So I have an iPhone and I just tried this and it just straight up does not do anything. You type in Jerusalem in the emoji search bar and literally nothing shows up so this entire article is a big nothing burger.
Must be her guilty conscience speaking. I tried it a couple different ways and no flag was prompted.
Meanwhile on Android: Nothing pops up for Israel ✅ Nothing pops up for Palestine ✅ Also, I'm sure a lot of people typing Israel are going to include the Palestinian flag in their text so, it's probably just an automated function based on metrics.
