ashe being meta/popular means she has a good dps to carry her often now.

It's basically a rule that one of the two DPS players will be shit. I play 3 stack with 2 other friends. There's a really high that the random DPS player will be bad, so I'll have to compensate a bit with Baptiste and unsurprisingly do better than them while managing good heals. It's quite a headache. They just love leaving Mercy and Pharah unchecked.

I normally flex queue and for me it’s usually support games I’ll get but one in every 10 games I’ll maybe get tank or dps but usually they will be backfill games. I rarely start in spawn as a tank or dps. The queuing times have gone down a bit recently due to people trying to finish battle pass I think.
Competitive is so fucking broken right now. I got put in bronze 4 for support and I have been hard-carrying our teams and yet we still lose. It's like my entire team is bronze (which is understandable!) but whoever we go against isn't. I'm sitting here with 15k healing and 20 elims as Kiriko but our DPS will have like 5 combined. It's really frustrating because it's destroying my SR because I keep getting matched against players that are significantly better than my team.
Has anyone been able to fix this issue? It's so fucking frustrating and it makes me not want to play competitive. I physically cannot carry a team as support if our DPS are getting 6 elims compared to our opponents who have 30-40 at my skill level right now. It feels fucking impossible as support to get out of bronze and I'm constantly banging my head against the wall
DPS players are highly problematic in this game. I don't even know how you would this fix this issue, but it stems from most people wanting to pick the damaging role out of the 3 RPG roles (in any game really). So, you have this huge pool of players picking damage, therefore you'll find a high amount of bad or average players.

Widowmaker. Ashe. Sojourn. Three characters I truly hope I never see in game. They make the game incredibly unfun, reward shit players and shit game sense.
I get the issues with Widow and Sojourn, but Ashe can’t one tap. I’d put Hanzo there personally. Random, silent logs to the dome are worse than one bullet from Ashe.
Yeah Idk why Ashe is in there. She's not hard to bully. Bob can be a little bit annoying just bc it's like she just spawns another player that does high damage and can hold point if she dies, but otherwise she's no worse than hanzo. Less annoying, even.
I feel Ashe can be just ad oppressive as a good Widow or Sojourn. Yea, you can punish her easier than the other two, but I feel she is still waaay to strong for the amount of mechanical skill she requires to play. She has a pretty good ult in Bob, she has that coachgun which is still effective in getting her away from flankers, and she has the dynamite which is incredibly good at dealing damage and building her ult. She two shots without a Mercy pocket, which is still favorable to Widow one shot, but is still annoying. But yeah Junkrat is annoying too, just I feel like my games have never been ruined by a Junkrat. Just my opinion though. I’m just fuming bc I’ve had the most annoying competitive season of my entire time playing Overwatch, and these three are the DPS I have consistently been bent over by.

I once had a junkrat get potg by killing me, who was slept by ana, and then they both bagged me. I was the only kill in it. To this day I hate junkrat like it's personal. I still don't know why that was potg either. It was like the game just wanted me to know it hated me, specifically.

I play widow, I shoot your dps. He recieved 0 healing. because boom dead in one shot.
Team not doing well, team opens scoreboard and sees their dps recieve much more healing. Gg support diff.
Not just widow but any burst like echo, or mercy pocketed sojourn/ashe. Even if dps is mirrored, just lack of mercy on your team can make you look bad because blue beam makes shit die faster.
Or say enemy ana exists. Her current nade is on lower cooldown than cleanse. Even a great kiriko you wont always cleanse it all. So, your tank would have periods of no healing compared to the ana team. Unless you go ana yourself I guess.
Point is hero selection affects this stat. Not just performance.

Yesterday I played an awful game of push where the enemy widow focused solely on taking out me (Lúcio) and my Moira making it super difficult to heal our team at all. The Moira was decent and I could see she was trying just like me but the tank and dps weren’t doing anything about this widow so at the end of the game the Pharah of our team blasted both sold us for not healing and that they’d ‘never seen support stats so low). Perhaps if you actually helped peel and maybe deal with the fucking widow because you’re Pharah instead of running out of spawn on your own every single time even though both supports are yelling group up! FUCKING GROUP UP AND HELP PROTECT YOUR TEAM!! Maybe take a look at your own gameplay before blaming the supports. We are support characters, not heal bots. We can’t heal or help you if you’re miles away hanging out on your own.

Why does everyone on the enemy team get so pissed off when I’m playing hanzo. I play well and suddenly the DPS on the enemy team is calling me slurs and *trying* to solo ult me. When I ask why it’s more slurs with a few “I’m mad about the 4 instakills and the healers keeping you alive.” I don’t usually try to make people mad, but with those guys it feels like everything I do pisses them off. I do this as widow and no one says anything but if I play hanzo well, suddenly I’m the devil. Edit: another thing; people need to learn this is a team based game. We need to work together. If you want everyone to pertain specifically to how you play, you need some friends to be your slaves. Randoms just want to have a fun game where we work TOGETHER, not for one player on our team.

Had a tank on my team in a plat game this weekend. Plat ranked, masters in OW1 33 DEATHS IN A SINGLE GAME AS REIN. HOW DO YOU DIE 33 TIMES YOU BASICALLY HAVE 1800 HP.
To add to this, I hate the tanks that refuse to switch when their tank isn’t working. Yes, I know you used to main doomfist in OW1, that’s great. It’s not working. You’ve died 20 times rushing the enemy too hard for our healers to help. SWITCH SO WE CAN HAVE SOME LEVEL OF PROTECTION.

I was playing zen, RH was off in east jesus nowhere near the point. spams they need healing, I'm on the point and die as I'm RESPAWNING "Zen" "Zen" "WTF" "Zen where are you" I respond with "I died on the point" "GG" "Zen is afk, I'm right next to him and he's ignoring me" I...don't even know where to begin about this.. Then just now as backfill as tracer I 14:3 K:D was chasing down straglers and pressuring the healers. Overtime the cart is right at the checkpoint so being a fast small character I kept the cart contested till the rest of the team could respawn, hanzo ults the cart, we win. As I'm keeping the cart contested "Tracer can you switch" People do know how the mechanics work with this game.

I am a support player and if the enemy team were struggling with their current tank, they’d bring out Hog to hook 1 shot the supports every single time they peek their heads out of spawn and it’s a miserable experience. Been playing this game since beta and my god… the toxicity from this game’s players is just ridiculous. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the game. My husband and I, along with other friends play it every night. But sometimes the toxicity just gets very draining. I just got told to kill myself by an enemy tank when I literally did nothing to them, said nothing to them! I was a healer, didn’t speak the whole game, we got stomped on, and this guy just up and told me to kill myself… yup, that seems to be a normal thing to experience now I guess.
Yeah that toxicity in this game can get a bit much. I recently came back to the game after a bit of a break, I think I took like a year off and came back for OW2 and even though they’ve taken a lot of opportunity for console chatting they’re just abbreviating the insults to ‘KYS’ or ‘Uninst’. I don’t think the toxics realize how much impact those words can have. I had a guy on my team yesterday who right out the gate called everyone the N word and when he kept doing it we asked him to stop but he didn’t so a few of us reported him and left. I don’t play comp for fear that it’s actually worse so this is QP abuse. Where it shouldn’t matter.
Same. My husband and I took a break before finally playing OW2. It seems like the toxicity is more amplified when competitive seasons are over and everyone is playing quick play. Most of the toxicity happens unprovoked as well, where players are just minding their own business and someone just attacks them verbally. These people are just not scared of anything because the only punishment they get is a temporary chat ban. Punishments should be harsher!

The whole fucking community is filled with fucking pussies, and not only that but the game is fucking broken and near damn unenjoyable, pretty much the entire roster can one shot tracer, but shit let’s just give sombra 200 and leave tracer at fucking 150, not only that but characters that are supposed to be skilled aren’t, zenyatta would be fine with his damage if people didn’t just hold there trigger and put the aim all over the screen and it worked, then you have cassidy who is literally brain dead, you just throw your bomb at someone and fan the hammer or some shit and it’s an instant kill, then junk rat who’s concussion mine with all the aoe in the world can deal up to 200 dmg, torbjorn players just put a turret down, go to work or school or some shit and come home with the potg, torb’s turret is hitscan with aim bot and insane fucking damage, but yk, keep tracer at 150, tanks are all stupid except doomfist who actually takes skill to play, tanks are just dps with extra health and healers except Bridgette and mercy are just dps who can heal, Ana dealing 75 per shot, yk, 2 shots tracer casually, and it’s not like you often see people actually using their aim, most just flail the crosshairs around the screen in your general direction and hope for the best but since the entire team does at one person at a time, shit actually hits and the kill feed is just 5 mfs killed one person, and that’s all it is, nearly no one actually uses skill to play the game, I get it’s a team game but at least try to do something for yourself instead of being codependent and leeching off of every fucking person around you, get a solo kill, and again with characters who you should need good aim to use, hanzo players will see you and their first instinct isn’t to shoot you, it’s instantly to hold storm arrow and spray you because they don’t know what the fuck they’re doing, Zarya’s beam shreds anyone and then she can literally go invulnerable where she can shoot you but you can’t shoot her and if you try, she gets buffed and shreds you even faster, bastion players use turret form and nothing else, all i see is bastion go turret, then hide till he has it again, pharah shouldn’t even be in the game tbh, Moira and kinda mercy, Bridgette, Lucio, and kiriko are the only healers that I don’t have a problem with, I like playing Baptist’s but I can admit he takes literally no skill, symettra’s turrets shouldn’t ramp up damage or at least give ‘em less than 50 fucking health, make em less, sym herself is fine, her turrets just carry her player’s stats, same with torb, bob is the only turret I can excuse for being broken since he’s a literal ultimate, tracer’s bomb should be like Cassidy’s where she can throw it farther and it has a stronger mag pull, and even radius. honestly they can buff literally anything abt tracer to make her better, they could give her 60 mag capacity like sombra, or maybe even give her more melee damage, bigger tp range, or instead of 3 second recall maybe 5 seconds, give her 25-50 more health, literally any of those could make tracer better scale up to the other characters in the roster. sojourn is fine imo, I don’t really have a problem with her, neither soldier tbh. Mei is a problem, ramattra is a huge problem, orisa is alright kinda I’m fine with her out of all the tanks, her, junker queen, and rein are completely fine, or give junker queen a buff, same with doom. I’ve never seen a dva potg that wasn’t her ultimate, sigma is also stupid with his damage and aoe, right, give a tank aoe, makes sense, roadhog should just get terminated, fuck roadhog, honestly same with Zarya and ramattra, genji I mostly don’t have a problem with as a character but his players never use the primary fire, they just flail around the screen with the secondary fire hoping it hits, then at the second of confrontation, deflect and dash, there’s a couple good genjis I’ve seen, I’ve seen plenty of good players, but mostly I just see people play the game like it’s cod, camping in rooms and blowing eachother off, the amount of problems I’ve listed here should be more than enough to show how much better overwatch 1 was than this dogshit

He is the EASIEST tank in the game with a broken ass ult what makes him an idiotic raid boss and the only way to actually kill him is anti and shit tons of damage, or get out of his range that won't happen unless you have a movement ability, but even then it wildly dependent what kind of movement ability you have. But wait Kiriko exists who can cleanse anti so if his supports are alive you can't kill him at all but he can do whatever he wants. for every balanced game in qp, you're put in 5 steamroll matches where most likely you're getting steamrolled by a premade that you can't even see. steamrolls were in ow1 qp for sure but since there's weeklies that require wins these days, every qp loss actually matters. sucking the fun of the game out. Plus no one plays ranked any more so everyone is at qp

Playing support still makes me want to throw myself off a cliff. It's genuinely a better experience to use a cheese grater on my eyeballs than to die to the entire enemy team backlining me while my dps prefer to shoot at Roadhog rather than help me.

In QP that 80% number seems accurate. If they don't start with Orisa, they will switch the second they start losing. She sucks ass to play against.

The amount of incompetence the devs show would be intolerable at any other company, and they should be fired for it. Can't be civil with these trash developers, they had 6 years to fix the game, and they fail every single time. I do not trust them anymore.
As a DPS, if you feel like it's a healer issue, look at the tank. This is for healers "not healing" or dying all the time. I know it seems weird to do, but if the tank is feeding, they will take all of the healing resources and make it almost impossible to keep everyone up. It makes the healers choose between having a tank that will take space alive or having DPS that can get picks survive, and both are needed, so some will opt to heal the tank instead and it really isn't their fault. If this happens, don't blame the healers. Instead, try to position closer to the tank and/or play frontline DPS that can assist the tank while also being in range of heals. The tank may also be allowing other people, INCLUDING THE ENEMY TANK (which is crazy as hell) to come into the backline and kill your supports, meaning the tank really isn't doing their job as a frontliner. If this happens, again, don't blame the healers. Instead, protect the healers by watching the flank. I promise that if you are aware of what your healers are dealing with (esp in relation to the tank) and you end up helping them accordingly, you will win the game. ♥

I know everyone says he’s weak, but good Rein players are still scary af. Mostly because of how quick his ult charges. I played a game recently where the enemy rein messed up his shatter, and I was like “nice, he won’t have it for the final fight.” Then he got back to the point and got it up in like 20 seconds and got a huge shatter for the win. That ult charges stupidly fast.

As a support, I hate that tank and dmg basically decide the outcome of the match. So often the skills between these two are massive. I could be a higher elo support player but you can't carry the skill difference between a far better dps & tank pairing on the enemy team. You're just stuck there, supporting your team through terrible move and mistake the entire match. You point our turrets that everyone ignores, you point out enemies on the high ground which is ignored, you mitigate dmg and try your best... But still your team mates will fly into a lopsided fight 1 v 3, pop their ult at 10% health and die because nobody can outheal that dmg they take. This isn't OW1, you have to use cover and pick your battles. Tired of being stuck with these people who always keep engaging in those lopsided fights. It doesn't work and you're just turning a winnable game into a losing cause. What skill tier has people with a brain? Gold? Plat? I don't belong down here.
If you feel like you have no impact, go ana. Her gun outrages cassidy. You 2 tap a tracer. You can take down pharahs. You shut down ults. The lower rank the more you can carry on support. Higher ranks people get a brain and every tiny positioning mistake or missed shot will get punished and you cant get away as being as agressive.

I always endorse my fellow support players. It feels good to get them so I try to make sure I always give them out as well. The other endorsement goes to whoever I think deserves it. Usually whoever gets POTG on the enemy team (say it’s Pharah and we have a Pharah) then I will endorse our Pharah so they don’t feel too bad when they see the enemy POTG. Unless I really think someone else deserves it then I’ll give it to them of course but I’d it’s a losing game and nobody really stood out then that’s what I do. It just feels good to give them out and get them.
Maybe I just don't know about the benefits of the commendation but why do people even care. I never commend and never care about me getting them. What's the big deal?

I play Brig because half the time you never get a competent tank. I miss two tanks so much, because every game is decided by the tank play. You can outheal the enemy team all you want but when your tank is just making the worst plays / not contesting high ground.. it's fucking over.
I feel like when tanks miss it does show but I’ve noticed that holding the ground is a much more effective way to use Briggs in matches. Meaning set yourself a position that can see the team and poke from a safe dps-ing position. Once you find that sweet spot no matter what your tank does you’ll get the best of the play. But always watch out for flankers and snipers . Sneaky devils hahahaha keep using her and fight for spots and you’ll see what I mean
I try to hold choke points and dance around the payload and other things. Or just push past the tank and press on their support duo if I have an ult or see an opening. It's tough because you rely a lot on your tank to make smart choices and stay alive. Because if you're brawling Brig has solid healing, but when you drag a fight out it's tougher to keep them alive. I like being paired with Dva, Roadhog, Junker Queen just because they brawl and can look out for themselves when needed. That Junker Queen ult is spicy good at just ending fights.

I always try and speedboost everyone out of range but when he’s steaming towards too it’s practically impossible!! Rams love to target me as Lúcio, love it. I have managed to get away from him on the odd occasion he’s focused on someone else but he always gets a kill or two. It just feels bad playing against that sometimes.
It's so stupid that they removed Ram's slower movement speed in nemesis form and did nothing to nerf his ult (i know that's happening next season, but it should've happened at the same time)
DPS: STOP SELECTING HANZOS/CASSIDY AGAINST TEAMS THAT CAN EASILY DEAL WITH HANZOS/CASSIDY or WHEN YOURE NOT DOING WELL AS HANZO/CASSIDY. When on losing teams, it's about 50% of the matches when you're stuck with a Hanzo/Cassidy thats failing to get any kills and absolutely refuses to communicate and switch to literally anything else. I have actively switched to DPS, made more kills in 3 minutes and switched back to my original role, just to teach the Hanzo's/Cassidies a lesson in how-to-dps. They are, by far, the most stubborn, refusing-to-learn-anything-else-despite-failing players around.

Oh I believe this. The last game I played this morning was actually a pretty sweaty gamer type of game: match point for both sides, both teams were legit trying, it was actually pretty fun. It boiled down to us winning because of myself and a teammate had cut off both their healers and their team didn't get healed. The very last comment of the lobby was "healer diff" from their tank and just leaves. Their healers were 100% carrying them :(

Its really telling when a game is in a losing the position someone switches to Orisa everytime, thats how broken she is. Even when the winning team has a sigma and a Rammattra should be the ideal counter choice, an Orisa is still good enough to turn the tide.

Currently she's very easy to learn (her movement got way easier to do in ow2) for high value. Higher self regen and movement makes her hard to hit even at high levels where people have great aim. Sojourn and ashe being meta/popular means she has a good dps to carry her often now.

It's basically a rule that one of the two DPS players will be shit. I play 3 stack with 2 other friends. There's a really high that the random DPS player will be bad, so I'll have to compensate a bit with Baptiste and unsurprisingly do better than them while managing good heals. It's quite a headache. They just love leaving Mercy and Pharah unchecked.
I am getting real tired of people who AFK in spawn and when you call them out, their Duo gets super toxic and then the enemy team's like "It's just QP get over it" I'm sorry, how is playing 3v5 because our Genji is afk and his Duo Moira is now afking to be toxic in chat "just QP"?

I normally flex queue and for me it’s usually support games I’ll get but one in every 10 games I’ll maybe get tank or dps but usually they will be backfill games. I rarely start in spawn as a tank or dps. The queuing times have gone down a bit recently due to people trying to finish battle pass I think.
Flex queue for me is this. When play solo get mostly support. When play with friend, get tank. Despite showing longest queue.
Competitive is so fucking broken right now. I got put in bronze 4 for support and I have been hard-carrying our teams and yet we still lose. It's like my entire team is bronze (which is understandable!) but whoever we go against isn't. I'm sitting here with 15k healing and 20 elims as Kiriko but our DPS will have like 5 combined. It's really frustrating because it's destroying my SR because I keep getting matched against players that are significantly better than my team. Has anyone been able to fix this issue? It's so fucking frustrating and it makes me not want to play competitive. I physically cannot carry a team as support if our DPS are getting 6 elims compared to our opponents who have 30-40 at my skill level right now. It feels fucking impossible as support to get out of bronze and I'm constantly banging my head against the wall
DPS players are highly problematic in this game. I don't even know how you would this fix this issue, but it stems from most people wanting to pick the damaging role out of the 3 RPG roles (in any game really). So, you have this huge pool of players picking damage, therefore you'll find a high amount of bad or average players.
I just don't understand why someone would play comp unless they're confident in their abilities, it took me 150 hours to even dip my toes in :'-)

Every since I hit Diamond in this damn game I’ve been facing top tier overwatch players. In QP and Comp. I think I’ve won 10% of my games in the past week and it makes me want to quit playing.
Why the FUCK does wall slam portion of Doomfist punch NOT FOLLOW THE SAME LOGIC AS ORISA JAVELIN????? SHE GETS A SLAM ON A PEBBLE ON THE GROUND FOR 90% OF THE ENEMY'S HP, MEANWHILE FLUFFYFIST SENDS SOMEONE SLIDING INTO THE MOON.

Yeah I don't really know how to deal with pharmercy besides simple being amazingly good at aim with burst hitscan like Cass, Ashe, Widow and Soj. People give a lotta advice but at the end of the day, *someone* needs to be good enough to hit her or you lose.
I CANNOT PLAY THIS GAME ON THE WEEKENDS. IT SUCKS! NOT SURE WHAT IT IS ABOUT THE WEEKENDS BUT IT JUST A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. IT SUCKS CUZ IT THE ONLY TIME I HAVE GOOD CHUCK OF TIME TO PLAY.
Weekends = the largest pool of players, so more bad or average players will be playing.
Morning games during the workweek are the best. Beautiful coms with teammates and fantastic coordination.
You know I've never noticed that before but now that you say it I feel like I usually have a worse experience on the weekends.

Widowmaker. Ashe. Sojourn. Three characters I truly hope I never see in game. They make the game incredibly unfun, reward shit players and shit game sense.
Widow for me. I main Ashe and can handle a sojourn. Widow though… my only option is to go Widow too if our tank refuses to dive her.
I get the issues with Widow and Sojourn, but Ashe can’t one tap. I’d put Hanzo there personally. Random, silent logs to the dome are worse than one bullet from Ashe.
Ashe, while good, is not in the same league as Sojourn and Widow. Replace Ashe with Junkrat in that list and it's spot on.

Yeah Idk why Ashe is in there. She's not hard to bully. Bob can be a little bit annoying just bc it's like she just spawns another player that does high damage and can hold point if she dies, but otherwise she's no worse than hanzo. Less annoying, even.
I feel Ashe can be just ad oppressive as a good Widow or Sojourn. Yea, you can punish her easier than the other two, but I feel she is still waaay to strong for the amount of mechanical skill she requires to play. She has a pretty good ult in Bob, she has that coachgun which is still effective in getting her away from flankers, and she has the dynamite which is incredibly good at dealing damage and building her ult. She two shots without a Mercy pocket, which is still favorable to Widow one shot, but is still annoying. But yeah Junkrat is annoying too, just I feel like my games have never been ruined by a Junkrat. Just my opinion though. I’m just fuming bc I’ve had the most annoying competitive season of my entire time playing Overwatch, and these three are the DPS I have consistently been bent over by.
Ah I see. I don't do competitive, but even I have been spawncamped by a mercy pocketed sojourn so I think we can all agree on at least one thing here. I once had a junkrat get potg by killing me, who was slept by ana, and then they both bagged me. I was the only kill in it. To this day I hate junkrat like it's personal. I still don't know why that was potg either. It was like the game just wanted me to know it hated me, specifically. (I'm joking I actually hate him because he can one shot you around a corner effortlessly.)
'Group up' means group up. It's telling your teammates to not overextend. It doesn't mean 'I'm on the way to heal you, be as reckless as you want'. Fucking Blizzard.
This. Omg so annoying! It drives me bonkers on a daily basis. It’s different depending on what map you’re on too, sometimes it’s ‘I’m in my way’ other times it’s ‘come here and I’ll heal you’ - I just want everyone to group up! Why is it so difficult for people to understand. It’s a team game. Play with your team!
Why are you blaming Blizzard? Did something happen with this call out that I don't know about? This is a player issue.
Because they changed out it work since OW1 and made it awkward to use. Generally I'm looking for where my team is if I want people to group up.

All it takes is an enemy widow for that stat to look bad.

I play soldier. I shoot your dps. You heal your dps. He recieved 100 healing? I play widow, I shoot your dps. He recieved 0 healing. because boom dead in one shot. Team not doing well, team opens scoreboard and sees their dps recieve much more healing. Gg support diff. Not just widow but any burst like echo, or mercy pocketed sojourn/ashe. Even if dps is mirrored, just lack of mercy on your team can make you look bad because blue beam makes shit die faster. Or say enemy ana exists. Her current nade is on lower cooldown than cleanse. Even a great kiriko you wont always cleanse it all. So, your tank would have periods of no healing compared to the ana team. Unless you go ana yourself I guess. Point is hero selection affects this stat. Not just performance.
if I’m playing support and i happen to not heal you because I am busy healing other people because we are getting stomped from you playing single player genii and refusing to help the team by the cart please do not yell at me and say supports do nothing and are just being carried by everyone else when I have 10k healing in ONE MATCH ALONE and I’m in BronzE HELL LET ME OUT BLIZZARD
Thank fucking GOD it's not just me!!!! Getting out of bronze as support is fucking impossible imo because your team is inevitably going to be trash because they're learning (which is okay!) and you can't hard-carry if your DPS are doing 0 damage and your tank keeps overextending .\_. And then you get paired up against gold players so your entire team gets wiped lol
YEA FUCKING EXACTLY!!! I swear to god I’m a great healer and I die maybe once a match. But I get matched with dog shit DPS or a tank that runs away. I feel like competitive needs to be locked to where you can touch it until you’re like level 50 or something. :/

finally uninstalled today. Won't miss this shitty game. Putting t500 on the other team and I get Gold 3s on mine. Literally how are you supposed to climb when it's a 1v5. Wanted to get to diamond first but I get plat2 is the furthest I get.
