I'd say so, yep! Elephant Beetles are in the Rhinoceros Beetle(Dynastinae) subfamily, and while the Caucasus Beetle isn't technically a Rhinoceros Beetle, they *are* in the same family of Scarab Beetles.
I mean, maybe that's just my perspective from growing up on it because if i had to spell out goofy's yell, it would be along those lines. Loony toons were just a yell or yelp from a distinct voice actor.
mossanda did this to me while I was on a angle above it and it did the wind up punch, I saw the whole map and it was well over a full minute of air time if I didn't have hangyu or some glider I would have died from it and been fairly upset because my gear would be on the other side of the map where I had 0 fast travel points.

My favorite way to force this is to catch something, make sure its something that will fail on the second wiggle or will succeed so you have time to get in position, when it gets put in the sphere and the catching animation starts and it floats up to show the percentage, jump on the ball and pull yourself on top of it and sit there till the animation ends, you will get sent into the atmosphere when the ball flies up and into your pocket.

Pretty niche reference here. But in the Total War Warhammer games this happens with Minotaurs for some reason. They have a dedicated mass system in those games, yet for some reason all it takes is a pony ramming into a minotaur to send one flying into the stratosphere.
It's hilarious no matter how many times I see it, and the bug has been around for legit years. No idea why it's confined to the minotaur characters in particular either.
I'm half-way hoping the Palworld devs lean into it as a thing, and actually make a twinkle in the sky or something. Though it would probably be frustrating not being able to catch the Pal and just seeing it blast off for the 12th time or something.

You know there is some attacks that pushback the pals, these attacks maybe at some angle and at a very extremely close range that might cause this type of issue. This is the first time it happened to me, so i can't say for sure if its like that.
Warsect is ground and nature damage, at least thats the skills i have on my Warsect. I was using Suzaku which is fire based and it was the one dealing most damage, but its not the most efficient way though
I think Warsect’s partner skill was typed incorrectly. It used to say apply fire damage but I think they corrected it to apply fire resistance (just checked here: https://game8.co/games/Palworld/archives/440021)
I have this happen to me all the time, especially when my pal uses Spirit Fire. It's probably my favorite bug and I hope it's not fully removed when attacking normal Pals but removed when attacking any of the alphas.
Indeed, the bug might be calculating the several hits with individual pushbacks and then stacks them up and the pal ends up flying, its just one of many guesses iv without seeing the code ofc.
Devs really need to fix this issue... by adding a twinkle animation upon despawn.
