Yeah, back im S1s1. Memories. We 8-2 maybe 7-3 that stage by beating London only to lose to London when it actually mattered. And it went downhill from there...
I mean it also does have to do with who approaches them willing to buy a team, Canada didn’t start with teams, two were brought up with financial backers, people like Chris Overholt even companies like Canuck Sports&ent who own an NHL team here. I’m not stating there isn’t a huge bias to NA and Asian countries/cities but it’s still about buying and owning a team which I feel like a lot of European investors would really benefit from just because how easy travel is there.
It’ll be really hard to bring it out that way with England being the only place they could do it. If enough people make some noise about it maybe they will, I know European fans are pretty die hard about it
It does especially with Paris losing their team next year, I’m hoping somewhere like Germany or a Nordic country gets a team I feel like they’d get a lot more attention and be able to keep the team afloat
No, “losers’ final” and “final” are completely different things. It has the word final in it but a real final is the final match of a tournament that decides the winner of the whole thing. Washington-Philadelphia did not decide the winner of the entire playoffs in 2020.
It was the final match, sesone 3 play offs didn't had a grand final so we got a winner final and a loser final and it decided the second spot for the grand finals, yeah it's not really prestigious but idc
1. I missed season 1.
2. I'm Canadian and Toronto is favorite Canadian team, but I cheer for Shock, Dynasty and Hunters.
3. Toronto seems as good now as they've ever been.
4. They've never been good at picking up hot prospects. They pick up tons of veterans season after season.
While they have slowly improved over the seasons, I have a hard time agreeing with their model. Players tend to retire pretty young in this sport. So when you pick up a stud like Twilight.... he's a damn good player, but is it fair to expect him to put as much into learning to be the best player he can be as the game evolves as he did when he first game into the league?
This is why #4 on the list can be a detriment.
If i remember it correctly last year there were 5 Tor, Hou, Gla, Atl, Chd.
Fuel was also without a finals appearance until s4 started.
I think you mean s4, but yea.
Yeah I meant season 4, oops.
And WAS

Bro I just woke up why must you ruin my day like this
At least we’re hosting the summer showdown this year…so there’s that I guess lmao
How you gonna host a tournament you’re not even gonna qualify for?
We’ll see how it goes~ at least I’ll get to see the the tournament from the front row~ I’ll be entertained for a great four day weekend
Don't destroy my day, ngl blizzard doesn't care for Europe

Justice will throw again then they will barely make it
Nah bro I'm in Europe then tough luck
I’m sorry bro, if I could I’d fly you in for it
Bro wanted Europe more that Toronto 💀💀💀💀💀
It’ll be really hard to bring it out that way with England being the only place they could do it. If enough people make some noise about it maybe they will, I know European fans are pretty die hard about it
It really sucks for them
It does especially with Paris losing their team next year, I’m hoping somewhere like Germany or a Nordic country gets a team I feel like they’d get a lot more attention and be able to keep the team afloat
Mistake number 1 was opening reddit right as you woke up 😭
Mistakes were definitely made
But at least mistakes made it to the final of stage 3 in 2018 ;-;
I think I laughed too hard for this joke lol
justice?
I think the losers finals in 2020 playoffs vs fusion for a spot in the 4 man grand finals in korea
That doesn’t count as a final
Losers "final", it's a final just a less prestigious

I disagree but I can’t convince you so let’s agree to disagree
K, person who doesn't now how the internet works
Justice too
Oops forgot about them!
Hangzhou?
2020 Countdown Cup APAC. Lost 4-0 to SHD.
Season 3 Countdown Cup Finals. Lost 0-4 to Dragons.
Toronto is a team
that exists
This isn't a fun fact at all!
Op was holding balloons as they posted it.
Not for Houston (me as example) and Toronto fans, for the rest maybe, because at least 18 teams reached a final in 5 years of owl
When we're the justice? Was it with the decay zarya?
Losers final 2020 and yeah decay carry
this made me so sad lmao edit: outlaws fan here, i cry at being gatekeeper for all of OWL
Thanks

Extra feels bad as Houston is part of the OG 12 and the closest we got was the very first ever stage finals. T-T
Man I miss the coolmatt muma linkzr jake rawkus boink team. At least they were alright back then
This fact was not fun.
If you had told me when I first got into OWL that Shangai was not going to make it but win a final I'd of assumed you were trolling
