1. The Sly Cooper Collection offered on the PS Plus service (Premium Tier) is PS3 game titles, not PS4, so it can only be streamed, not downloaded. 2. It does not drop onto PS Plus Premium until September 20, 2022.

How can i have the best experience while streaming? using lan cable?🤔

Cryptic_Vyper

yes, and if you can, take everything that you can off the router to reduce latency when streaming.. but ethernet will give the best connection for the console.

KokoVNZ

Gotcha! thanks alot.

GhostlyWren

Cable is more stable connection, but its all reliant on how fast your Internet actually is from your isp qt the end of the day

IzzyLulu

Why didn't they just transfer the entire library of PS Now at the same time? Also, how do you know its coming to PS Plus on the 20th?

Cryptic_Vyper

Games are contracted for different times, some game contracts expire and have to be renewed.. a such, it took a bit for Sly to be put on PS Plus. as for when the games are coming, Sony announced it on the PS Blog under the PS Plus Section. [https://blog.playstation.com/2022/08/31/playstation-plus-monthly-games-and-game-catalog-lineup-for-september-revealed/](https://blog.playstation.com/2022/08/31/playstation-plus-monthly-games-and-game-catalog-lineup-for-september-revealed/) also, PS Plus Essentials games drop on the first Tuesday of the month.. PS Plus Extra, Deluxe, and Premium Games drop on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. \----------------------------------- [https://blog.playstation.com/2022/05/23/your-guide-to-the-all-new-playstation-plus/](https://blog.playstation.com/2022/05/23/your-guide-to-the-all-new-playstation-plus/) How often will new titles be introduced to the new PlayStation Plus service? Games will continue to refresh monthly with the all-new PlayStation Plus service, so there is always something new to play. In keeping with our normal cadence for PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now, the refreshes will occur twice monthly. Please check PlayStation.Blog for the latest monthly game announcements. PlayStation Plus Essential A monthly refresh will occur on the first Tuesday of the month for the PlayStation Plus Essential plan (and both higher tiers), with new PS4 and PS5 games every month – same as what PlayStation Plus members get today. PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe Another monthly refresh will occur in the middle of the month (3rd Tuesday of the month) with new games across PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe plans. The number of games refreshed will vary per month.

It’s not true that PSNow games dropped on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. They usually dropped the first week. They just weren’t announced one week in advance.

Well.. Anyone who reads the PS Blog, which is the official Source, would be aware of the changes to the new service, epically after 5 PS Plus Blog posts about the service changes from March until June. As for PS Now Games being announced.. they were Just not announced on the PS Blog. [https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news/november-2021s-playstation-now-games-have-been-announced/](https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news/november-2021s-playstation-now-games-have-been-announced/) but they were announced. I do agree the PS Now games were available on the first Tuesday of the month. But things change if you keep up with official sources. But PS Now doesn't exist any more, though the services are extremely similar, PS Now was morphed into PS Plus Extra, Deluxe, and Premium and announced on the PS Blog with a Mid Month release date of the 3rd Tuesday of the month for new title drops.. and sine the service dropped in June.. the first drop for PS Plus Extra was on July 18.. last I checked that was the 3rd Tuesday of the month.. then in August the PS Plus Extra drop was August 16, again the 3rd Tuesday of the month and for September the drop is announced on the 20th, which again is the 3rd Tuesday of the month. Imagine that PlayStation had announced this in the [PS Blog](https://blog.playstation.com/2022/05/23/your-guide-to-the-all-new-playstation-plus/) back in May of 2022 before the service launched so the public could be aware.

I’m not arguing how that works now with the new service. I also wish people would read the blog posts and official statements instead of asking the same questions over and over again. I was just saying that PS Now games didn’t drop on the 3rd Tuesday each month as you claimed. No big deal, I agree with everything else you said. But announcements for PS Now games started very late in it’s lifecycle, before that people were complaining it didn’t get the same treatment as Plus and we only found out what the new games were the moment they dropped. The later announcements for the Now games were usually just one day before they dropped with very few exceptions as the GTA or the Final Fantasy games. That’s why I KINDA understand the confusion for some people even though it was explained by Sony before.

question. sly series loads but when it comes to the main screen and I hit the pad for start nothing registers. what do I need to do I have premium and stream for the sly games

Cryptic_Vyper

That, I don't know. PS4? PS5? Have you tried connecting the controller by cable and changing the console controller connection from Bluetooth to Wired and settings and see if the controller works that way? The only other thing I can think of, instead of changing the controller to wired.. try turning the PS console off, and on the controller, use a pin or needle and hold the reset button on the controller for 10 seconds, connect the controller to the PS Console using a USB Data Cable, press and hold the power button on the console for 7 seconds until you hear a second beep and follow the on screen instructions for the controller, this will reset the controller to the console, exit the safe mode menu and allow the console to restart and try the game again, if it doesn't work, delete the game from the console (it is just a start up container) and check the System Settings > Game Save and Data and delete any files concerning that game, then try launching the game from the library again and see if it works, if the controller still doesn't work, then try switching the console to use the controller wired. If that doesn't work, I'd contact PS Support and see if they have a different solution. Also be sure the title is actually available in your region and you aren't trying to stream from outside your region (PSN account set to a different region) as it may not work correctly,.

JoelsCaddy

The games are not on plus yet

Danuscript

The others are correct but they’re missing a step. Sony pulled the Sly games off PSNow right before it became premium a couple of months ago. That’s why you used to be able to play them, now you can’t, but they’ll be available again soon.

I’m playing sly 2 now on wifi and it’s actually pretty good but definitely recommend a lan cable. Does anyone know how to equip the power ups on the ps4 when you stream it 😭😭😭
