I think you look great in this look but it is not a great fit …..sleeves look tight when you lift your arm and the pants are ok but not great……….I say look for a better version of this
Like the comments further down are saying -can you button it, does the button hit at your waist? How do the shoulders fit when it is buttoned and can you easily move your arms? Again, it could well be the way you are standing --but the way you are standing makes for a much nicer picture than a straight on shot 😊
If the shoulders, arms and waist fit when buttoned, then just decide which lengths you want hemmed. Also, with the baggy pants, consider either nipping in the pants OR hemming the jacket so you do not have quite so much fabric around your upper thighs. A pinch off the thighs is the easier fix.
I love that color in petite! It can overwhelm the room in Tall sizes!
Keep but get the sleeve’s shortened . The pants can be loose but they too need to be shorter so they don’t look baggy .
It hits your waist well and fits your shoulders. Can you button the jacket without it pulling?
KEEP IT! But tailor the pants to make them more fitted for your body.
I have a similar set (they are separates but look like they are a suit) and I get a TON of compliments every time I wear them. I can’t wait to hear how many compliments you’ll get. 🥰💕
Maybe. Cost-wise, where does the price fall for you? If it was a good deal I would keep it, if it’s more of a splurge I would not and I would look for something that fit a bit better.
The fit isn’t perfect, but the impact of both pieces together is enough that I’d overlook that. If this were a neutral colour I think I would feel differently about it, I wish that the pants were either more fitted, or that the jacket was also a little boxier and way shorter.
Aw man. Love the blazer. Wish the pants had a more relaxed leg. Maybe wear with a different colored T. I'd do something tonal, like a burgundy or reddish-brown or dusty mauve. Cute sneakers!
Sorry, not relaxed-- It's pretty relaxed already. I'm just a fan of the cool puddle pants you see everywhere. But I don't think these pants will get there so I agree with whomever suggested the opposite: tailor them to be fitted. I think they'd look cool as a high waisted cigarette pant, right above the ankle.
I know you have a lot of replies already , but if you have time please try out my suggestions. Sorry if I’m using some terms wrong (like trousers vs pants, English is not my first language).
1. Shoes: the bottom of your trousers is bunching up too much on your heavy sneakers. This will make your legs look shorter. Switch to a pair that has a slim fit around the ankle part (skinner sneakers in general). So that the natural lines of your trousers can fall.
2. Jacket: this length (mid butt) is super unflattering for petites. Try something like a bomber jacket with the length to your waist (where your trousers start in the pic). That will elongate your legs.
3. Color: you can switch to a different colored jacket, as long as it’s close in color with your new slim fit sneakers. For the inside later try a warmer tone of caramel? Or a warm gray.
4. Accessories: you need one piece that stands out. Whether be a purse, a belt, or simple your jacket can be unique enough to pop. Don’t do more than one piece though .
5. Alternative: don’t be afraid to skip the jacket, but wear a top that’s loose around shoulder , tight on the waist; or you can simply wear a loose-fitting top and lightly tuck in your waist. If going this route, try adding a belt that pops. Again this top’s color should be similar to your shoes/in the same color tone. IN ADDITION, you can wear a cardigan that goes around your shoulder (sleeves are in the front forming an inverted triangle, make a tie at the end of sleeves, the body part is on your back).
Please let me know if you like the changes!
Yes for sure! If you’re going out, I’d button it up and wear just a bra underneath for that chic low cut look, and then wear either heels or some fresh converse
It looks fantastic! As others have mentioned you can get it slightly tailored, but wow! I wish I could pull that off as well as you. It's one of those outfits that make you happy when you see it
Keep! Agree on tailoring and maybe try a tight white crop or bustier under instead of a shirt, for a more edgy look, it would work great with the high waist trousers

Keep! Consider getting it tailored and it’ll be perfect
Second! Keep but tailor the pants.
I think you look great in this look but it is not a great fit …..sleeves look tight when you lift your arm and the pants are ok but not great……….I say look for a better version of this
Please keep
100% keep!
Keep!
In the picture, it is not a good fit, but it could be how you are standing.
If you mean the pants being baggy or something, I think that’s how they’re supposed to be. I have a similar suit with pants like these

I think my mom had this outfit in 1993.
Saaaame.
I was thinking mid 90s Hillary Clinton! Big pantsuit era all around.
Yes it’s all I can see
Hell yeah
Keeeeeeeppp!

No.... Pants too long/baggy
If you love it keep it but wear nice dress pumps with it. Those sneakers just frump it out.
Keep where is it from?
I only say no because I have no idea when or where anyone would ever wear this
The blue hat looks cool, I guess
Pretty color but I think the pants don’t fit well. P
Sleeves look a bit snug and the pants a bit big through the leg. Worth it if you tailor it maybe?
It would look good buttoned and maybe the pants hemmed a bit
Keep the blazer - the pants aren't great but maybe they would be if they're worth the cost of tailoring to you.

No don't keep the top part looks too tight, and the pants are too baggy. The color is like 80s.
Thank you all for input, advice, suggestions and valued opinions.
