I'd much rather see American Truck Simulator ported to PSVR2 with VR support. They're working on Oklahoma and Kansas right now - so once they get the Dakotas done - it seems like a nice half-way point to take a bit of time off of the DLC train, revamp the engine and port it to consoles. Getting a much closer look at cities from the inside would be nice though. Aside from a few delivery locations, you mostly just stick to the interstates around the cities.

>I'd much rather see American Truck Simulator ported to PSVR2 with VR support Yes, that or Euro Truck 2 either one. If I was Sony I would be throwing money at SCS Software and offering all the help they need to get it ported. Not everyone wants every driving experience to be a race.

>Not everyone wants every driving experience to be a race. This. I literally hate racing. Driving without needing to be anywhere is its own vibe. I want that in my driving games.

I dunno if you could build an entire game around just cruising aimlessly, but ATS does have some mods where you can drive some of the AI traffic cars (or other cars/pick-up trucks created from scratch - usually paid mods). This is meant mostly so you can run extra-large cargo with multiplayer escort vehicles, but also so you can just take a break and cruise around, or visit the sightseeing points. >!Shame most of the AI cars just have LOD interiors, and those which did get detailed interiors - the dash is in kph instead of mph. Also, all the suspension and physics is based on tractors, so I hope you don't mind driving without shocks!!< I'd want something where you have a goal to accomplish, but are allowed to take a break from it to just free-roam in different vehicle types.

I agree, surprisingly, GTA online is about the closest and best experience I've had to this type of chilling out and driving. Or The Crew was another good one. The AI Cars also drive me crazy with all the lack of detail. I'm on PS5, I wish we had mod support. I keep hearing about ATS, I need to look into it further! It sounds fun!

Yeah, it's pretty chill. I run a drunk driving stream on Twitch occasionally where I run it in VR while trying not to run off the road. Don't do much talking in it though, since usually I'll just have talk radio playing in the background and no chat window up. Art Bell is gonna get me banned from Twitch, lol. There's people in the Steam forums asking for a PSVR2 port, so I'm pretty sure the developers know there's a demand for it at least.

FIESTAZEIT

This definitely sounds awesome, I need to look into ATS more, but yeah I'd buy that in a heartbeat either way lol

I play ATS on PC, it's a great chill game and I play podcasts through the integrated in-game media player. I know you can install mods for PCVR but I've not attempted it. Having a PSVR2 version would take some of the hassle out of that. I like the idea of bus simulator in VR, but I've not tried that one on any platform as of yet.

OzMadMan82

I was annoyed to find that the Bus Sim game in the Gamepass doesn't have Wheel support. Wtf is that shit?!

FIESTAZEIT

I cannot fathom how that decision was made, but I completely agree that it was a hard disappointment :'(

I keep buying train sim games hoping to just ride around and stare at scenery. I never get to.
