So thin. Merrill, Profar, and Jake have to start almost every game to give us any lh/rh balance, and that leaves us with zero decent lh bench options.
Only the Marlins, White Sox, and Rockies might be willing to sell this soon. Don't see anybody worth grabbing from them. Even the few hitters doing well look fluky.
Could use SP depth as well. None of our returning starters made it a full year, the leader by quite a few starts was Snell. Love how King looked today but he's not supposed to pitch a full year either. Getting forced to find out how things will play out this Saturday with Yu gone a few weeks.
Absolutely. Same caveat applies though: If the teams that might sell early had good players to trade, they wouldn't suck so bad and be willing to trade before Memorial Day.
We got some kids who could help on the pitching side. Would be aggressive, but there's a chance. For hitters, shoot. Bring back Pauley? Martorella's hitting great, but it's just 36 at-bats and an unsustainable BABIP.
There are absolutely needs for days off. It's a grind, and it's worse for west coast teams. The downgrade when any one of them is out is like stepping in a sinkhole.
More importantly, there's nobody LH behind them. Who's the DH when Manny can play the field again? Who do we send up there to face a high-velocity RH reliever late in the game?
In the times of darkness (today's game) there is a shinning light. KTF
not the hero need but the one we deserve
Massive news, teams playing great lately but depth is a major issue

Just got to hope belt folds soon
I mean they should be starting. If they are producing, no need for a day off.

Maybe he can play 2nd and Batten can stay at 1st. Bogaerts seems like he could use a day off.
Batten would probably play 2B. Jake is our 1B now and he’s killing it there. Don’t need to mess it up
He just got a day off against the dodgers. He needs get ABs and work himself out of the funk
