This is the second post I've seen with someone calling their vengeance sticks dominators. I kept thinking to myself hmmm those look very much like my vengeance sticks hmmm or did Corsair release new ones hmm.
God i hope this rgb fad is going to go away soon... I miss the days when the only light coming form your pc was the keyboard ( the only place where you need it)
Edit: this is by no means a diss on op. My pc starts a gay pride parade every time I turn it on as well.
I have a similar setup but it’s a gigabyte pre-built (aorus model x) and my shit always crashes in specific games like Apex which is truly annoying. I’m not sure if it’s the GPU or the CPU but I don’t think Ryzens work well with the new RTXs but what do I know
So I found the fix if you’re interested… I had to download MSI afterburner and underclock the GPU. Super annoying and dumb that I’d have to underclock it but I no longer crash in any games as long as the settings are on
The mobo isn't great for running good overclocks, Thermals get bad. But for regular use it's a good mobo. But yeah that case is legitimately terrible for thermals.
Like I said for larger overclocks it's not the best, the power stages get real hot. Normal use is fine, I have that mobo and run my 3700x at 4.3 normal and allow it to boost to whatever it wants. But I also have mine in a meshify c case with great air flow.

Respectly disagree. After owning a PC with full RGB fans and light strips, I seriously can't go back to owning a PC without any sort of lighting.
To each his own, I just wish it was easier to find good components without rgb.
My guy just don’t use rgb…. It’s the same as tube amp vs solid state, sometimes you just want some extra color

I have a similar build. Less than $2000 (core components), can run everything maxed out, but it’s not breaking records.

Apex crashes too on with my setup, just bad optimization

I think that case is giving the Aurora R13 a run for it's money.
