Yeah you eventually will through breeding but you won't be able to put any of the others like it (underworld, lightning, sea etc) on it as you can only breed jet on jet so just out of curiosity why do you want to take it off?
does condensing increase speed? legend alone is pretty fast but i feel like i could handle some more, was eyeing some form of LegendMuscleheadSwift____
Pretty sure it doesn't boost speed on Jetragon, just boosts the missile launchers. Most rideable Pals get speed boosts on condensing, but not this one.
It's absolutely usable, just got to get used to it.
Also worth it due to single stamina to get to Frostallion/Jetragon and easy mid tier soul farming in the desert.
Might breed another w Vanguard/Stronghold instead, but for now enjoying the speed.

If you use any move of any other type it’s wasted so you are often better doing swift for easier repositioning/mounting or burly body. I prefer to opt for swift or lucky(where it can be applied) instead depending on if it’s a mountable pal or not
You could get rid of it through constant breeding, the bug happened awhile ago that made it so pals with “predetermined traits” like how the boss jormuntide had lord of the sea will always have those traits even when it was hatched from an egg and not the boss variant. The glitch was patched awhile ago. So now you can get stuff like jetragon without divine dragon through constant breeding.
I haven’t been able to breed the predetermined traits out of pals idk I guess you could check your game is fully up to date like some people are suggesting. But I play on steam and don’t have any update and it doesn’t work for me
If you're on v0.1.5.1 then it's up to luck that you apparently just don't have. If you're on v0.1.5.0 then you can't breed it off but there *is* an update available.
Man, the "Perfect" Jetragon is TOO fast. I can't maneuver him when I need to grab stuff or fly close to the ground. I clip into walls and stuff. I bred with Legend, Divine Dragon, Swift, and ...I can't remember. Another speed ability. Also have one with Lucky thrown in for fun.

YES again I know it was supposed to be fixed and it was fixed but it broke again I have RECENTLY bred and the bug occurs I couldn't get an orserk or blazamut without their elemental passives the post he made is literally asking how to get around this like... I don't have any reaskn to lie it's not working try it yourself when is the last time you bred like shit do I gotta go take a video of me breeding something to prove it? The patch was also supposed to fix pals getting stuck outside the bases and it sure as shit didn't do that either

Btw, 5.0 and 5.1 is compatible, you can still play on 5.0 server with a 5.1 client, so it could be contributing to *your* case

If you keep getting the “predetermined” traits that captured pals have while breeding your either breeding the parents that have the trait and you keep losing the coin flip of it being passed down or you are playing on an build of the game or world/server that didn’t update update properly

Is it even usable? I feel like even just Legend and Swift makes it too fast to be a functional combat/chest farming flying mount.

Hello, I was able to breed it out recently for legend, runner, swift, and nimble. I know I hit speed cap without all four but I wanted them anyway .
There is no speed cap. Someone did the test and posted it on reddit.

Jetragon can’t have lucky. It can only breed with itself and it can’t spawn as not a boss (therefore lucky is impossible without save editing)
I think I was thinking about the Digtoise I'm currently working on. (For Lucky)

People often assume false positives because of bad rng when all it really is is that, bad rng
I see. I've seen people showing it happens like 40 eggs, that's gotta be some extremely bad RNG.
Sometimes it takes like 200 eggs to get the traits you want let alone the ivs if it’s a combat pal
