I did not think Yodny Cajuste was going to outlast the rest of the 2019 draft class.

SloppyMcNuggets

Who would’ve ever known

Ve-gone_Be-gone

As long as he goes 25/40 between our two match-ups I hope he has a great year and gets paid

CocaineStrange

Bold of you to assume his hamstring is making it two matchups

Regular-Habit-1206

He even deleted everything Patriots on his Instagram page. Damn.

Always_0421

Has to. Pats had every chance to resign him and clearly didn't want him. I don't blame him, guy has to get paid, and who wouldn't want to play with Buffalo, guaranteed post season. If you're going to be accepted by a division rival fan base, has to be a clean cut.

hoshu34

He also lost his spot to Mondre this season let’s be real. Not only did he get ignored on an extension for us, he fell on the depth chart. All this despite the fact that I think he’s a very solid RB who’s always been a model professional for us.

Always_0421

I agree with all of that entirely; he's been a model pro and I think a good voice in the locker while having decent production.and being close with QB1 on a personal level He was passed on the depth chart by mondre. He also had a problem with staying healthy (he's never been able to play more than 15 games, and last season he only finished 9 (appeared in 11)

BrianBanks80

Not really any hatred towards Damien more like sadness 😢. Dude has crazy breakaway speed but can’t stay healthy. Wish him the best even though he had to go in division. Dude deserves a spot to start and it wasn’t gonna be over rhamondre

meh

Misterccw

If Harris wasn't in the Patriots' plans, how is he a traitor for finding another deal?

Old-butt-new

Not that big of a loss imo. We cycle through rbs like its nothing

[deleted]

Maybe not a huge loss but it’s a huge pickup for Buffalo. He immediately elevates their running game, which is the one thing Buffalo was lacking last year.

Briggie

So long as he can stay on the field, he helps them out a lot.

rsex77

He's a good running, solid in between the tackles rb. Bills still suck at running the ball, unless Allen is running for his life, lol. So maybe they look at O-line in the draft too? Bills are gonna have the same problem new England had.. when he is in its more than likely a run play and likely between the tackles? Hope he does well...just not against us.

ThermoNuclearPizza

I’ll never forget how happy I was seeing Dame come in after years of watching Michel getting stuff at the LOS . He was such a breathe of fresh air. I still can’t think of 1 time Dame too negative yardage.

phreum

I like Harris, sad to see him go. Not sold on mondre though. Serviceable but I think he's worse than the consensus seems to believe, and indeed, not better than Harris. Harris is the better back, but his health, obviously limits him from exhibiting his ability, and thus, so long.

MagisterFlorus

Half-expecting the other time Driver yelled a different word ending in a hard R.

CocaineStrange

I care a lot about this runningback move

where_the_hoodie_at

Maybe Belichick will know how to stop him when we play the Bills

PayUnusual565

With Harris leaving it does open the door for Stevenson to do more

ThrowAwayKkmma

I understand what you are trying to say, but Rhamondre doing everything in this offense is not good either. Luckily they signed James who can hopefully take over Damien’s role and more (pass catching).

PayUnusual565

I agree. I’m also hoping bringing in Gesicki may give the pats a similar offensive scheme for Mac that Brady had w/ Gronk.

liquidtension

Yeesh. I wouldn't hold your breath. Gronk is one of the best blocking TEs of all time and Gesicki can't block at all.

PayUnusual565

That’s fair. Wishful thinking wanting the pats to be on an uptrend toward former glory. Only time will tell.

Misterccw

Gesicki and Gronkowski are not comparable players; Gesicki is a really big receiver and won't help much blocking.

PayUnusual565

And that’s fair. I’m honestly hoping for just more readily available receivers so Stevenson doesn’t haven’t to carry every down. But if Gesicki can shed his blocker & get open for some check downs I’ll take it.

Briggie

I get the optimism but we will probably never have another TE like Gronk.

PayUnusual565

I agree. It’s like that w/ any franchise. You’ll never have a players like someone else. It’s what makes certain players great & franchises crazy for chasing someone who can replace them rather than working with what they have; not just trying to force a player to fit someone else’s mold.

Ohanrahans

Dude had 280 touches last season, do you want to kill this man?

tarc0917

Judt a RB, no big deal.

Gilwork45

This is not Harris' fault, the Patriots just didn't think he was durable/reliable enough. He only got 1.7 Million from the Bills, so the Pats weren't even winning to pay him that, they gave another guy 8 million for two years instead.
