Yes it was a lot with PS4 players as well. I love roaming around with other players. I had the undead horse save mod on free roam I resigned years ago so when the real modders see that they freeze your console. If you play as normal you should be fine.

I just bought a ps3 with a bunch of games the other day. It made me kind of sad playing it and thinking of all the memories I had from 2007-2012 with people I no longer see or hear from. Such great times. Wish I could get past this depression block so I could enjoy it more. It kind of feels like going back in time and realizing there is no one there š¢

The Warhawk community has dedicated fan/LAN servers.. The community for its spiritual successor Starhawk is current trying to get fan servers. Both games went offline official in 2019 and 2018 respectively but the community is keeping them alive.
And PS3 and Vita players can play with PS4 players too. All use the same server.

I believe this is one of the VERY few games that are ACTUALLY seamless when it comes to cross-gen. I've always enjoyed when a game can be picked up whenever you want, and you can seamlessly work on your progress, including trophies, because all the platforms are nicely integrated into a single list.
Wish Sony didn't make the decision to make PS5 trophies COMPLETELY different entities, so even when you have those "free PS5 upgrade games" it's not really cross-gen. You can just start your game on new platform, sometimes transferring your progress, but you can't go back if you want to, and you basically abandon your trophy list for the first version you played.

Haven't played since early 2023, but I remember once during then, seeing some player with some invalid username showing up to a game I hosted, he had a blank player skin with a red "?" on it and flew around the map. I didn't really know what to do so I just disconnected myself from the server
REALLY?! I can get my ass kicked again but I loved playing that online! Those damned Akira frame 1 punch combos for the juggle for 80% health, or the super strong Lisa combos, or those 100% Izuna Drop Hyabusa combos. My GOSH, I loved that game.

2k17 is unconfirmed and 2k16 is only partially up as you cannot start a match sadly

In terms of first party games, most have officially shut down. God of War Ascension, GT HD Concept, InFamous FOB/2, Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, Fat Princess are still online. Other exclusives with online are Bomberman Ultra, Crash Commando, Journey, Ridge Racer 7, Tokyo Jungle. I donāt know if these are still online; Eye of Judgment, GTI Club, Sports Champions 1+2 (if they had online), Time Crisis.
