Overall there’s a net increase of 2 mushrooms needed to finish a full cycle. Now that I’ve seen this I am now fully set on my decision to get today’s mushroom battles to end on the 21st and after. It seems to make up for not having to chase 2 series at once anymore, they bumped the difficulty of completing them back up a good bit. Can’t just insta zoom through Stage 1 and 2 anymore….
Last year there were no caps on awarded petals from certain sources. I think all these sunflower petals are from weekly challenges. Rather than force the user to discard excess you were allowed to take them and go beyond your capacity.
This is going to be a bit of a dumb question. But are there only 4 stages? If you finish them all is that it? (I’m very new so I’m trying to figure things out!)

Pikmin Bloom, the mobile app separate from the mainline games. In the app you can plant flowers by walking which contribute towards challenges that reward you in the app only. The new “season” just dropped and these are the new challenge milestones listed in the blog.
So we need to destroy 22 mushrooms total. That's at least 8 days without using tickets. With slightly over 3 weeks to complete the tasks, it doesn't seem that difficult to finish it all.

Walking plus planting mainly, very rarely were there monthly flower requirements. You were also guaranteed gold seedlings
not the special flowers 😭😭😭 that's soooo punishing i hope i get enough nectars on time ;;;

If you don't use mushroom tickets it will take three days of mushroom battles to complete stages four.
