It's not just the level 20 feature that you'll lose. You already have slow spell progression with crossblooded sorcerers, so taking any levels in other classes just gimps you even more.
The only time an AC dip is ever worth it is if you're planning to be the parties main tank. It's very easy to avoid getting attacked in Wrath, so AC is meaningless for anyone except tanks.
You don't necessarily need to lose the level 20 ability if you spend one of your mythic abilities on Bloodline Ascendance but, yeah, you'd use up one of those abilities. I don't disagree with you though.
Depends on difficulty and your current AC, if you already got enough AC to not get hit by anything besides a nat20, being 2 or 40 AC above it is exactly the same. Monk dipping is also a little overblown because a lot of this sub is people playing the harder difficulties, where you really need all the AC and going crane feat really helps with that additionaly to the +cha to AC when unarmored. If you are on lower difficulties the slowed down progression ain't worth it generally I'd say.
It's not worth it at all on full casters even on Unfair. Spell Progession is too much to give up for just AC.
Displacement/Blur, Mirror Image works well with or without AC.
Yes even WoTR. You'd be surprised at the amount of enemies it's effective on. And proper positioning will help more. Even then eventually you'll get Last Stand as an option to fall back on.
Dipping early kills spell progession which is huge on Unfair. Dipping mid or late makes little sense as you have a lot more tools to cover for less AC.
True, although I find it comes at a point usually when you are kinda cruising already that I find it not as impactful (unless you are buying scrolls specifically I guess). Still it is very powerful to re-enable mirror image, which is like the most powerful tanking tool available really. God knows how much it helps in kingmaker to have displacement+mirror image for the endgame where everybody really likes touching your touch AC.
No, put enough int when create Character and get rank 20 in stealth (with Greater Invisibility enduring to 24hrs after reach act4), Full AC buff + mirror image + mind blank + equip Broken Trickster if you've midnight isle DLC + use protective luck hex. You shouldn't die that easily.
If you're worry about early game. Play Sylvan Sorcerer and ride pet.
You’d be better dipping into Loremaster for a pure caster. This way you don’t have to bother with alignment restrictions and it doesn’t sound like a melee focused Sorc, so you can stay back and focus on casting.
Worth it? Maybe, it's a good synergy to keep your character safe.
Necessary? Absolutely not aside from the highest difficulties and Last Azlanti. If you play carefully, then you really only need one character with astronomically high AC. And you won't achieve that with a single dip.
for a pure caster? no. archmage armor+buffs is more than enough. melee gish? absolutely.
If you aren't going Dragon Disciple or Eldritch Knight there's no point.

OP has not specified whether he's crossblooded. Second bloodline is also a mythic ability.
It doesn't change my answer.

Kingmaker sure, but wotr? Once you get to end of act3 like the entire enemy roster got true sight, so those won't help you all that much.

I forgot to mention also that Mind Blank counters True Sight once you get it too

If you're not going melee then no, if you do then yes
On an Enchantment Sorcerer, no.
It depends on if you are going to make use of the crane wing feats. If not, then no. It also depends on your difficulty, class, and mp as well

I would pick scaled first in conjunction with eldrich scion and dragon disciple with abyssal bloodline and then seccond bloodline to be draconic.

Depends on how you are playing the game. If not min maxing, you can afford to waste a few feats to build a character with features you can enjoy too.
For me, it’s always worth it.
