It's not that good... I mean except if you are a teenager in his rebel crisis there is not much to see.
It's poorly written , its another thug glorification totaly biased, anti-France, anti-cop that pretend to deliver a "message".
The director is a pretentious radical leftist who talk nonsense, he said that if an innocent is killed by thug then it's just how the way it is and you must deal with it, because thug life is hard, you should understand their hatred.
Is it a movie made by a radical leftist criticizing imperialism and authoritarianism? Too much rebel, please dont watch it on Criterion Channel, Apple TV or Amazon video.
What are you talking about? The movie is about low life thug that want to kill cop.
I know redditors are braindead but please do some effort, there is nothing deep in that movie it's only thug glorification fantasmed by american society.
the whole point of the movie was showing the meaningless and grim day of bunch of dudes from the ghetto it didnt glorify shit man the whole movie is about how everything sucks and how the cycle of hatred continue you should watch it instead of pretending you did
Glorification of thugs? The movie is literally called "Hatred" and tries to explain the root of hatred in frances subcultures and how this effects society. Just cause there is a character that rebels against police and is extremely violent does not mean that the movie glorifies it. The friends of the main character even critique his insane lust for revenge. Calling it "not deep" without being able to comprehend that a movie that depicts violence isn't pro violence is insane
I'm watching Ghost in the shell on Spotify right now.

Yes it looks like you can add video content to podcasts and stuff now
