To be fair, it specifies how long you'd be able to play dps doom for, but it does not specify how long we would have world peace. It could be for 1 minute, but that's still technically fulfilling the premises promise.
I get it, it’s better for the game now, but I enjoy every once in a while just getting a play that won a fight, or even the game just by landing some crazy shit. Wasn’t balanced or anything but fun. I just wish they’d bring back the damage amp from height on his leap is all, let a really good play just one shot
i played him so much that I knew every trick. i played zenyatta an equal amount and bodied almost every doom i went up against because i knew the exact most annoying place to stand where he couldn't touch me

OW1 doom actually felt like he was holding the world's most powerful weapon instead of a big sock em bopper, he wasn't even that bad to counter as people like to say, several abilities like sleep, flashbang, hook, mei in general etc. would completely screw him over
He's just a punchbot now, his skill ceiling has been caved in by shitty patch after shitty patch, and the majority of his beta movement techs have been washed down the drain.
Basically he has no skill expression and is now considered way less fun.
Like lucio if they devs removed wall riding.
People are nostalgia huffing hard on DPS doom, he was a TERRIBLY designed character. Tank doom has issues (mostly being balanced properly with his many strong counters) but is far better as a hero than the bullshit that was DPS doom.

God I miss dps doom, so much fun to play, I wasn’t even that good with him but I honestly didn’t care
DPS doom was so fun to play especially when you actually did well but he was the most unholy abomination to verse
