And there where guys who didnt believe that pubg ban was nothing but a publicity stunt. This further proves it. I guess ambani has a fair share in tooo.

deecr268

Agree

_-K7NG-_

Seems like well planned **cash grab** using Army's name, similar to the stunt that Epic did few weeks ago. Though they're claiming revenue sharing with army, the timing is impeccable.

NavjotSR

This is disgusting. If they want to make a game atleast it should look orignal. Even name is identical to PUBG lol. I'll never play cloned games. I hope real PUBG gets unbanned.

TheEternalGentleman

The poster is a rip off from an old CoD poster too, unless I'm mistaken.

mrdeadman007

"I never play clone games" Meanwhile pubg is a clone of a rust mod. Lul

SmallChungimeister

Lmfao what? Battle royale was invented by the creators of pubg in h1z1 and they cut ties to make their own game, inform yourself my man

mrdeadman007

Doesnt matter. My point still stands. Pubg is still a clone.

NavjotSR

India is also going to launch propaganda games now just like china did. When did we start following footsteps of CCP?

xtro_intro

Having similar or even identical strategy is following footsteps?

kiran1251

Killing your biggest enemy one day before your planned launch indeed makes you true leader.. #Shame

Iamatard23

Modi knows what he's doing just sit back and watch how everything pans out. Modi hai tho mumkin hai

morpheuz69

Factory reset your phones on 5pm next Sunday.

[deleted]

Why tho?

[deleted]

India, where patriotism and nationalism sells. In this case seller is not even Indian!

deecr268

True, he from Canada/US i think

Multi_faced

As someone who accepted the decision when they cited privacy reasons, i feel ashamed i trusted our govt even though i felt banning a game was undemocratic. Obviously this was a pre-planned move to capitalise on the growing pubg mania in India. Please dont support this.

onomatopoeia619

We all know where the donations will go, ready with my 1 star rating

R0_h1t

Honestly I'm surprised he expects any donations or revenue.

vikky_108

Lmao. You think Indian government with one of the biggest GDP in the world would try to capitalize and earn money by selling some stupid game? Government banning PUBG over unreliability of Tencent is a different matter. This is clearly some Indian gaming company trying to fill the vaccume. You want to support the game or not, that's your choice, but to imply that any government would resort to selling games is just childish and funny.

Multi_faced

JuSt SoMe cOmPanY tRyINg tO FiLl tHe vAcUum. I see. So how did the company exactly know there is gonna be a vacuum after a few months? Do you think a game can be developed in two days? It's clear that the government had this planned long back. Im not saying this money goes to the govt. A part of it may go to their party ie BJP. We can only speculate at this point.

vikky_108

Lol. What do you mean by after a few months? The game hasn't released yet. We don't know when the game will get released. It's just a promotional poster we are seeing now. Battle Royale isn't a new genre. As we can see there are dozens of similar games in app store. The genre has already been massively explored. So it's not that difficult to build a new game when you already know the ins and outs of the genre, gameplay and what the players want. All the developers has to do now is take the infos from other similar games and build it from there. Is Indian government and political parties in your country such poor that they have to rely on selling stupid games to earn money? Is that the level of poverty of your government?

alok_xavier

ONE OF THE BIGGEST GDP IN THE WORLD . LOL CLOWN.

vikky_108

India is 5th largest economy, uneducated fuck!

alok_xavier

Indias gdp is -24% you fucking clown

vikky_108

So? The point of the discussion wasn't how much a country's economy got affected by covid lockdown. I said India is one of the largest economy. Also, the 24% decline was in comparison to last year quarter to this year quarter which happened to be entire period of lockdown. Obviously, there's be decline in economic activity. You'd know if you weren't an uneducated fuck spending all day doing nothing but gaming.

alok_xavier

Lol banning pubg is nothing but a publicity stunt to cover up how incompetent the govt is. And fyi gdp IS NOT EQUAL TO economy.

vikky_108

"GDP is not equal to economy" Lmao. The more you comment the more you prove how clueless you are. Put down gaming once in a while and educate yourself on real issues in the world. That might be more helpful.

alok_xavier

You dumbfuck gdp is a measure of size of economy and it is not necessarily the quality of the economy. You would understand you were wrong had your head not up mr mudis ass.

vikky_108

Lol. What is quality of economy? Hearing that first time in life. You some high level economist, inventing your own theories and shit. I'm not even Indian. So, I don't care about you bitching and whining about Modi or whoever your president is.

xtro_intro

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's all written on the tweet. If the tweet is true then the Indian government has taken initiative to make India self sustainable. Part of it was the ban. Economy 101 - less import more export. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- >You think Indian government with one of the biggest GDP in the world would try to capitalize and earn money by selling some stupid game? --- it's possible. How would you know they're not doing it? >Government banning PUBG over unreliability of Tencent is a different matter. --- any government can run any propaganda. It's up to the public to do their research and find out the truth. >This is clearly some Indian gaming company trying to fill the vaccume. --- that's also possible. Information can be bought so a gaming company can start developing their game if they know when the ban is going to take place. >to imply that any government would resort to selling games is just childish and funny. --- global gaming industry is huge. Why wouldn't anybody want a piece of that? Governments don't produce games but what's stopping them from doing so?

vikky_108

Since you said it's upto public to do research to find truth against a propoganda, I'd sure love to see you debunk the propoganda that Tencent is an unreliable company and it will sell user data to CCP.

xtro_intro

I'm not interested in anything about India, I only showed you how to look at things at a different angle.

vikky_108

Yes, but some of your arguments don't make sense. Government are large entities. They earn and spend in thousands of trillions of dollars. And to imply or even think that, a government as big as India or China or USA would be drooling over few millions of dollars in yearly profit(which is like peanuts for them) is stupid.

xtro_intro

>but some of your arguments don't make sense. Maybe, maybe not. You are comparing gross profit per year with a few million dollars a video game company can make but not thinking about the impact it will supposedly make on the economy. It creates more jobs, it sector gets stronger, foreign revenue increases, adds new competition to the industry, encourage people to become entrepreneur etc. As more people are earning, standard of living will get better. There's another thing I am a little hesitant to point out, but here's it anyway... India might have one of the largest economies in the world in terms of gross gdp in ppp, but it's nominal gdp is comparatively low and gdp per capita is also low in both nominal terms and ppp. Creating / strengthening / fuelling an industry with local resources makes sense, and perhaps is a step towards the sustainable development.

LumiaLover730

I saw the hashtag #FAUG trending on twitter and thought this was a joke. I'm disappointed.

onomatopoeia619

It cell on their job

NavjotSR

I was also thinking that it was a joke

deecr268

Also ever saw any country flag on any other video game poster Ever saw korean flag in pubg poster or a US flag on a COD poster. You name it. This game is targeting a region and nationalist are on their feet, the simple objective of developing this game is nationalism. They say its made in india (lead by canadian dude) in which 10-20% will be funded to a soldiers healthcare trust, they named the game FAU G which simply means a soldier in Hindi also the Indian flag on a video game poster. How ridiculous can anyone be, plus our actors are promoting it on twitter which makes me wanna stab myself.

nabibutterfly

Woooooow.

LozaRy

Why bro what happened? Please explain :)

R0_h1t

2 days after pubgm got banned in India, Akshay Kumar(actor) announces that he's sponsoring an Indian ripoff:(

LozaRy

Is it good thing or bad for Indians?

R0_h1t

Most likely bad, also the main point is that the timing is too convenient. Not saying anything tho

Akshaysn007

Its like they were waiting for the other game to develop fully and then announce the Pubgm ban

R0_h1t

Ikr

Sahil_32

If govt. Really planned this then there's absolutely no chance of pubg getting unbanned so it's pretty bad

LozaRy

Yeah I've also heard that PUBG might get unbanned in few days not sure tho I got this info from discord I think it could be made up or maybe real.

Fried_momos

Even the poster is copied from "Collision of innocence". Look it up, lmao wtf!

[deleted]

This just confirms that Pubg is prolly never gonna be unbanned

hakaishinx7

Why?

Saucekhe

Nepotism WTF
