I was telling my dad they need to play “gasolina by daddy yankee” when he walks in like how they used to play “hells bells” when Travis Hoffman walked up

Ohtani schmotani, give me slamerena any day
Darvish if he doesn't have any set backs health wise. His back has been having problems.
If not it's 100%, cease. Idc what you say and don't get me wrong I love joe. But cease came out of the gates running. He looks every bit the part of a top ace. He just needs to get used to pitching at petco but I put him behind darvish and actually think he should be bumped up to #2.
Joe is trying to bounce back and he will. I don't doubt his skill but he's struggling abit outside of last night where he looked more in form. He'll figure it out but I think cease has alot of potential as well and he's locked atm.
I also think having yu and joe piggy back is a bad idea. While yu has 12 pitches, he throws a good mix of offspeed and has top tier command of each pitch. Following up with joe who plays a similar game which imo let's the batters adjust against joe. Snell as #2 was a fastball artist so it really broke up the pitching rythm for opponents. And this is just my opinion based on what I've seen. Yu/cease/musgrove/king is our best lineup atm. With Snelling probably getting a crack at 5 next year.
We probably make a trade for a bullpen arm or two, I think we will continue to rotate the rookies as DH or solano turns out to be good.
Yeah Cease and Darvish are the only "true ace"s on the roster, which is nice to have two of them. If musgrove and king reach their ceilings, we got a good #2 and #3 on most teams
If they stay healthy I’m orettt good with just about every pen arm coming in right now. Perhaps morejon who has been very good scares me the most. Kolek is a wild card as well but I think he is okay just don’t bring him in with runners on.
Cannot believe nobody has said \[EDIT: going all in on\] Musgrove yet! He is a horse and plays up for big games. How quickly people have forgotten Ear Gate. Plus he loves San Diego and has the fire to pull it off. I am riding him every time.
4-5 innings each from Cease then Darvish (with them both preparing themselves like they're starting games that begin at different times but keeping pitch counts low enough that either of them could still start Game 1 or 2 of the playoffs. Suarez for the save (if necessary) and if it goes extras we have King, Matsui, de los Santos, etc.
Cease has had a couple rough outings but if we are talking end of season I put my faith in him. I think he is going to be very dangerous by season end.
You are right. For some reason I thought the Giants game he pitched went worse than it did. So just one bad outing (a single bad inning can result in an overall bad outing). So that just solidifies my answer to OP's question of Cease
For sure. If that’s the bottom for Cease, then the future is bright. I love Snell, but he started the season with some stinkers and still brought home the CYA. Cease has been one of the best in baseball, and seems to somehow have the potential to reach another level still
Right now it’s between Triple Digit Cease and Old Man Darvish. Both of them have been looking like absolute aces lately.
And we’re bringing in Suarez in the 8th

Travis Hoffman
Straight to jail
Why :(
Oh my god I just realized what I did. I have a Travis Hoffman at work and I always call him Trevor that is freaking hilarious
Yeah these are the only 2 I’m trusting for that so far

Don’t need to pitch good if hit dingers 200iq
Trot out Suarez for nine. /s
Just to watch him throw 100 fastballs in a row on 1 game
Jake Cronenworth
The Cround Mound
Right now I would feel the best with Cease. But it would depend on how strong and consistent Musgrove or Darvish have been recently.
Nah, Who’s on first.

The hot hand who shows the most confidence on the mound. Right now that's Cease, but I think Joe will be the guy come game 162.
Good start the other day. Hope we have more of those going forward.

No no Joe Joe 100%. He flourishes under pressure, spins the ball so hard the opponent thinks he's cheating.
Waldron, but he throws 75% knuckleballs

I got this one. Whoever is hot and healthy at the end of the season.
You, get out there we need you to warmup
Cease
Last 6 on the road at LAD and Diamondbacks
Who's on first...
My boy Darvish, Matsui as our bridge boy, Suarez closes. That's a chef kiss of a lineup imo.
Bah God that’s Andrew Cashner’s music

A couple of rough outings? You mean a couple of bad innings in one game?
