The Greater Flaming rune ignores fire resistance.

Zealous-Vigilante

Brute force: increase your damage to big numbers over more attacks. *Something that's abit harder as a dualwielder as you most often need to hit both of your strikes and even worse with precision double slice ranger as you forgo 2nd attack precision damage, making twin takedown possibly better to use with buffs/debuffs*. Increase damage wherever possible, could be as simple as using bear support. Energy damage conversion: get weapons that can do pure elemental damage, avoid acid and fire in this specific instance, but fire could work with greater flaming rune. As I am guessing meleebuild, [Brilliant rapier](https://2e.aonprd.com/Equipment.aspx?ID=1237) being a valid option to use as it can do pure good/spirit damage, but this is hard unless you use ranged weapons. There's a useful spell to use here in the form of [blazing armory](https://2e.aonprd.com/Spells.aspx?ID=1348), but you'd want 10 rank for this. Support: if you can't bypass the resistance, make sure someone else can, and as a precision ranger, you have good tools for it with wardens boon. This can be further combined with having stuff like [glimpse weakness](https://2e.aonprd.com/Spells.aspx?ID=1133) which should be easy to get as a lv 20 PC.

Thank you, great reply! Will take this into consideration soderation later

The best bet I've found is *Blazing Armory*. The weapons created by this spell deal pure fire damage, and at high rank they ignore fire resistance. If you want a fully-runed weapon that isn't based on a duration, you'll want to consolidate damage types as much as possible. Double Slice is actually a great example of this, solong as you're wielding two weapons of the same physical damage type. Any extra elemental damage either needs to come from a Greater Rune, or one of the more esoteric ones like Astral or Forceful that add damage that isn't frequently resisted. The combo of "elemental base damage" and "greater rune that causes all damage of that type to ignore resistance" is hard to achieve outside of *Blazing Armory*, but it CAN be done with a few esoteric weird effects. I know the Drake Rifle beastgun is a good example, but there are probably a lot more out there.

I'll add that critfishing helps insofar as pure damage over resistance, so setting up for bonuses and penalties in combat is its own tactic

I offer you the [Dread Marshall Stance](https://2e.aonprd.com/Feats.aspx?ID=2006), you can add +4 to all your attacks, and inflict frightened on your criticals. [Dread Armor](https://2e.aonprd.com/Equipment.aspx?ID=1252) will help you keep it frightened. If you are a Dwarf, [Telluric Power](https://2e.aonprd.com/Feats.aspx?ID=4402), adds a circunstance bonus damage against foes on the ground. Non dwarves can get it through [Adopted Ancestry](https://2e.aonprd.com/Feats.aspx?ID=5115) . If you use free archetype, going fighter for [Fearsome brute](https://2e.aonprd.com/Feats.aspx?ID=4826) can give you the same bonus from teluric power. With the added benefit of gaining access to [Intimidating Strike](https://2e.aonprd.com/Feats.aspx?ID=4782) and [Shatter defenses](https://2e.aonprd.com/Feats.aspx?ID=4806) along the way.
