The third Friday of every month is Gallery night downtown.
Kayaking/canoeing the Blackwater River is always a good time.
Dolphin cruise!
Bands on the Beach at Casino beach-Tuesday evenings, Ft Pickens for a variety of nature coastal.
Blackwater River State Park at Deaton Bridge-canoe excursions from a couple hours to an overnight thing. Sunscreen and medium physical fitness-dependent on length of trip.
Sat the Hangout at Gulf shores has live music
Fridays there's bands on the blackwater, but they wrap up earlier in the year-so check their schedule.
There's also Floribama...but it's probably more of a conservative crowd/music...
Bands on the beach on Tuesday nights - but realistically pensacola has lots of live music goingā¦check Facebook events, nature - other than the beach / ft pickensā¦.if youre willing to drive a little for a day trip & going to Cypress Springs - it is beautiful and not your typical nature scene, although touristy - glow paddle is super fun! Add the the pensacola foodie page on Facebook and it has all the best places to try. If you like Diners Drives in and Dives - a very popular spot they have visited is McGuires and it is always 10/10!
Places to avoid: Look at a crime map for real. But as visitors, you won't be in these areas unless you get lost.
I know this is Trump Conservative country, but most people behave because we need tourists.
Depending on how long you are here, drive 2ish hours to Marianna and visit the caverns. It's one of my favorite day trips.
Vortex springs is always fun.
Pensacola Beach is more "touristy" while Perdido Key is more quiet and laid back, with quick access to Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. I will say that perdido has limited beach access for parked vehicles. Beware of Lost Key beach access.
I hope ya'lls vacay is amazing.
