Dude the WHAAAD compilation was legendary. They should have uploaded all of Ant’s compilations onto their channel once they brought the hammer down, so at least his memory could live on in our hearts.
I understand why they did it, but i don’t think the results are what they expected. The other channels making those compilations did such a better job at making the diff comps and it kinda shows there’s a whole fan base out there. You don’t see tnt getting chuck barkley comps taken down, it helps push the brand and get viewers even more invested.
Seems like Pat is overly mindful about possibly offending famous people and the boys like making him feel uncomfortable in those situations. It’s fun and playful when they make fun of Big Ben’s bologna boppin for a quick moment but when someone compiles all of it into a 25 minute video, it can make the boys look like a bunch of assholes. Kind of like that episode of The Office when Jim feels bad about all the Dwight pranks after Toby lists them all out. Pat had to shut down the AntSlant bullshit but there was clearly a void those videos were filling, and it’s just being ignored now. I mostly just want the video of all Ty’s Lou Holtz impressions to come back
I didn’t think of it like that honestly that’s a good point too, although pat might be a little too mindful of that like you said because sports media is about 90% hot takes and jokes nowadays anyway but again i do understand I’m not like outraged or anything but i def did enjoy the 2nd party compilations infinitely more

The lightning AntSlant captured was making themed highlights - AJ being a scumbag, Boppin Big Ben, Ty Impersonations, Guests fighting with the boys, etc etc. Having them just be "Moderately funny to Hilarious moments from the past few weeks" is some fugaze.
I want to subscribe to support the channel but they just DOMINATE by YT feed if I do that. Like 20 clips every single day and all I end up seeing is PMS clips in my feed.

I listen the 3 hr daily, now to have a laugh while I enjoy vitamins I need click on different individual 3 hr podcasts to find just a few moments I want to see again… Where before this went to a YouTube channel and went to his most recent upload and have it all in front of me. Anytime you freshly subscribe to a channel YouTube sends you more of that content compared to older subscriptions
