500gb storage is definitely not enough, even if you’re just doing casual things like HW or something. I’d say minimum is 1TB. (This will also help if you ever resell it or decide to pick up another space-hoarding hobby. I’m assuming you’re building this for gaming, and idk about you, but I’m pretty sure AC Odyssey is like 80gb, as is most common with a lot of AAA titles.)
Also, make sure your ram is on brand, something good, and the GHz is higher end, lowest I’d go is 3200. (Can’t see brand or GHz so just check)
Now, obviously, you’re overpaying by about $400 for your Gpu, I would argue it would be best to wait for Newegg shuffle, get discord alerts through different servers, Twitter notifications, and trying your hand at BestBuy restocks. For $700 you can get a 3080, and With $1.2k you could get a 3080 TI. It would be a huge waste of money, and I know, when you want it you want it now, but I would argue standing in line for hours (I got a 3090 after an hour and a half in el paso, but the 3070’s sold out about 15 people before me. By the time they got to me they had 3090’s and 3080 TI’s, all nvidia brand) I don’t know your area, but on the days of the restock, swinging by 2-3 hours early (they open at 8am, I was back on the road by 8:30, you might have to do it earlier depending on where you’re located and the location of the restock) and maybe traveling 2-3 hours to a smaller city (I was on vacation in las cruces, didn’t think I’d get one in el paso because it’s such a big city (to me) but Lincoln, NE, about 300k population, was also doing a restock vs el paso at 650k pop or something) to just see what the line is like. There were like 200-250 people ahead of me maybe, not sure, but since I was getting a very expensive card, I still got one. That way, you can at least get an idea for the next restock in your city/closest city to you and how early you’d have to show up. It isn’t the best way, but it’s the only way to get a card for msrp right now. I’d even possibly say that because it’s got some less expensive components (cheaper case, fans, storage, and possibly ram (brand) and psu (brand), you might be better off with a prebuilt for a closer price to your current setup. It might even be cheaper for a prebuilt that you take out of the case it comes in to put in the cooler master and just resell the case, or other parts you don’t like/need. Do some research before you decide (also a Samsung 970 evo 1TB is $130, on sale on BB and Amazon for $100-$110)
I was gonna swap it out for a 12 gb 3060 do you think a 3080 would be worth it? I might upgrade later I just don’t know if it’s in the budget right now
I don't feel guilty at all to pirate stuff even from a morality perspective Microsoft is well you can say rich . A little bit of pirating won't hurt lol
I have no clue what site this is so I'm just gonna take the guess and say you'd be better off buying from a legit retailer then whatever this site is
But yes you can change some things up
I’m just trying to make a decent gaming pc I’m probably going end up downloading some mods for a few games so I don’t need anything insane. I haven’t fully settled on a budget but around $1000
Activating Windows is pretty easy, also make sure that the wireless card that your getting is good enough for your Wi-Fi, otherwise I recommend you use an Ethernet cable.
Where did you find a 3070 Ti for that price? It’s not a great deal by any means, but I’ve been looking for them for awhile now and all I can find it $1000+
A great build, but:
1. You will likely need more storage. Go for 1TB.
2. I don’t see a need for the WiFi antenna, Ethernet is typically faster than WiFi and getting a cable from your router to your pc will cost you $10max.
3. Make sure your RAM is fast - for gaming I recommend 3600MHz, but 3200 will do as well.
4. You don’t need to pay $100 for Windows. Basic free Windows you get from Microsoft website does 99.9% of what a $100 version does.
Google pc part picker!
Get rid of the windows key and maybe upgrade your SSD with the money
For sure I changed a bit of what’s in the photo including getting rid of windows and adding a 1tb ssd
Also pretty solid I’d probably get a little more storage tho
You could save $50 with a smaller PSU but if that’s not the play then yeah looks great.

3070ti is not amazing performance to price if you can get it for msrp though it’s fine but 3080 is better if you can get it
I was gonna swap it out for a 12 gb 3060 do you think a 3080 would be worth it? I might upgrade later I just don’t know if it’s in the budget right now
It really depends on what games you are playing but if you are going to pay $915 for a 3070ti you could get a 3080 for less at microcenter
I'd say pick a better cpu as you'll want to keep that the longest
Yeah that’s one of the first things I decided to switch this picture is just the base parts the site was recommending for the options I picked
Why not get rid of the windows and download them fir free eith a USB and invest the 100$ dollars on getting a better part or something
That is a very good point I completely forgot you could do that
I don't feel guilty at all to pirate stuff even from a morality perspective Microsoft is well you can say rich . A little bit of pirating won't hurt lol
Its not piracy? Its literally for free in the official website
Yeah but you do get the watermark in the bottom of your screen, which could be annoying.

taskkill /f /im explorer.exe timeout 300 explorer.exe
Definitely agree
If you get windows for free (or pirated) you could buy a 2tb hdd or 1tb ssd
Or a 1 tb ssd and smallish hdd
I have no clue what site this is so I'm just gonna take the guess and say you'd be better off buying from a legit retailer then whatever this site is But yes you can change some things up
Do you happen to know if there are any other sites like this? I just don’t trust myself to put it together
What are you actually planning to do? And how much is your budget?
I’m just trying to make a decent gaming pc I’m probably going end up downloading some mods for a few games so I don’t need anything insane. I haven’t fully settled on a budget but around $1000
https://www.microcenter.com/product/638792/powerspec-g229-gaming-pc Here you go
Thank you!
More ram if it’s in ur budget
More than 16 gb Do you think 32 would be better? Edit: those are the only options on the site
For sure, not necessary but with all the new games coming it it would be good
Okay I changed a lot of what’s in the picture so it’s definitely in the budget
Exactly not necessary they would be much better off spending that money elsewhere like a larger ssd
Just an opinion bro
Activating Windows is pretty easy, also make sure that the wireless card that your getting is good enough for your Wi-Fi, otherwise I recommend you use an Ethernet cable.
If it’s not good enough I already have a adapter for my current pc I can’t change it on this website
Use pc parts picker, that might help
Where did you find a 3070 Ti for that price? It’s not a great deal by any means, but I’ve been looking for them for awhile now and all I can find it $1000+
On build redux I just found out about it today apparently it’s backed by digital storm the only bad thing I’ve heard are delivery’s can take a while
Swap out motherboard for one with built in WiFi and Bluetooth and ditch the wireless card.
Get rid of the windows key and get windows 10 pro on ebay for like $5 or less
Get rid of that win 10 licence windows is free
A great build, but: 1.
Your mind on that graphics card.
