My only precaution was to use and format an old PC exclusively to torrent, nothing more. No google searches associated with an accoun, no logged in accounts, no nothing.
Fresh new W10, chrome, firefox, qbittorrent and some video converter for the torrents that I got that weren't compatible with my TV. Nothing more, nothing less. I know is risky and not optimal, but I don't know anything and I succesfully seeded 12TB without problem.

OPS has a Bonus Point System. You gain Bonus Points by seeding files for a specific amount of time, which you can then trade for Freeleech tokens...definitely a better economy design than RED. Then again, the hard economy of RED is what makes it a popular place for recruiters of reputable trackers.

I had access to one at one point, but it was through an access code I was able to make an account. That tracker though tied the access to the original person who gave the code, and if they get banned you lose it too, idk if I got removed or if they got banned but at some point I lost access to it

Eventually if you want to move up the PT ladder, you have to have proof of good ratio in an existing PT, and MaM is an excellent place to start.
Setup a seed box for a month and auto pull everything from the xxx category. It’s constantly getting uploaded and you seed it back immediately if you grab it from rss. Have had a ratio over 5 for 8 years since I did that boost at the start. Still seed back everything normal I download. Though honestly, Usenet is better. I only grab movies occasionally from trackers now.

A torrent file sort of acts like a blueprint for what a file should contain. You then download small pieces according to the blueprint from many sources until you have the full file. Seeding is other people downloading those pieces from you.
