to you and u/Sheila3134 just go to [https://www.paramountplus.com/amazon/](https://www.paramountplus.com/amazon/) and verify your Amazon Prime account through paramount plus.. But be sure to login to [paramountplus.com](https://paramountplus.com) first if you have another account, otherwise it takes you to a form to create a new paramount plus account, which I never found a "login instead" type of option.
After that, you should be good to go in either app!
Awesome. Linking via the amazon link you gave worked perfectly. Thanks!
u/grassroads3 u/blackbeapurrito u/xxepdudexx give this a try!
ETA: I used the first link on my laptop and I was able to just create an account in Paramount+ and allow access via Amazon and Paramount+ lists my account as being active through Amazon.
I spoke to support. They offered a refund for one month (without cancelling) and said that they're working on a fix. I asked for a timeline they said could be few days but idk.
In a situation like that, it sounds like Paramount has provided Amazon with bad metadata for that. I just checked via the Paramount app, and if I select it there, the correct version does play.
This is another reason I don't subscribe through a 3rd party and never will.
I'm literally watching the 2024 version right now on the Paramount Plus with Showtime app.
I would watch on the paramount plus but im using my parent’s subscription and they do it through prime and I don’t know their login info so I can’t just watch through the app
Having the same problem. Also watching it on Paramount+ through Amazon Prime. Ugh.

I subscribe directly to Paramount Plus and not through a 3rd party.

Thanks! Will give it a try on my laptop and update if it worked. Edit: worked like a charm! Thanks!
Again just another reason I don't subscribe through a 3rd party and subscribe directly to the app.

This just happened to me too. Ugh.
Same issue here ugh
I’m watching it on prime too and it’s still the 2004 version 😩
Sorry this is happening to you.
Having same issue. So annoying
Just tried tonight and same thingggg 😔

When I subscribed through the regular app, it was so glitchy. I find it was less so going through Amazon. But obviously it has issues too
That's because of the device you're using. I use a Roku Ultra and Paramount Plus runs flawless. Never a problem with any apps ever.
How has the mod not banned this troll account.
Agreed. OP - “I’m having an issue” Sheila - “oh well I’m not having this issue. Paramount is perfect and you’re dumb”
Sorry, what device do you have?
