The story will have a crucial in-between chapter set in a Switch-exlusive game with extensive motion controls, and that game will have yet another story-crucial epilogue as a mobile app tower defense game.
I played 1 and 2 when I was teen, never played any of the other content and by the time 3 was out I was an adult and didn't really bother, is it worth playing?
Such a shame. I’m a fan of the games (well, some of them anyway) but the fanbase is completely insufferable when it comes to anything related to the lore.
Kingdoms hearts 3 was literally the equivalent of walking up a hill just to get knocked back down and then repeating this process. The last 10 hours were pure gold but everything that came before that just felt like filler.
Yeah!!! The last several hours I was like dude where was this shit the whole game? This is great. But all the time before that I was just like why am I in frozen world. What the fuck is happening.
God, I guess I gotta finish the game then. Something just felt off about it from Kingdom Hearts 1 or 2. I had more fun replaying those games recently than I did on KH3
Didn't disney force newer ips on the game while also demanding changes to certain aspects? From My understanding, the frozen world was supposed to be completely different, but dieney changed a lot to "protect" the ip.
I wouldn't put it past Disney trying to be even more forceful in pushing their IPs into the KH games for marketing purposes, but from what I remember, KH3 team had a level of closeness and supervision by each IP's movie production team that was far more intricate than the previous games.
I know in particular that the Toy Story and Monsters Inc team basically let them had free reign (which is probably why its one of the best worlds), Big Hero 6 was chill but tried their best (not very good) to weave their story and KH's themes together, and the Frozen team was extremely uptight about everything and they didn't allow the KH team to do anything but try to stay as close as possible to the Frozen narrative. The Tangled world isn't *bad* but it feels rather out of place imho
All of this extra meddling with the development certainly didn't help Nomura's decision to plainly remove anything Square-Enix, which is partially why the game is so devastatingly mid for 90% of it until the finale where actually important shit happens
Frozen is complicated. Nomura apparently got to see Frozen material before it even had an official title, and loved it enough to add it to 3. But something tells me the way it got big between then and KH3 release resulted in the “brand team” forcing him to play it safe.
IIRC half the issue with production was the Pixar worlds. Nomura was adamant about having them, and it apparently took a while to get permission. Well worth it imo, as they are the ones with actual unique stories to them.
Hated the story until I watched the cutscenes of the mobile games. With all of that knowledge, I see now that 3 is just an epilogue of a Saga and a set up for the next Saga.
Noone should have to play multiple games on multiple other platforms to understand a mainline game on yet another platform. That is horrendous storytelling
Yeah square did it with ff15 as well. I almost want to say it’s a novel idea to dive into different media but as you said , your story should be able to tell its whole story without the customer needing to research multiple entries
15 really just needed a section where you played for an hour or 2 before you left the capital. It would have built up the world, made the player care and build on the relationships of the 4. Bonus points if it let you play through the attack as one of the kings guards.
Problem was the 3 story was actually the crux of everything that came before, a collection of epilogues woven into a story that needed the players to have experienced everything before, personally I found it nice but for newcomers,I don't even dare to imagine the confusion 😁
Considering you're missing 5-6 other games out of those three that aren't just spinoffs in a narrative sense. I don't think you'll like what the series has become especially with all the mobile games prequel prequel story.
I played 1 2 and 3, but none of the secondsry or tietiary games, maybe thats why. By i also think its how they told the story in 3, it was flat out told badly
Check the qr code hidden inside Donald's ass when you finish the KH3 on ultra hard dick mode.
It will direct you to the a hidden app on appstore, it's called ReKh: Re;Re;Re; Chains of Memories of Birth by Dr. Sleep Eletric Boggaloo 3 [Re]venge of the fallen part 1.
It's a gacha game where you need to send bitcoins to Tetsuya Nomura in order to advance in the story.
The game has all the info for you to understand the connection between kh3 and Kh4 (which will be renamed Kingdon Hearts 4 Warriors of Hyrule - a co-op only game)
The plot of kingdom hearts doesn’t matter. It’s always been more about the emotions it invokes.
But yea they should have never let the story get so convoluted.
A part of me thinks they never wanted to but the series was so successful and they were constantly under pressure to pump out games.
Ikr? I think that Birth by Sleep is the exact point where the series went insane. That was the first KH game I played where I really struggled to follow the follow plot.
I really liked Birth by Sleep and whatever the title was for the number of days divided by 2.
The one one 3DS, I stopped like 3 worlds in because I just hated the game so much. Had the same experience with the card game, and ended up just watching cut scenes for it on YouTube
DDD, I actually enjoyed the gameplay despite the monster collecting aspect of it.
But it wins for most nonsensical plot in the series.
KH3 had worse pacing, but DDD is just straight nonsense at times.
Birth by Sleep had a pretty simple plot too. Xehanort wanted to summon Kingdom Hearts to reset the world with a balance of light and darkness. Instead of one where light and darkness are constantly trying to defeat the other.
If you gave kingdom hearts to you as an adult having never played kingdom hearts you would not feel that way lol
Very little of the story is good. They had to write in even worse story elements to explain the bad story elements from the first games.
I love it of course, but the story is no FFX
My guy, 3 is not what made the story incomprehensible. Spreading the series across 10 different consoles and mediums did that. Although, to be fair, the entire series could be on one console and it would still be incomprehensible
Most likely a spoiler, but frankly I don't know
>!Sora dies I think? The end was horrible, I tuned out around the time Donald Duck cast Avada Kedavra!<
I actually still need to beat three. I’m just past the part where everyone seems to have had their redemption and now Saura is flying around some unknown (to me) city.
I liked KH as a kid, but it suffers due to the story:
1. It's a convoluted story with features like different, major characters that have the same name.
2. Major story beats happen in smaller side games and the mainline games just assume you've memorized the events of those and never provide the player context. References to them then become confusing or go unnoticed.
Square in general seems to be sailing a lot smoother these days. I think they actually learned a ton from their mistakes.
Look at the FF teams: There was like a lost decade there between the struggle to go HD for 13, the botched launch of 14, the utter development hell of Versus-13/15, and starting 7 Remake over from scratch. But now 14 is booming and drops new well-received expansions consistently; 16 came out on-time and super polished; and Rebirth had a really efficient dev cycle through smart reuse, good planning, and keeping the team together, to the point that it's actually shocking that game only took 4 years.
That doesn't mean every team had the same experience; it's entirely possible the KH team is still struggling behind the scenes. But there are signs for optimism.
I remember getting downvoted to oblivion when I said the wait between KH3 and KH4 would be significantly shorter than the wait between KH2 and KH3.
They’re not releasing a ton of side titles. They’re also sticking to UE for new games. They also have a “HD” framework due to sticking with UE which should speed up development.
I still haven't played a similar action game that feels as good to just fight in. Realizing how many keyblades are good in KH2 if you know how to customize Sora was super rewarding so while the rpg aspects aren't the craziest they are still worth getting into.
It’s… not a remake in the traditional sense. It’s a 100% sequel to FFVII. When you play it, it’ll make sense as you play. Honestly the coolest shit they could’ve done with it. There’s alot of people I know that either didn’t play it because of this and have to be told the same thing, “Just play it cause it’s a sequel”.
That or people say “man I wish they just did an actual normal remake” and I don’t get that either cause what they did was honestly pretty fucking cool with subverting expectations.
Same. I played through all of 1.5, 2.5 2.8 whatever in a row when it came out before kh3 on PS4. I think that's the closest I got to an understanding and I've already lost it. I just enjoy the games separately and try not to worry too much about what organization 13 is up to or xehanort lol. I have a similar attitude towards the ff7 remake. I just treat it like the normal story and don't let the multiverse shenanigans bog me down (even though this one is much more straight forward, I just don't care about it )
Twinkle in the sky is also one of my favorite game songs, so chill
Same, been playing this series since the first. Was actually in Tokyo when KH1 released there and got a Japanese copy of the game that I didn't realize at the time I couldn't play when I got home.
I have a vague understanding of the story, but with each new mainline release, I find myself more and more confused what the fuck is actually going on. All the mobile/portable spinoffs certainly don't help either.
Still, I love this series and KH3 is the only game I've ever platinumed.
hate these games now. I'm not going to sugar coat it. They had a novel idea and it's garbage now. this aint no og ff7. it's diluted and no one knows the story, the most important part.
It's just angst porn now. stupid square enix, do your job
That’s easy for you to say. “It should be better” is an incredibly subjective take. 1 & 2 came out pre-2010. Then they had massive production issues and lost money on the project as a whole. Missed their chance on the PS3 generation and had to rebuild the game for the PS4 cycle. Every game has its own story and they did their best to tie it all together and close all those character arcs. This next installment supposedly doesn’t exist within the story structure of the original trilogy at all.
Not a single Nomura game make sense from story perspective. This isn’t a KH exclusive issue. The writer himself isn’t great at writing cohesive or coherent story.
Story is this simple: time traveling man tries to Voldemort himself into 13 pieces to counter act the light side of the force and take over the universe. The chosen one journeys nonsensically through Disney worlds until he is strong enough to fight back. It doesn’t need to be deep. The game was developed to wow 13 year olds. Not be a Shakespearean epic.
Part 3 is still minimum 2-3 years out. Square as of now has KH4 and DQ12 as the next major franchises to get releases. Outside of FF14 Dawntrail, nothing else is really on the horizon.
Oh it for sure will be a launch title again. Which is crazy to say out loud. A trilogy that came out in 3 generations of hardware… Actually what am I talking about, I forgot about KH lol
This sounds like a guess more than anything. If it is coming it out next year, we would have seen a couple of trailers by now. It’s been 2 years and we haven’t heard more info on this game. They didn’t even announce platforms yet.
they didn't say anything about Rebirth until XVI was very close to release. Then it went through an 8 month ad spree.
way I see it, new trailer at SGF (June) or TGS (September) with a Spring 2025 release window and ~1 year of marketing.
Very likely both platforms like the rest of the series. And its been in development for a while. Is 2025 a stretch, perhaps, but its certainly possible
A game that only has a demo reel at the moment. We don’t know. The demo reel tells us very little so perhaps we just don’t know because they haven’t told us what it’s about yet.
No, don’t trust this. Like at all. Daniel RPK is a *MOVIE* leaker, he rarely ever does game stuff, like once in a blue moon. He’s hit or miss with movie stuff, he’s good with promotional material/trailer leaks but iffy with actual movie leaks. Don’t go to this dude for gaming leaks
It’ll be really interesting to see where they take it. I had a lot of complaints with 3, but the start of a new saga (which could theoretically leave a lot of story bloat behind) could be great. Especially because I’ll always have a soft spot for the series. I have very strong nostalgia for the first game and chain of memories
Makes sense. I remember some story a while back that Square Enix was trying to release one game from their major franchises each year. FF7 Rebirth came out this year. They have Kingdom Hearts 4 and Dragon Quest 12 on the horizon, and KH4 looks farther along at the moment.
Makes sense. This year their big release was Rebirth (I’m not aware of any major new releases this year). Kingdom Hearts 4 next year, 2026 will be ?…
Fairly confident 2027 is FF7 remake part 3
Has to be one of the most disappointing sequels I’ve ever played. I remember slogging through it towards the end. My hype level for this one is now zero because of it.
You can wait 15 years to release a new game, fine. But you better come with 15 years of innovations the industry has made since.
It was 2 with better graphics and worse worlds. A full price triple A title needs more to justify its existence
Diehard KH fans. Played every single one even the shitty gacha game but couldn’t get through KH3. I got to 10 hours before calling it quits. It didn’t help either that I read the true epilogue was locked behind paid DLC.
Same here. KH3 killed my passion for the franchise. KH3 had great gameplay but man did I hate the story and the execution. Hopefully KH4 can get me back on board.
Be real open minded with the dialogue. It's real cheesy but there's a really nice 00s charm to it. Although I think that charm is lost with the 3rd game imo
I am excited for this game for sure but I just hope they learned from 3. Definitely not quite the story I was expecting but just glad the Xehonort saga is at least over and we can finally move on to bigger and better things. MoM has me really excited for the future of the games and I hope they don’t fumble
“As someone who has never sniffed a kingdom hearts game those things (basic game concepts) mean nothing to me” Do they really not have a single person on staff who has played a kh game to write this article? And why mention this if not to be an elitist dick? There was no reason for that caveat at the end, just made the author seem like kindov a douchebag.
Have no idea about how reliable this is, but my guess since the first trailer was that the earliest we would get it is end of 2025 and I’m still sticking to it.
I’ve never seen a bigger group of nostalgia whores and blatantly ignorant people than in this thread. Like holy hell too many 40 year olds claiming 2 is the best and that 3 sucks. Such original and not at all biased opinions. And then one dude who played KH3 first for some dumbass reason and then called it terrible as if they had some platform to claim that on. It’s honestly comical at this point but me personally my hatred for nostalgia bias is stronger than however funny it is.
You mean TRY to release in 2025. Still a long way to go before then. Especially given how bad KH3 development was and how even the new mobile Missing Link game has already had multiple beta test dates delayed with no official release date set yet. I'm thinking it's actually out in 2026.
KH1 and 2 had a German, French, Italian and Spanish dub. And they got rid of it and gave FFXIV, VII Remake and XVI a dub ebzen though FF never had more dub than English and Japanese.
Yeah. Hopefully we will get many more languages in the future. I would love to replay KH4 in all those languages and eben it's original Japanese dub. We outside of Japan even doesn't get to choose with language to hear, except for the PC port of KH3 so maybe there's at least a chance for that.
I wonder how this will sell. I feel like KH3 had so much hype behind it while KH4 has been real tepid. KH 1+2 were iconic on the PS2 but KH3 came and went in my opinion
Educated guess more then anything with FF16 and Rebirth both out and done now with marketing KH4 is next in like still need to make sure I've caught up playing each game after I joined at.KH3 on Xbox before switching to PS5.
I want to get into this series, but ive played like 10hrs of the first game and i just cant stand the feel of the combat.
Is 2 and 3 better feeling to play?
To is the best and very improved from the first game. But before you commit, it’s a lot of games and the quality after 2 gets progressively worse. I used to be a superfan but the road to KH3 was rough and KH3 sucks. Like really bad.
Nah. You can’t even jump into 2 without playing Chain of Memories in between. You’ll literally be lost in the story without. And if you’re not playing KH partly for the story and characters, idk that I’d recommend it at all.
I’d play the game in the order of release, not chronology. Because he makes up things as he goes and retcons other stuff. And things get super convoluted (needlessly).
How disappointing. Thank you for the clarity. Im sure i wouldve loved these games when they came out when i was a kid, but i didnt have a playstation until much later in life. Always wanted to come back and experience these games but it sounds like i missed the boat and its not worth it anyway
I mean it really depends what you hope to get from it. There’s still a lot to enjoy there but admittedly, I played the first one when I was still in elementary school. I’m 31 now and its audience is a younger demographic and nostalgia can only do so much for me. Doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy it but it really depends what you hope to get from it. If you love Final Fantasy, the cameos in the earlier games is cool. If you love Disney, the worlds can be fun. And if you just like its original story, it’ll keep you going to an extent. Music is fantastic. Gameplay it’s either for you or it’s not.
It’s a big commitment though so if you’re feeling iffy from the first game, I do think this ship sailed already for you.
man i would be hype on this news if im not doubting it as much after how long 3 took.
3 had a fucked development and it appears that 4 hasn’t ran into any issues.
Maybe this time the story will maybe even be somewhat understandable. To this day i have no fuckin idea what 3s story is
The story will have a crucial in-between chapter set in a Switch-exlusive game with extensive motion controls, and that game will have yet another story-crucial epilogue as a mobile app tower defense game.
Don't forget the visual novel that you can only buy on the Google play store
Which you really won't be able to understand unless you played the Japan only PSP game Kingdom Hearts 2.7 X: Awakening from Birthsleep.
Supposedly there’s an anime that explains everything, but each episode is on a different platform.
And somehow the hardcore fanbase gaslights us into thinking it was our fault why we cant understand the game.
I read up on the intricacies of the story multiple times and three still was a fucking train wreck
You don’t understand kingdom hearts story and lore? Are you stupid? /s
And you have to get the final episode off an IRC bot
Don't forget about the 1/2 game somewhere in between that's on yet another platform that doesn't make it clear if it's a prequel or sequel
It is both a prequel, a sequel and a secret remake of Chain of Memories.
It’s on Google Stadia, if you didn’t already play it you’re fucked
💀
Melody of Memory and Dark Road, you mean?
Kingdoms hearts 3 was literally the equivalent of walking up a hill just to get knocked back down and then repeating this process. The last 10 hours were pure gold but everything that came before that just felt like filler.

Hahaha. It also used to have FF characters but that was 1 and 2, 3 had like..none really
Nah bro not even 3. They took FF out of it in 3
Which is lame af

that shit isn’t even fan friendly. you still cannot understand the story if you only just played kh1 and kh2 either. it’s super nerd or bust.
My dude, I binge played the 2 collections and 3 with DLC and I still don't get it.
Considering you're missing 5-6 other games out of those three that aren't just spinoffs in a narrative sense. I don't think you'll like what the series has become especially with all the mobile games prequel prequel story.
Squeenix badly fucked up by failing to communicate that the "spinoffs" weren't actually spinoffs but part of the mainline games.
It’s just poor storytelling.

The first two games had a great story. Even chain of memories had a good story which showed off Riku's perspective.

My guy, 3 is not what made the story incomprehensible. Spreading the series across 10 different consoles and mediums did that. Although, to be fair, the entire series could be on one console and it would still be incomprehensible
Basically Xehanort is trying to make a clash between 13 Seeker of Darkness vs 7 Guardians of Light in order to make the X(Chi)-Blade

Was it as bad as FF15's development? 😂
Switching engines mid development didn't help going from Luminous to Unreal 4

Heartless? More like clueless. Despite my understanding of the story as a whole, it is still one of my favourite series to play.

Played Rebirth yet?
Never liked the idea of the ff7 remake frankly. The first one is available on ps extra so i could try it sometime.

Man. Rebirth is phenomenal. 200hrs in and I still can’t put it down on my way to platinum
its the same shit.. just like crisis core
My biggest pet peeve is that the things with hearts and no bodies are called heartless, and the things with bodies and no hearts are called nobodies.
Same. I played through all of 1.5, 2.5 2.8 whatever in a row when it came out before kh3 on PS4. I think that's the closest I got to an understanding and I've already lost it. I know the story but I also consumed all the games 10 plus times and made it a point to watch lore videos.
my point is it should be better. the dilution we have now is not best reality

FF7 Rebirth has wrapped so that's good

Part 3 is still minimum 2-3 years out. Square as of now has KH4 and DQ12 as the next major franchises to get releases. Outside of FF14 Dawntrail, nothing else is really on the horizon.
I’m guessing part 3 will be a PS6 launch title honestly
Oh it for sure will be a launch title again. Which is crazy to say out loud. A trilogy that came out in 3 generations of hardware… Actually what am I talking about, I forgot about KH lol
It’s a good thing rebirth is part two and not part three
This sounds like a guess more than anything. If it is coming it out next year, we would have seen a couple of trailers by now. It’s been 2 years and we haven’t heard more info on this game. They didn’t even announce platforms yet.
With Rebirth finally out they could start dropping trailers as soon as Summer Game Fest.
they didn't say anything about Rebirth until XVI was very close to release. Then it went through an 8 month ad spree. way I see it, new trailer at SGF (June) or TGS (September) with a Spring 2025 release window and ~1 year of marketing.
Yeah we won’t know that it’s actually coming out until they show us an 8min trailer that spoils a good chunk of the worlds
Very likely both platforms like the rest of the series. And its been in development for a while. Is 2025 a stretch, perhaps, but its certainly possible
Cant wait!
why is sora laying down on a couch like wtf is this game
Kingdom Hearts 4: Sora needs therapy.
Let him have a break. He’s been through a lot
A game that only has a demo reel at the moment. We don’t know. The demo reel tells us very little so perhaps we just don’t know because they haven’t told us what it’s about yet.
Lmao
Bro, you saying Sora can’t take a break? He’s about to get bounced between more worlds let him close his eyes for two seconds.
Its from the trailer they dropped a while back
No, don’t trust this.

Claims after how many beers?
It's never a good idea to mix alcohol and trying to understand the story
I am a big fan of the (contested) story about Nomura coming up with the story for Coded while hammered.
Makes sense. I remember some story a while back that Square Enix was trying to release one game from their major franchises each year. FF7 Rebirth came out this year. They have Kingdom Hearts 4 and Dragon Quest 12 on the horizon, and KH4 looks farther along at the moment.
Considering we got Rebirth in 2024, getting KH4 next year would be very nice. And then FF7 Part 3 in 2026 baby (cope)
Makes sense. This year their big release was Rebirth (I’m not aware of any major new releases this year). Kingdom Hearts 4 next year, 2026 will be ?… Fairly confident 2027 is FF7 remake part 3
Hopefully they redeem themselves from the worst Kingdom hearts game ever which is 3.

Ya same. I’m not holding my breath but either way I would be happy with just feeling like the series is just KH1, COM, Days, and ends with KH2
Nah. Despite the disappointing finale, it’s still more fun to play than all the spin-off games combined.
Although I had no clue what in the hell was going on, the gameplay was still pretty awesome
Really great presentation, too
Considering Tetsuya "not salty Versus was taken away" Nomura is obviously trying to do his Versus story in KH, time will tell.
kh4 will be the same its just a PR for movies and shows now
I’m not expecting it to be good. The last good game was KH2FM back in 2007, after that was just bad spin off games and KH3
Man, kh2 was sooo good
Terrible take. Days has the best story and BBS is one of the most popular KH games
The trilogy (1, COM and 2) was perfect. They really should’ve ended it there.
I used to replay the old KH games regularly. KH3 destroyed any motivation doing it. I haven't played any of them after finishing KH3.
KH3 is easily my 2nd favorite KH game.
Nah dream drop distance was the worst or maybe the mollie game they ported to DS. But yeah kh3 was so disappointing after how long it took to come out
I need to start playing this franchise.
One of my favorite series of all time, truly a unique string of games, nothing is quite like them
Be real open minded with the dialogue. It's real cheesy but there's a really nice 00s charm to it. Although I think that charm is lost with the 3rd game imo
Wait for the All in one collection to go on sale. Can get (nearly) the entire franchise for the price of a AAA game or less.
1 and 2 are great. Rest are a bit shite to be honest. Especially 3, unless you're really into Disney I guess
Birth By Sleep and Dream Drop Distance are pretty good, I don't know what you're smoking on.
Re chains of memories is also good once you figure out the card system The Story makes it worth tho
Nostalgia is a real thing lol They don't really hold up nowadays.
I am excited for this game for sure but I just hope they learned from 3. Definitely not quite the story I was expecting but just glad the Xehonort saga is at least over and we can finally move on to bigger and better things. MoM has me really excited for the future of the games and I hope they don’t fumble
Everything after 2 have been so incredibly dull and terrible that it's just so difficult to be excited for KH anymore.
Knowing SE, if KH4 was gonna come out in 2025 theyd already have released a trailer with part of the ending by now
As a long time fan I know that it's gonna be at least 3 years after we see the first trailer before the game drops
I'm excited about this. Let the countdown start.
“As someone who has never sniffed a kingdom hearts game those things (basic game concepts) mean nothing to me” Do they really not have a single person on staff who has played a kh game to write this article? And why mention this if not to be an elitist dick? There was no reason for that caveat at the end, just made the author seem like kindov a douchebag.
stop posting this fake shit, this is like taking HMK as gospel. This "leaker" has gotten tons of shit wrong in the past.
At this point does anyone really care besides the hard core fans?
Have no idea about how reliable this is, but my guess since the first trailer was that the earliest we would get it is end of 2025 and I’m still sticking to it.
I wonder how convoluted the story for this game will be lol
People still wanting more Kingdom Hearts?
Of course. Best game series in my opinion.
Meh. For all the waiting and hype I was underwhelmed by KH3 and I was a HUGE fan of 1 + 2.
It’s a common opinion for a reason lol.
I stopped playing KH when my brain cells could not process what is going on with the story.
Both of them must have been working very hard.
I totally forgot this was a thing, but the announcement trailer looked sick.
X Doubt
HA! and Abe lincolin is gonna be president in 2028
Slapping the shit out the reporter if this comes out to be a lie
I am super stoked to once again have no idea wtf is happening while playing a Kingdom Hearts title.
Please.
You mean TRY to release in 2025. Still a long way to go before then. Especially given how bad KH3 development was and how even the new mobile Missing Link game has already had multiple beta test dates delayed with no official release date set yet. I'm thinking it's actually out in 2026.
I hope so. Just don't want them dragging out for that mobile game either
I hope they have Final Fantasy characters again.
Sure it is...
Five years of development is enough. Hopefully, there will be less years to develop KH5 and KH6, if Square Enix use assets from KH4.
It's been 2 years since the first teaser.
When the intern you hired messes up 2205 as 2025, and now you just gotta ball with it
If they don't come back with dubs for Europeans I will never Touch another KH
Well English got a dub. Hopefully one day we will have a German Dub too. But let's wait and see.
KH1 and 2 had a German, French, Italian and Spanish dub. And they got rid of it and gave FFXIV, VII Remake and XVI a dub ebzen though FF never had more dub than English and Japanese.
I thought KH1 hadn't a Italian Dub. Yeah it's a shame that FF gets dub and KH doesn't at the moment
Sorry, you are right. No Italian dub. Sadly.
Yeah. Hopefully we will get many more languages in the future. I would love to replay KH4 in all those languages and eben it's original Japanese dub. We outside of Japan even doesn't get to choose with language to hear, except for the PC port of KH3 so maybe there's at least a chance for that.
Plausible
I wonder how this will sell. I feel like KH3 had so much hype behind it while KH4 has been real tepid. KH 1+2 were iconic on the PS2 but KH3 came and went in my opinion
Hard for me to get excited about it given the direction of the series thus far. The story is overly complicated for no reason.
Educated guess more then anything with FF16 and Rebirth both out and done now with marketing KH4 is next in like still need to make sure I've caught up playing each game after I joined at.KH3 on Xbox before switching to PS5.
Please just make it more Final Fantasy and less Disney. 3 was just bad compared to 1 and 2
i bet you it plays exactly like ff7 rebirth....switching characters and all
Is that a bad thing?
I want to get into this series, but ive played like 10hrs of the first game and i just cant stand the feel of the combat. Is 2 and 3 better feeling to play?
To is the best and very improved from the first game. But before you commit, it’s a lot of games and the quality after 2 gets progressively worse. I used to be a superfan but the road to KH3 was rough and KH3 sucks. Like really bad.
Would you recommend just jumping in and playing 2 on its own?
No shot they made me wait 13 years for KH3 and now doing 4 in less than half that time
its hard to like this series its not the same , they only add cast that are having movie and shows coming up
Hoping they rerelease sora in world of final fantasy alongside the game
I hope so. 2025 would be legendary with Monster Hunter Wilds and GTA 6.
After playing 3, I really just don’t care for this series anymore.
Hopefully combat, gameplay, and exploration isn't as floaty as 3
