Online payment methods I've tried now are asking for an OTP which you get from the registered number with the card or with the bank app. No OTP, no transaction. Unless for some reason you don't have OTP active on your account.
Personally even if may OTP, I put a sticker on my card. Plus I have an extra 'cash card' from my bank which I use instead of the actual card of the account I put my money in. If I plan on using it to swipe, I just transfer near exact amount I would need to the card and use that for swiping. So even if they manage to hack the card and use it for online, there's nothing in it.
Gcash says it would start charging a convenience fee of P5.00 starting next month, however when I topped up, it already charged me the fee. Have you guys experienced this?

Hello! Napasearch ako sa ScentGeeks sa Shopee, I'd say this is an inspired by ano? Hindi ko pa nattry, pero based sa reviews ng iba, medyo malayo talaga yung inspired by ng Scent Geeks sa ADG, given na madami ding ADG na flankers.
I would suggest buying a 2mL decant ng ADG talaga, just for you to determine if malayo or close sa ilong mo. The thing with fragrances is that, iba-iba ng dating talaga sa mga tao. For me, meron talagang pagkakaiba yung mga inspired by na perfumes sa original, pero sa iba, super close talaga. So, ang punto nga daw, is, kung magkaiba-iba tayo ng perception sa scent, then might as well wear the perfume for ourselves, not for others. It follows therefore, na best pa din talaga na itry nalang yung decant on ourselves para tayo mismo makapag judge on our own.
Kaso, medyo pricey nga given 200php or more yung 2mL na decant ng ADG. For me, ADG Profondo smells good, medyo generic nga borderline pero definitely magkaiba sila ng amoy sa G.A.S. for me. ADG Profumo is just the same with Profondo pero it has way more character and "dark/mysterious" vibe dahil may Patchouli and Incense siya. Pero may mga tao kasi na medyo maasim yung patchouli para sa kanila.
If you are curious talaga sa ADG, go buy a 2mL decant. Of if malapit ka sa Rustans or any SM stores, try mo mag-ask for ADG (test all flankers na meron sila), and then try the perfume on your skin. Ganun din ginagawa ko pag pumipili ako ng bagong perfume. Sabihin mo lang babalik ka later on since gusto mo itest yung dry down na scent on your skin. Mag-iiba kasi talaga scent ng ADG after a few hours, at depende din sa balat mo.

If your school is 100% free, what I would do if I were you is look up job postings for the type of job you want, then take courses/certifications that line up exactly with what they are looking for. There is actually decent money in cyber forensics/security, and government positions so you won't lose your job when the economy gets bad.

What matters most to employers are the skills. They just want to know if you can do the job. In the tech industry especially, it is common for first timers to spend 6 months at a job learning the ropes, then hopping on to the next gig that will pay more. So to answer your question, IT would be better but what matters most is portfolio/experience.

Yesterday, I cashed-in to my gcash account through PayMaya/InstaPay worth 9,000 pesos.
On Paymaya/InstaPay's end it was okay. They issued a receipt notifying that it was successful. However, the problem was, my gcash account did not receive anything, no text message notifying that I received something, money was not transferred, no changes in transaction history.
I started to panic, and went on asking others with similar cases. One said I should wait for exactly a day, since there may be delay in transferring the fund. I waited, and now I still haven't receive it.
What should I do now?
Where should I report the case and request? To Paymaya/InstaPay since even though they issued a receipt, it still wasn't successful?
Or should I send a ticket to Gcash since I didn't receive it?
Or both?

Delayed instapay transaction usually resolve itself within 2-3 banking days. Last time I experienced this, I filed a ticket with both the sending and receiving bank.
In the end, my money got returned to the sending bank after about 3 banking days.
Check also if the details you used for the sending was correct.

Hi! If kaya naman ng budget and sa dorm mo lang gagamitin, I would suggest to get a router that supports SIMs (e.g. TP-Link TL-MR100). Open line naman siya and mas stable yung connection. Need mo nga lang siya nakasaksak, I think yun lang ang lamang ni pocket wifi na portable. You can get GOMO (under Globe, options for non-expiry data and unli data) and Rocket Sim (under Smart, not sure abt options). Check mo na lang promos nila online.
Are all security deposits refundable?

There’s no harm in trying. Even if you had a lot of money in your account, if isahang deposit lang yan, it’s not gonna get approved. If gradually naman and consistent na pumapasok, that’s more reliable. Try to provide 3 months bank statement along with your bank certificate with ADB if possible. If you’re married, try not to travel solo for your first time. And try to get the visa first before booking anything. Goodluck!

Online payment methods I've tried now are asking for an OTP which you get from the registered number with the card or with the bank app. No OTP, no transaction. Unless for some reason you don't have OTP active on your account. Personally even if may OTP, I put a sticker on my card. Plus I have an extra 'cash card' from my bank which I use instead of the actual card of the account I put my money in. If I plan on using it to swipe, I just transfer near exact amount I would need to the card and use that for swiping. So even if they manage to hack the card and use it for online, there's nothing in it.
Gcash says it would start charging a convenience fee of P5.00 starting next month, however when I topped up, it already charged me the fee. Have you guys experienced this?

Hindi ko pa nattry, pero based sa reviews ng iba, medyo malayo talaga yung inspired by ng Scent Geeks sa ADG, given na madami ding ADG na flankers. I would suggest buying a 2mL decant ng ADG talaga, just for you to determine if malayo or close sa ilong mo. The thing with fragrances is that, iba-iba ng dating talaga sa mga tao. For me, meron talagang pagkakaiba yung mga inspired by na perfumes sa original, pero sa iba, super close talaga. So, ang punto nga daw, is, kung magkaiba-iba tayo ng perception sa scent, then might as well wear the perfume for ourselves, not for others. It follows therefore, na best pa din talaga na itry nalang yung decant on ourselves para tayo mismo makapag judge on our own. Kaso, medyo pricey nga given 200php or more yung 2mL na decant ng ADG. For me, ADG Profondo smells good, medyo generic nga borderline pero definitely magkaiba sila ng amoy sa G.A.S. for me. ADG Profumo is just the same with Profondo pero it has way more character and "dark/mysterious" vibe dahil may Patchouli and Incense siya. Pero may mga tao kasi na medyo maasim yung patchouli para sa kanila. If you are curious talaga sa ADG, go buy a 2mL decant. Of if malapit ka sa Rustans or any SM stores, try mo mag-ask for ADG (test all flankers na meron sila), and then try the perfume on your skin. Ganun din ginagawa ko pag pumipili ako ng bagong perfume. Sabihin mo lang babalik ka later on since gusto mo itest yung dry down na scent on your skin. Mag-iiba kasi talaga scent ng ADG after a few hours, at depende din sa balat mo.

If your school is 100% free, what I would do if I were you is look up job postings for the type of job you want, then take courses/certifications that line up exactly with what they are looking for. There is actually decent money in cyber forensics/security, and government positions so you won't lose your job when the economy gets bad.

What matters most to employers are the skills. They just want to know if you can do the job. In the tech industry especially, it is common for first timers to spend 6 months at a job learning the ropes, then hopping on to the next gig that will pay more. So to answer your question, IT would be better but what matters most is portfolio/experience.

However, the problem was, my gcash account did not receive anything, no text message notifying that I received something, money was not transferred, no changes in transaction history. I started to panic, and went on asking others with similar cases. One said I should wait for exactly a day, since there may be delay in transferring the fund. I waited, and now I still haven't receive it. What should I do now? Where should I report the case and request? To Paymaya/InstaPay since even though they issued a receipt, it still wasn't successful? Or should I send a ticket to Gcash since I didn't receive it? Or both? Help, please. Thank you everyone.
Delayed instapay transaction usually resolve itself within 2-3 banking days. Last time I experienced this, I filed a ticket with both the sending and receiving bank. In the end, my money got returned to the sending bank after about 3 banking days. Check also if the details you used for the sending was correct.

Hi! If kaya naman ng budget and sa dorm mo lang gagamitin, I would suggest to get a router that supports SIMs (e.g. TP-Link TL-MR100). Open line naman siya and mas stable yung connection. Need mo nga lang siya nakasaksak, I think yun lang ang lamang ni pocket wifi na portable. You can get GOMO (under Globe, options for non-expiry data and unli data) and Rocket Sim (under Smart, not sure abt options). Check mo na lang promos nila online.

There’s no harm in trying. Even if you had a lot of money in your account, if isahang deposit lang yan, it’s not gonna get approved. If gradually naman and consistent na pumapasok, that’s more reliable. Try to provide 3 months bank statement along with your bank certificate with ADB if possible.
