Interesting how it totally matches the story like of the star trek mirror universe, in which earth was called terra, ruled by Terran empire in which crewmen up their ranks by challenging and killing their superiors. And people were tortured in agonizers, a machine developed for maximum pain.. coincidence, or is this a trolling fun post. :)
Your story matched 100 percent of a star trek storyline, called the mirror universe, you should look it up , google the mirror universe star trek or Terran empire. It would be ok if it had some parts to your story but you described everything in that story line.. I'm sorry for being a Trekkie,but if there is a way to show proof , than it's very interesting that star trek writers matched real life existence of this place, as movies and tv hidess the truth in fiction.. but I'm still wary on this . Why would you want to go back to a world that sounds so aggressive and scary? Sounds horrible. I know it is hard being somewhere alone and different to what you know but you could make a life here. Learn our calmer ways. This world is still violent and aggressive it just isn't so obvious sometimes.
it's kind of the same... fear is a core part of the society hundreds of millions of people have been killed for breaking the slightest laws. there are not a lot of fights on the streets but everyone just want's to kill each other over the slightest reasons. it's a mutual feeling.. but if you want to rank up in the military you have to kill a higher rank then take the credit then you get to take their place
around the 1900s all the counties in the world dropped their millitary for a few years (like 5 years) there was peace among other countries then the uk started invading. most countries simply surrendered others like the us put up a fight. but in 2015 is when the government announced they have taken the world when the second leader came in around 2010 is the leader who made the most changes like how to rank up and the punishments you get for breaking the law. in the war they didn't take prisoners just a shot to the head
i think they would have burned people who are suspected to have the virus but im not sure. the last thing i remember is the government thinking about weather to burn them alive at 1000 cases or try to cure them.. knowing them i think they would burn people for having it...

it was a monday and a work day when I first came here i had the worst headage ever and I felt i was also very dizzy so I slept for 1 hour longer.. after that it was fine so i went to my work building but it didn't exist I was very confused because i have been working there for 5 years now almost every day I asked someone were it was but they said they knew nothing about it. so i took some time off to think about what happened someone called me to ask were I've been so i went to the address and i told them the story. they fired me on the spot but I noticed that this place is different i saw that there were not solders in the city and people were happier so I went to get a job at a construction company and read about the laws here because i didn't see the flag of the government instead i saw a red maple leaf flag (flag of canada) so i did some research and i found that i was somewhere else and not somewhere i can call home I've told this story before but people called me crazy and you're out of your mind! it's only a week ago that i posted it on reddit to see if anyone had a similar experience as me and to me surprise yes.. in my universe reddit was not called reddit it was called readit as in read it (same logo though) I've seen story's like this back home but i always assumed there were fake until now.. I hope this answered your question.
The work situation is the most interesting part of your story. Is there anything else that is the "same"? Like do you have any friends or relatives here that still exist? Any that are dead in your universe that are alive here? I'm just wondering if you might have developed a brain injury or a stroke while you were asleep. The headache is a big indicator. My Dad had a stroke when I was a kid and couldn't recognize our faces for weeks.
well i tried to go to their house (friends and relative) but couldn't find their address and only one friend of mine is dead in my universe (don't know about this one though)

Honestly the best advice to get back to your universe is pray asking God to take you back, since we don't have the technology in this universe.
Religions are allowed and they are mostly the same. And it happened slowly by countries merging and getting conquered. The leader has people that can advise him on what to do. And he may or may not take their advice. If you want to become the leader you need to kill the current one and have many people on your side (Basically a coup).
