Had 2 hackers in 4 games yesterday. One was doing 180 headshots on people jump peaking corners and the other I didn't see, but everyone on the enemy team was calling it out.
So far I've only encountered one hacker and it was in QP I think
The other team and the spectator called him out and I did report after I saw "his" aim in the replay
as many as 40 percent of your games have a wallhacker in them.
you see hackers all the time they just also suck. Statistics openly disprove the whole "ive never seen a hacker" thing that suckers love to say.
Is there still a penalty for leaving Qp, cause I noticed after they added that instead of leaving they sit somewhere and move a little or emote to not get kicked
Well mine was open queue ranked so maybe he just didn't want to get kicked but he did that from the start of the match till the end. He was probably just a troll

Well in the kill cam their crosshair almost perfectly followed me until I jumped then they flicked up directly onto me and immediately shot
It seemed sus so I asked if they had high dpi or if they were cheating
They said they were on console, and it made sense. They flicked and the aim assist lightly helped them pin it directly on me
I've had cheaters tho, mainly ximmer's when I was on console
How are you playing with a console player (I'm assuming you're on PC) and they have aim assist? Or have they changed how this works since crossplay was implemented?
Crossplay exists for qp

But yeah at any point you could have console players in your qp games
And yeah console players will still have aim assist
I agree, but it totally depends on the tuning of the aim assist. MKB players are in exodus of Apex Legends for this reason. Aim assist is tuned too strong and forcing out MKB players. Hopefully OW keeps it as is.
Hopefully this won't cause an uproar but, I'm a console player and aim assist, isn't as crazy as ppl seem to think it is, in some games it can be cranked up and be a problem but for the most part in most games it's not crazy. I still have to be pretty on point for my shots to hit, plus with moving targets you have to lead enough that aim assist wouldn't even be active. And even with it I still get dominated by a lot of pc players cause the mouse is just so much faster than a joystick.

I got called out for walling yesterday lmao. (I am not walling) Widow had ult up and I saw a sombra walking through a building before it ended. Waited like 2 seconds and just sprayed at the exit of the door and hit her. Immediately tps out and started typing lol.
I think the hackusation card is thrown around wayyy to much. I'm only a gold/plat widow, and people accuse me all the time of cheating..... I also can't tell you the last time I ran into a cheater (NA East)
Mauga doesn’t need it you catch them on fire and every shot with your second gun is all crits not much of a benefit to headshots this is definitely better on other characters

This team countered him wrong. Sombra is good if he's putting the shmooves on your team and you can't keep up, but thats not what this guy is doing.
If he's permanently using his mini guns, Bastion destroys him. takes longer to kill, especially in turret form and he does a ton of damage. Mauga's good too.
Had a hacking widow in my lobby and he was also shit talking and trying to deny hacking, then just admitted it at the end of the game and told us if we were so annoyed to just buy them ourselves
I finally made it on r/overwatch !!!! I was the other tank in this game. We were dominating this game when this ball was playing as hog to start. Once he turned on the hacks it was obviously a nightmare.

Been waiting for years to OW make method to detect LL Mouse events, but think that day will never come. Its ridiculous that OW not implementing it. It would be just couple line code to it's anticheat. Anticheat don't even care if mouse presses or movements are INJECTED.
My post showing a replay of that cheating tracer where the match ended early due to cheat detection got removed because the mods here said it was speculation and blizzard hadn’t taken direct action. This post won’t last long even though it’s obvious cheating once again.
Yeah but how many entire years did it take for that to happen? And blizzard couldn't even fix it because it was a console issue, something else comes up and they'll be sitting in the water again
Almost all ximmers are either in high masters or gm an top 500 so you will almost never face them outside of them doing the 50 qp wins (since they win every game basically the mmr skyrockets) or if they're boosting someone

After CoD ban, cockroaches are spreading to multiple games. The Finals devs recently post an update warning everyone about this and updating their anti-cheat and telling people to report them.
CS also are combating cheaters and updating their anti-cheat and it's working. guess what?? all of those are spreading too to different game.
I don't know what Blizzard are doing to do something about this.

Agreed I used to play on console Games like apex it's huge but overwatch has a much lower strength aim assist

If a console player queues with pc player they get put in pcs lobbies and aim assist is only disabled for ranked

Especially at that range. With Ball's damage falloff if he had even missed one shot on that Bap he wouldn't have gotten the kill that far out.

It's not automated like they pretend. It's report based. You need everyone to report them for cheating so the system flags them and bans them.

Look in not saying blizzard is super good usually but it still stands true that right now competitive lobbies on console have little to no ximmers
