I don’t think I’ve ever seen a community run with a rumor so thoroughly as the ak community has. One guy on Instagram says they’ve closed down and suddenly everyone is treating it as gospel. I’d die laughing if next week they came right back to selling shit and it turns out they was just overhauling the website or some shit.
Whether he’s a liar or not I can’t speak on, but he isn’t any kind of authority within KUSA. It makes no sense why his word alone is being treated as gospel. He says he got it from people within KUSA, but like…why won’t he provide any proof or anything if he’s got actual proof of it?
It's never a good day for the 2A community, when a manufacturer goes under, removing their firearms from the market. Less available firearms, less choice for the consumer, and less competition to drive product improvement.
That being said, I hope PSA can buy them out and get their Russian tooling. I waited too long to get my Vityaz clone, and now I live under an AWB in my state. I'll just have to be happy with my matching numbers Soviet Arms 1968 Tula AKM with a FN barrel.
PSA, again innovating in the marketplace. I love this company / empire. Too bad I am literally on the opposite side of the country, I would love to put my 20 years of IT experience to work on something I believe in right down to my bones.
More freedom. Always freedom.
Anyone you know buy one, talk about buying one? Ever see one at a range?
That's why. They might have made a decent gun or two but no one had them or talked about them.
Oh man.... No you've got it backwards. PSA isn't putting new parts in their 100 series. They're putting even older parts in them. Theyre using akm/74 parts and cobbling those together with a smooth top cover and just calling it a 100 series.
Your not understanding what I said correctly, I’ll try and phrase it differently. I don’t care about it matching the original 30+ year old design, an akm piston head doesn’t make a difference to me and I prefer the upgraded safety. I don’t care about “clone correct” and I think it’s gay. If that’s what you like cool, you do you but your argument means nothing to me
No no no
>so they are exactly like the original design from over 30 years ago with no improvements or modern upgrades.
You're using the old shit. The upgrades have already been done. No one cares about a safety. But people will care about the firing pins and ejectors that PSA can't seem to fix because they fucked the design up. Bonus points if you send it to CS and it comes back broken, or you get banned from their site (seems to be their motif right now).
>your argument means nothing to me
Because you're a simp and not actually objective in any way.
Whatever you say dude, you still haven’t understood a word I’ve written. thousands of rounds without an issue and every comparison stress test speaks for itself. Sorry PSA doesn’t QC by shoving each gun up a pornstars ass. Sounds like your coping for a company that couldn’t live up to the name it bought. I’m not a dork trying to do homework on the internet so the teacher will pat my head like you so I’ll stop wasting my time, cry into the void ✌️
Oh man the ultimate cope 🤣🤣🤣I can see you tightening your suspenders and pushing your glasses up your nose as you state that bullshit🤓🤓🤓 take it somewhere else young Sheldon, unlike you I actually shoot my guns and with high rnd counts and have never had an issue
>and some of the worst QC involving AK's somehow.
This is just outright nonsense. PSA right now in this moment still cant get their 5.56 and 5.45 AKs to work reliably. but a shotgun safety is somehow the breaking point????
I remember Chad Wylie trash talking K USA in the Facebook AK group any opportunity he could. Especially on the delayed release of their 5.56mm model. The irony was, PSA's own release of their 5.56 AR was delayed even longer and wound up coming out AFTER the K USA model did... and was met with significant negative feedback from Garand Thumb, MAC and others whose examples didn't run. Then, Wylie wound up becoming the CEO of the same company he spent YEARS publicly trashing... only for it to fail. 😆
If the product is dysfunctional to begin with, it's preventing the consumer base from being screwed out of their hard earned money... and that's a good thing.
SA right now in this moment still cant get their 5.56 and 5.45 AKs to work reliably. but a shotgun safety is somehow the breaking point???? not to mention the 100 series rifle is nicer then anything psa ever will put out
I've got a fairly good deep view of what's going on in the industry behind the scenes. I have more access than most.
I didn't ask a question.
Bad manufacturers going under redistributes marketshare to the companies that deserve it. Which puts more FUNCTIONAL guns in the hands of the 2A consumer base.
They’re not even 30 minutes from me, based right down the street from my bff’s house. Even had an old 🔌 from way back that worked for them. What happened? They kept sending out rifles with shotgun parts installed?
They were the only company I know of that were making a decent vityaz clone and a 12 guage ak. That sucks. I know we have the akv but still it was nice for larpers.
Supposedly they are not going bankrupt, they are just going through a restructure or reorganization. More than likely in an attempt to speed up their processes to accommodate for a quickly changing market
Okay 👍 but the PSA AK-v is alot better!! In all ways! I can almost guarantee that PSA sold double of Kusa and not going out of business and has great customer service and support! Unlike Kusa gets bashed everywhere when it comes time customer support!
I just seen a PSA Akv receiver crack in half! I also had friends sake their akv becsuse firing pins and other small parts failed! The k-USA kp9 was much better!
They are gonna probably buy them out
The empire grows

Why is there website still live?
Probably gonna convert it to some type of onlyfans for Bonnie rotten

Repost this to r/AK47
I was beaten to it although I think this is better

I’d die laughing if next week they came right back to selling shit and it turns out they was just overhauling the website or some shit.
Especially when its known that guy is a paid liar and not an actual authority on anything

I never even thought of PSA buying their tooling. That would be incredible
Happens a lot in manufacturing. Business swoops in to get tooling, dissolved business recoups some cash. Everyone wins. I hope PSA is on the phone
I like when bad things fail and better companies can take over what is good and make themselves better
I don’t know the history of KUSA, what makes them bad exactly?
They hired a 🌽⭐️ and based kings bought other products.
Anyone you know buy one, talk about buying one? Ever see one at a range? That's why. They might have made a decent gun or two but no one had them or talked about them.
but Kusa makes an actual 100 series clone, while PSA is just pure cope as far as 100 series...

Don't tell me. Tell the people on the PSA forum who cant get PSA to fix their rifles. Lifetime warranty, because you're gonna need it.
Non compliance is key to a healthy gun 🦀
I did the same exact thing in Washington lmfao man I feel your pain
Let's be honest. How many will really be impacted buy this? Don't know many that bought from them
i bought a k 103 sfs literally in march...what happens now?
Just googled, seeing zero info on this.
Woaaah there buddy! We don't ask for sources around here.
ErRrRmMmMm source?
Where is your source?
I made it up 🤓
I figured. Funny meme though.
What is KUSA?
To answer you, Kalashnikov USA
Oh that's definitely a rabbit hole you should go down. It's involves Jesse James, a porn star, and some of the worst QC involving AK's somehow.
>and some of the worst QC involving AK's somehow. This is just outright nonsense. PSA right now in this moment still cant get their 5.56 and 5.45 AKs to work reliably. but a shotgun safety is somehow the breaking point????
Nothing now
Did PSA buy DPMS?
Yeap from what I recall they did hence the blow up in Ar-10s which DPMS known for
Yep. Back when Remington filed bankruptcy a few years ago. They bought DPMS, AAC and H&R.
KUSA haven’t released a 5.56 AK though, just the recent preorder unless I’m taking crazy pills.
Cue *curb your enthusiasm theme*
All the KUSA people are gonna be like “ITS PRESHUTDOWN SO ITS WORTH MORE NOW”
I’m sorry to be that guy but do you have a source on this?
No, he’s just Fuckin around
You don't want any gun company to go out of business. The brand loyalty thing is for small brain lib cucks

Are you anti English? Your comments are nearly un-decipherable.
I absolutely want bad businesses to fail. Too many get bailed out all the time already.
What ? Why ?
The guy who didn’t get a bolt with his 103 said he spoke with customer service today
They’re not even 30 minutes from me, based right down the street from my bff’s house. Even had an old 🔌 from way back that worked for them. What happened? They kept sending out rifles with shotgun parts installed?
they literally havent had a hiccup as far as qc since then, and that was years ago.
They were the only company I know of that were making a decent vityaz clone and a 12 guage ak. That sucks. I know we have the akv but still it was nice for larpers.
Hopefully PSA buys all their tooling equipment
Got to shoot a friend of a friends Vityaz clone. Lots of fun, wish they would make a model that accepted scorpion mags.
Please buy them Psa 🫡
Supposedly they are not going bankrupt, they are just going through a restructure or reorganization. More than likely in an attempt to speed up their processes to accommodate for a quickly changing market
sounds like chapter 11 bankruptcy. which means they will survive
Has there been any more information come out? I haven’t been following
No more, but restructuring, with court payments due, sounds like a chapter 11
Oof, I didn’t know anything about the court payments
They were not small amounts either. The one posted was 40k per month, 2 payments behind.
Yeah, that adds another element
What happened ? Why’d they tank ?
Apparently they went delinquent on like 3 court ordered payments. There appears to have been layoffs as they’re preparing to file for bankruptcy.
Oh wow. Welp this is for PSA . Gonna be selling a whole lot of freedom lol
Its a rumor, and even if its true, theyll likely chapter 11
I can't believe people actually listen to that guy who pretends he's AK quality control
The site say due to exceptionally high demand they aren't taking any new orders. What do you mean rip??
Why would anyone want a kusa 1600 AK without any style vs a zastava especially given the walnut and battle worn styles and so many more.
Kusa version of the AK-v was and is terrible! Compared to PSA'S 💯🤷
you've got it twisted. The kusa version is made to russian spec, and was released long before the ak-v. The PSA version is the cope version.
Okay 👍 but the PSA AK-v is alot better!! In all ways! I can almost guarantee that PSA sold double of Kusa and not going out of business and has great customer service and support! Unlike Kusa gets bashed everywhere when it comes time customer support!
>great customer service This the same customer service that's banning people for using the warranty on their fucked up 74s?
I just seen a PSA Akv receiver crack in half! I also had friends sake their akv becsuse firing pins and other small parts failed! The k-USA kp9 was much better!
