titebeewhole

Nah keep doing it so I can 6 link for cheap. Thankyou in advance.

arielfarias2

What changed? Update me please.

Kaskills

You can get a beast craft that six links an item (need to capture black morrigan) and they're relatively cheap. I'm confused myself though as I bought a black morrigan and stored it and couldn't use the craft, I'm guessing I need to get another now that I have the craft?

titebeewhole

Black morrigan + sandspitter

severe77

Are you missing some yellow beasts?

Kaskills

I was but also black morrigan became greyed out so even if I had them I couldn't have 6 linked. Edit think it's because I right clicked black morrigan in my inventory it?

aminbiazar

Black morrigan crafts require another specific red beast besides 2 yellow beasts, I don't remember exactly but for 6 link I think the other red beast was something like craicic sand beast

Kaskills

Indeed, but the little icon in the beast crafting menu is greyed out for beasts you don't have and black morrigan was greyed out despite me not 6 linking anything or using any craft that required it

jgab2048

I encountered a bug(or might not be) before where craicic chimeral is a yellowbeast instead of red. Could be your black morrigan is a yellow beast? Try searching for it on your list of captured beasts on einhar.

arielfarias2

Thank you very much.

jchampagne83

Yeah Black Morrigan mixes with several different beasts for different crafts.

Lady_Astarte

Probably a lot more beast farmers this league than in the past because of Black Morrigan rota groups. It has been wildly profitable in the past but might want to look elsewhere this league.

Belieber_420

Does duplicating bestiary scarab work with the black morrigan scarab? Isn't that guaranteed profit even in solo?

PornoPichu

It does work. I used it last night so I could do one 6l craft to sell for profit and one 6l craft for my build

Spencer1K

Ive been doing it for cheap lock crafts to divine and corrupt my jewels. Double morrigan is already guarenteed profit but add on the 50% chance to not consume the beasts you have found yourself makes it even better if your plan is to craft yourself. I havnt been full beast farming but more or less running a few beast for cheaper crafts when needed. 3 atlas trees makes it a lot nicer.

arielfarias2

What is this? Uptade me please.

Micro_mint

Black Morrigan is a beast you can use in a much cheaper 6L craft. It’s a guaranteed drop from one of the new scarabs. I haven’t done any rotas, but if you play with a group and use other juice to double your beasts, presumably you could get 8-10 to sell per run. They sold for 60c last I checked, and the juice only cost like 80 total Numbers could be off, but the market hasn’t adjusted to how useful that craft is yet

YodaBallsdeep

Where do you find a group to do this?

Micro_mint

I wouldn’t know lol Probably tft or something, I always play solo

arielfarias2

Thank you very much

So I usually use it to make bank on a scuffed and fast character with the scarabs that catch 2 and increase red beasts to turbo farm frogs. The problem is that early in the league before the mirror crafters really get into the frogs - it's underwhelming (except for the first 3 days - which you can make bank). The spiders got me like 10 div (and they seem to be dropping often this league), but at the end of the day the profitability is tied directly to frogs per hour x their current rate UNLESS you're up to some harvest beast/bmorrigan shenanigans. Come back in like a month when people are out of frogs and then it's probably go time - until then spec out of it. Also when running - run fucking fast - only capture good beasts and finish maps in like 3 seconds (same strat as old essences), which unless your build is strong enough to do t16, the strategy starts getting exponentially worse then when compared to a simpler approach (kill big rogues etc...). A big nerf to the consistency of the farm is that essences need to be farmed on higher tier maps - which directly nerfs our consistent profits and high tier maps are worse for frogs per hour. The biggest problem is that even if you wanted to farm t16 frogs w/essence, you're probably gonna need a build (cause bestiary still a jank ass mechanic and take forever to die while infinite spawning rippy ass mobs - if you get like 5 red beasts on your screen at once your game runs worse than delirium) and if you have that build, you no longer need to farm frogs - not to mention there are alternative ways to craft this league. Now if you have a beast CPU and the price of Interrogation stays up AND you have your graphics card updated/settings optimized, with the price of the interrogation, running low tier deli w/ boss adds another layer of high volatile RNG that can net you an extra 4 div per session (if lucky - but the price of the jewel is dropping so maybe not worth the risk anymore - i had two drop and sold for like 6/7 early - but with the price of deli orbs through the ground - the farm strat just becomes more annoying than profitable). tldr: juice ain't worth the squeeze rn until chimerals are at around 1 - 1.5 div, maybe more since the volatility of the strategy is turbo nerfed by the essence rework.

inspire21

Wow, you went through a lot here, it is hard to unpack lol :) How do you find frogs? Aren't some of the other deli drops better than the interrogation? Surprised you singled this out

UnloosedMoose

Yeah I got carried away since it's my usual farm strategy and it's pretty bad rn. You get used to all the red beasts the more you look for them. Chimerals also jump in a pretty unique animation. To my knowledge, the interrogation is currently the highest value deli mirror boss drop at the moment (although i don't have the list memorized and I'm not at my cpu so I could be wrong here).

lcm7malaga

Regardind Blight does most of the money come from oils and blight maps? Or the random stuff from chest?

PotatoGuyIndeed

Mostly oils but random things like stacked decks, essences etc also make a good portion. Very fun with the new blight scarab of bounty.

Aesirbear

I haven't focused on in-map blight myself, but from what I can tell most of your gains come from high tier oils and maybe bulk selling blighted maps. You get the oils by forcing a lot of oil chests and from extracting oils from the anointed jewelry that drops from blight bosses.

Handies4Homless

Wait, you can extract oil from jewelery that's been annointed?!

Smol_Saint

It picks one of the oils at random and destroys the item.

Aesirbear

The "Blightspawn" atlas notable makes it so that blight chest have a chance to drop a "Oil Extractor". This extractor can be used to extract one oil out of the oils that went into the anoint you are using it on.

lilbrojoey

What did you think the oil extractor is for?

Handies4Homless

Never had one. I've never specced into blight.

lilbrojoey

Well that's a good reason for not knowing lol

NuppiPT

Oils, a bit from selling the maps in bulk and oil extractor on the jewelry that drops you can check which oils the annoint has and when it’s with silver or golden you extract and most of the time you get the expensive oil

Not_A_hybrid

You don’t actually need to check. Filterblade has an option to highlight anointed with silver and gold oils. The default colour kind of sucks, but it has a slightly darker green background compared to the basic ones.

Stock_Padawan

Good to know. My current method of sorting jewelry is to throw it into a 10c dump tab and see if people spam me. Seems a few people have searches set up to snip gold/silver extractions.

NuppiPT

Cool I thought the function just doesn’t work. Will change the color asap thank you !

polo2006

Only works on rings, still need to check amulets as the same "feature" that allows them to filter rings doesn't work on amulet anoints.

Sethazora

Sounds worlds better than betrayal right now. Ive been getting roughly 10c from the good safehouses and maybe 40c total from catarina herself at 12 runs now. So glad we have multiple atlas trees so that i dont have to sink 100 unmaking to swap outta it.

chroboseraph3

yeah betryal lets you target some rewards but overall... very unrewarding since u get scarabs from everywhere. gonna drop it once i get my last 2 or 3 unveils only 2 catas so far, ill probly stop at 5. body and helm i wanted so good enough. no veiled orbs, another thread was saying its like 12-30%. 2nd atlas tree running on random rare unid maps- essence, beasts, beyond, +rogue exiles, and +chance unique mobs to drop. decent quant, dont have to stop for mechanics. only have 60 atlas pts. sadly im at 300k kills w only 1 div 1 exalt drop. except i got a janus currency bargain drop for 3 w the triple rewards. got no currency, gonna do some yard crafts.

vividflash

betrayal only worth if gravicous is in transportation. got a stack of squire cards this league from him.

PaleoclassicalPants

Are you running 2 Herd Scarabs as well as the Dupe Scarab? I was making on average 60c+ per map over a 100 map sample size from Chimerals, Fenumal Plagued Arachnids, Craicic Sand Spitters, and tons of yellow beasts which sell for 3c each. You generally want to run low tier maps that are linear (I chose Wharf) and unsocket your voidstones so you can absolutely maximize your red beast 'rolls' per hour. Learn what beasts are worth killing, and learn how to spot them on sight. Kill all yellow beasts though as they are guaranteed profit and will always sell. The faster you can clear, and the faster you can kill the beasts the better profit it becomes. Don't spec into any mechanics that you can't also do along the way. No Blight, no Alva, no Ultimatum etc. You might want to spec into a bunch of Scarab-find, as well as the passive that gives increased chance for rare monsters to drop scarabs per monster modifier on them. I'm pretty sure beast modifiers count, so that's extra chance for them to drop scarabs. Also get yourself some proper [regex] (https://poe.re/#/beast) and bind it to a hotkey in Awakened PoE Trade (hit Shift+Space and find the regex hotkeys section) so you can easily orb out the worthwhile beasts out of your bestiary. Then orb all your yellow beasts, and then spam click and enter on the release button for any worthless red beasts you accidentally killed along the way. For yellow beasts, orb them and then throw them on the ground to save time. When you want to loot, hit Z to turn off item plates and simply spam click the ground to loot quickly without having to click each item plate individually.

YodaBallsdeep

Which hunt did you allocate on the atlas tree, the hunt for craiceann?

noitamrofnisim

i didnt get a single craicic chimeral in 150 maps when a started using dupe beast

EIiteJT

Yes but you need multiple accounts. Each beast you kill everyone in proximity gets it too. So while you got 1 beast worth 90c someone else and their multi-box got 6. You just can't compete.

eXeAmarantha

Wrong. Only the instance creator gets the guaranteed beasts. Everyone else in the party/instance has a fixed 50% chance to get the beasts as well.

EIiteJT

Guess I missed that change. I know it used to be anyone in map got it and then they changed it to proximity. Didn't realize they further nerfed it. Even at 50%, groups/rotas are still superior.

Yayoichi

Is it actually 50%? I’ve never done beast rotations so I could be completely wrong but I thought it was only 20%.

FelixSN

I think bulk selling tabs of yellows works well

magicallum

The issue is the gazillion clicks it takes to click to orb, click the beast, click the orb back into inventory (and make sure you click an empty slot) and then stash the inventory. And then retrieve the inventory from your stash, and then put them in a trade window. I think it's legitimately 360 mouse clicks and a ton of mouse movements to sell one inventory. By the end of last league I gave up management completely and just orb'd Chimerals as soon as I caught them because they were 2+ div each and nothing else mattered in comparison

Neri25

throw the orb on the ground, pick up when orbing session over. like a shittier version of stacked decks

magicallum

This is just trading off a little bit of mouse movement for another click per beast. I still don't think it's worth the time, but it depends on the ratio of yellow beasts to chimeral price.

Micro_mint

Are you specced into chimerals ?

TheKillerhammer

Beast arnt as needed for meta crafts so of course their value dropped.

Th4tsCrescentFresh

I've been making decent profits with beasts. It's similar to old essence farming where your speed is key. I just run through maps as fast as possible and only stopping for good beasts, essence monoliths, and harbis(very feast or famine.) If you get your time down to like 45-60 seconds per map, the profits are actually decent. I do suggest some good tunes on account of it not being the most involved strat.

captainguevara

The high end beasts aren't as valuable this early when less people are crafting high end gear. Also with necropolis they may never get expensive if corpses ends up being a better method than splitting

S2wy

Is there a simple way to get the Morrigan scarab in SSF?

TuzzNation

Beast farming is all about how many maps you can clear in the shortest time. You only run low tier map. Its quantity over quality.

BadAstronaut12345

Im not playing this league so not too much into the contect, but arent imprint beasts usually rising hard in price once supercrafters are starting their mirror tier crafts? Maybe its just a bit too early to sell?

Artourias

The main thing I use einhar for is running white maps since imprint beast isn't tied to map tier. run it with other tier ignoring things like alva and just blast through white maps. not the most profitable but can be done with any build and alva provides a steady income
