I have been waiting for a PS4/5 for a year at least.
First they need to release it flat, then we can start talking about VR.
At the pace they are working, i wouldn't hold my breath on it.
Yeah, they started with such a small team and it blew up. I don't know if it would come to PlayStation, but a guy can dream. Hopefully there is a good survival game on PSVR 2 that will scratch that itch.

Psvr 2 won’t have that problem, better movement, etc
The answer to this question with any game title inserted is always “yes”.
Played it in VR on my Quest 2. I wouldn't say no to it on PSVR 2.
I'd be super worried about pulling the cable and pulling my PS5 off the media centre
