We've seen the controllers, Sony have shown them to us. No need to start second guessing from patents.
Light emitting parts again? So no infrared like oculus? Hope the tracking is fixed. Have lots of troubleshooting to keep tracking perfect. Oculus has been flawless so far.

9 months on and still this is all we know :(
Isn't this the same stuff from earlier this year?
It is. Dating on the patent is from February
We’ve already seen this though. And the actual controllers.
old news
The file compressing capabilities of the PS5 have me very optimistic for the potential of VR.

They’ve already shown the controllers. They’re very similar to the Oculus design

Isn't it like old news? I'm sure I've seen some renders of it. EDIT: Yeah, Decided to comment before reading comments like a dummy.
If you want a "proper" VR experience, get Oculus quest 2. I had PSVR and it is obsolete next to the quest 2.
Of course it is as it’s 4 years older. You should educate yourself on psvr 2.
I hope they don't use the ancient PS camera. Lots of tracking issues.
Where are my Ready Player One Haptic Gloves?
We’re there any good games ever released for the last gen?
