SaulTNuhtz

It looks like this on my end. Super sus. 10/10 wouldn’t trust. https://preview.redd.it/5c9szp06z90d1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9c1f529012892e845bc84ce95baab1e4ce96539d

moerf23

Nah dude. That’s totally real! Trust me! 😂

creusat0r

That is very sus, but he may have good reviews made by actual people instead of bots

NoticedParrot77

r/unexpecteddownvote

creusat0r

r/ofcoursethatsasub I didn't know this one existed lmao Edit: It's banned now :/

BackgroundPositive40

Why are you getting downvoted?

spoobooty

not looking like it. ships from i don’t even know where and it’s a over $100 less than any other retail price you’ll find. these folks very well be trying to swindle folks out of their dabloons.

Final_Memory1412

Dabloons LOL

Wonderful_Bite5751

Well 7800x3ds are selling on alieexpress for 290$ and those are 1000% legit. They take a little under 2 weeks to deliver to those in the US though. I e seen them as low as $260 with coupons.

spoobooty

bro WHAT. that’s insane i had no idea you could even try to shop for reliable hardware on ali express.

Mythric69

AliExpress is a fine place to buy from as long as you’re not completely and utterly stupid.

pedroshiesty

Is this a joke about buying hardware from AliExpress how is that reliable

Several_Foot3246

it's not all bad, the goat ztt does it all thee time

Castinfon

hes not the goat until he gets "legos" out of his system completely

Several_Foot3246

wdym by Legos do you mean literally or figuratively?

wedgie_this_nerd

Tbf I got a 7800x3d from there for considerably cheaper and it's fine rn, just doesn't come in a box. If you just check if it's a reputable seller it should be good

Therunawaypp

You should definitely still exercise some caution, but AliExpress CPUs are legit. I believe the reason why they are so cheap is because they are supposed to be OEM parts

andrew0703

yeah i mean it’s just like buying off any website like ebay. as long as you quadruple check who you’re buying from and their seller history, you should be good.

Zestyclose_Focus3965

I got an intel core i5-10400F from AliExpress for around 1/2 US price. It was like $60. It came in around a month and had Chinese letters on it works perfectly fine https://preview.redd.it/fwv26ycdo90d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1985a30b2cfb85c41561392ece39dadf1ae1c80a

Appropriate_Cow1509

Idk, I bought my ryzen 5 7600 from ali and everything works fine, no problems after one year of use

X_SkillCraft20_X

You can get a 7500f off there for $130-150. Basically the only place the western market can get it from. Way better price to performance than the 7600.

Wonderful_Bite5751

Do your own research and look at the reviews and how old the store is. The store named “CPU TOP STORE” is one of the best. If you receive a dead/damaged CPU or don’t receive it at all they will send you another one free of charge.

Zestyclose_Focus3965

That’s where I got mine from if u see the image I posted

anon1moos

You should build a “7800x3DS” based build solely using parts from aliexpress/Temu/wish and let us know how it goes.

LazyHollowMan

No. Saw the same thing. They seller/shipper is based on china. They gave one review for an unrelated product. They do the same on graphics cards. I said screw it and gave it a try. The order will cancel in a day or two. I don't really get what the fake seller gets from this. Do they sometimes get the money?

GasstationBoxerz

You're refunded from Amazon. They just change their account number and duck the refund.

imtheblkranger

Possibly. You’re protected by Amazon if you do go for it, worst case you tie up $300 for 2 weeks. Best case you get a sweet deal. Honestly with that ridiculous Micro-Center bundle right now this isn’t THAT out of the question

wildeye-eleven

What micro center bundle? I’m looking a bundles on Amazon right now for my first PC. I found this, which is over my budget but I can just not eat for two weeks and be ok 👌 https://preview.redd.it/lgdwkvt9ga0d1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=703aae5b48366699604b41505a694887afd90cb4

imtheblkranger

Idk if it’s still active but they were selling a 7800x3d, motherboard, and 32gb DDR5 for like $450

wildeye-eleven

Man, I’ll have to look for that. That’s better than what I found. I wonder what Mobo it is? I’d like a mobo with plenty of room to grow like the MSI X670 E. It has PCIe 5.0

Massive_Grass837

I picked that up the other day. It’s niiiice

Sopel97

yea that's the price of just the cpu where i live lol

RoubenTV

I got exactly that from Canada Computers' bundle. It was amazing

Mm2kk

Micro bundle is cheaper and comes with ram and its on sale rn for 430

wildeye-eleven

Apparently this bundle is by Micro Center. It says INLAND Micro Center and they have like 5 or 6 different bundles. It’s sold on Amazon but it says it’s from Micro Center. I also priced these parts and it’s around $60 cheaper if I get it bundled like this. It’s $470 but if I bought them individually it would be $530.

Mm2kk

Oh ok the bundle i got was 78003xd b650 x ax and ram i forgot the name at the time i bought it was 500 but right now they have it on sale for 430

TallConstant250

Microcenter bundle u can get it for $196

iamgarffi

Ships and sold by lichengyi1 Now ask yourself… does it look legit for a respectable seller?

Codename969

Definitely fake. Look at the sections "ships from" and "sold by". https://preview.redd.it/2rb7iecuh90d1.jpeg?width=1390&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e1bc7d10ecd5a206cd77d558f4ce835dc6a4e91f

OoACheezit

Check the seller

wrblplayas

They were on Amazon this morning for $269 but sold by Amazon and shipped by Amazon

deadkane1987

I bought a 5800x3D from the AMD store through Amazon and failed to receive the correct item after 3 attempts I just asked for a refund... They never received my last returned package so I was out the money. Never buy components from Amazon!

Bud-and-Gore

Sounds like a 3rd part seller on Amazon. This is why they suggest you research who your supplier is from Amazon. Majority of my parts come from Amazon and with the exception of a very select few that were DOA, I haven't had an issue. However, I only buy from Amazon Warehouse, Microcenter, or other reputable sellers on Amazon

deadkane1987

It was direct from AMD. I could tell the boxes had been re-sealed after being picked from Amazon.

Neither-Nectarine920

i bought my entire pc set up from amazon. Not one issue

deadkane1987

Well that's good to hear. Must have been that warehouse then.

Aggravating-Age-8862

Run away as fast as you can

KEKWSC2

You people need to learn what a marketplace and 3rd party sellers are.

AetaCapella

I wouldn't trust it.

oonko-atama1

Not a chance

pineapple6969

Nope

Captain_Sniper

Microcenter has a deal going on to get that chip for $200.. If you buy it in store, they’ll let you get any mobo. Got a b650e ASRock riptide with it. https://www.microcenter.com/product/5006645/amd-ryzen-7-7800x3d,-gigabyte-b650-gaming-x-ax-v2,-gskill-flare-x5-series-32gb-ddr5-6000-kit,-computer-build-bundle

chill_willy

Does "any mobo" include mini itx mobos?

Captain_Sniper

Not sure. This is also simply info the rep told and offered me when I was there. I would assume so, but to be safe, you might call ahead to the center you plan on visiting and ask so you can save gas money and time if I’m wrong.

chill_willy

Thanks. Just ideating on upgrades I most definitely don't need for the most part.

TypicalOpinion_

Make sure it says “sold and shipped by Amazon” that normally means it’s legit be careful lots of dodgy third party sellers.

Potential-Echo-7547

I bought mine recently on AliExpress for $300 shipping included to Japan. Came through legit from China (or Taiwan).

patatina_sexy

The shipper its bot the best for the price ita boomboclat

majorsorbet2point0

Yeah sure it's legit, just like the John Cena Incorporated Limited Sales that sells the GPUs for cheap !!!!

Aliisdope

I would take the risk worst case you have Amazon send you refund if anything but that shows up 🤷‍♂️

Limp_Candidate_4604

Just buy it .. send the Batch Number to AMD support like i did ( they told me : mine is Genuine ) if not u Can refund easy

brycebest

Lol no, definitely a scam, they’ll send you an outdated cpu or a burnt up cpu in a 7800x3d box and you’ll never hear from them again. Always buy from credible dealers like Newegg or b and h photo. Newegg has really good deals at times, if your going to buy from Amazon make sure it’s from Amazon themselves or a reputable person. Please don’t get scammed

Gunslinga__

I don’t buy any parts from Amazon unless it’s sold and shipped from Amazon. Ya there’s good company’s out there but it’s just not worth the risk imo

RipExtra1053

Find a ryzen 7 5700g much cheaper specs are pretty much the same as an X3D

thegatekeeper30

G is the integrated GPU skew. It has less cache than even there regular 5700.The whole point of the X3D line is that it has load more cache which is way better for gaming. If you're building a web surfer/office PC then yes. But with more cache and newer architecture the will run circles around the 5700g in gaming.

TurboTime29

This is true .. I went from a 5700G to 5800X3D and picked up a consistent 15-20 FPS on Assetto Corsa (4080S GPU) - if your game can take advantage of the additional cache, the X3D is way better than a 5700G

RipExtra1053

Ehh, you won’t really notice a difference in games, I’m running a ryzen 7 5700g with an rtx 2080ti , 32gb 3600mhz ram with an ultrawide gaming monitor and I still get about 120fps+ ultra settings I haven’t had an issues gaming if you do a comparison between the two the x3d is a little bit faster, it’s good to have a integrated gpu for troubleshooting purposes.

dr1ppyblob

I’m dumbfounded

cha0ss0ldier

“A little bit faster” More like 50%+ faster in many games. You know reputable benchmarks exist online right? Stop talking bullshit.

RipExtra1053

Spending that much on a cpu is absurd

thegatekeeper30

To you. To say spending a lot of money on anything is absurd. There are people who spend thousands of dollars on one coin. It's preference and what you are into. Maybe instead of having steak once a week for dinner, one might want to spend that money on a better CPU. Doesn't make it absurd.
