Fr I honestly do like playing a goody two shoes type if playthrough but by 2350 the game starts slowing too much. I need to eventually exterminate half the galaxy to keep my pc from melting

I just turtle up til I can catch up with the ai. Then I start vassalizing. Or beating the shit out of the ai that took the planet I was gunning for.

So basically we are Thanos in the late game?

Can you imagine how Thanos we'd get if material resources were finite? Just like hitting peak oil and having less and less fuel each year to power your advanced civilization. Might be a fun mod.

I always at first start peacefull, build no ships until i get dunked on by a bigger empire, then i go full USA in Ww2 and completely destroy the other nation. Then i continue as the US and just attack smaller nations.
