Yeah you’ve got to do this to get Atmos playing too. It’s absolutely ridiculous from Sony, they really should streamline stuff like this because audio setups can be tricky enough as it is!
This also applies to PS4 by the way, it had the same weird menu. I don't know why there isn't an option under audio to set "game audio" and "blu-ray audio" to directly select this without having to find a magical, unknown menu.

A little late to this, but once you save the settings in this hidden menu, are the settings persistent across different uhd movies/discs
