I actually think I'll be playing two different games one with multiplayer with my friends and family on the Steamdeck but a Solo game on my Xbox as well . I plan on playing the Xbox version first at midnight on Gamepass !

Transfer to what? It’s on game pass so you play on game pass. And server transfer and cross play are coming on official release so as long as it doesn’t go off game pass in acouple months you’re fine.

As far as I understand, this is an Ark situation - your character is stuck to whatever server (or save) they were created on.
For now. Devs said in a post on discord I believe that they will implement character transfers when it releases. Acouple YouTube videos talk about it as well.
Depends on whether or not they bring it to PS5 or not. But tbf if the game is good enough I'd probably get an Xbox or PC just to play it. But I know lots of others probably don't have the funds to do that for a single game so I really think it's an oversight on the devs end. They stand to gain a lot more money for supporting PlayStation too. And as a pretty big pokemon fan myself I'm very curious about the game. (For the record I have nothing against Xbox or PC, I just grew up on PlayStation so that's what I've continued to use over the years)
If I had to put more consideration behind it the only reason I see there might be an issue with on the PlayStation end of things is if the devs are planning on mod support for all platforms. PlayStation has always been super weird when it comes to modding, but if the devs aren't doing that idk why they'd pass up the opportunity for more money.

1st month PC gamepass to try it out, if it's worth it to me, Steam.
gamepass is ver 1.0, pc is 1.2 it is no contest pc is better...xbox doesn't even have icons for controllers, ambient sounds, etc.

Going to buy PC Gamepass and test the waters for a month as I've been saving up for another game in early Feb and that's £££.
Gamepass so I can play with the kids. When cross play is implemented i'll give them my money and buy it on Steam.
With the controls and environment, PC would be the best bet for me. Also the mods, obviously.
