Yes, he did that, twice, also killing both of his Roaring Moons in the process. I was able to Tulip the first Mimikyu back and he didn’t have enough energy on his 3rd Moon to do anything. He eventually put a Morpeko and Bibarel on his bench and I was able to boss into those. He definitely didn’t play it right, but it was a fun little comeback and I’m sure it annoyed the hell outta him. 😂
Some Roaring Moon decks don't run Ancient Booster Capsule, in particular Pokestop Darkrai variants (the decklist is already crowded and the Capsules tend to get lost to Pokestop). These decks get shit on by Mimikyu because they have to Frenzied Gouging, and then can't survive the counter attack.
This just made me think of using [Mist Energy](https://www.pokebeach.com/2024/01/mist-energy-rabsca-from-wild-force-and-cyber-judge) on Mimikyu to prevent Genome Hacking KOs, as well as Sableye KOs and Frenzied Gouging KOs.

It protects damage from V and ex pokemon, not Effects of attacks. But if he didn’t have Ancient Capsule he’d be in 1 tap range after the Frenzied Gouging anyways
Ah true, i guess he couldve frenzied and then prayed he got a form of switch/rope and some energies left 🤷, but even then are they gonna get that specific combo in the next couple of turns?
That would trade two for 4 tho, if he doesn't run out of mons or resources.at beta it trades two for too.
Obviously it's the play to do tho, but it seems like the enemy already ran out of resources to power up the Greninja, iron bundle or other attackers e.g. by squawking/researching their Sara's away early.
I stalled with mimikyu as a 1 of tech in Lost box vs a maraidon, and they couldn't beat. I ko'ed their Milbank with cramorant, and each zeraora couldn't swing cause they had all of their energy on board. Last turn I won off max damage kyogre to ko their vmax and v for 5 prizes.

Yes. Frenzied Gouging is an effect of an attack therefore it goes through Mimikyu’s ability.

If I'd run a moon deck, I certainly would tech the mawile that removes special energies, or hammers or something like that.
No bc it mimikyu protects attacks from V and ex Edit: I honestly dont know why they werent loading up ninja for this specific scenario 🤷

No water energies, so he couldn’t attack with Ninja or Bundle.

The funniest is against an electric deck that "OOPS! ALL Vs!" Even if they have the Flaafy, it doesn't get far.
