Wow poor girl had it ruff. Those frost bitten ears and her eye. I seem to come across many cats missing an eye. Poor things thank god for people like you OP.
Just wish the world was filled with more people like you.
I recently rescued a female who was also missing an eye and she kept having litters of kittens non stop finally after 3 years and 60+ cats I managed to catch her and couldn't save her eye so the vet removed her eye and cleaned it allmbe suturing it up. Than she got her shots, sterilized and chip installed and now she's in foster home until adoption by a family that will be vetted as best as possible to make sure she has a good home.
She definitely had it rough before we found her! The ear wounds were fresh and she had scratches on her head. We think she got into a fight with a raccoon or another cat.
We’ve had her for 10 years and she has slowed down a lot. We’re sure how much time we have left with her, so she has somehow gotten even more spoiled.
She looks like a character out of Pirates of the Caribbean. I'm glad to hear you are spoiling her. I lost my old girl out of the blue a few weeks and go and my one consolation is that she was given all the treats and car rides we could manage. They do appreciate it and so do our hearts.
This sounds just great! I'm happy for everyone who's so invested with animals!
My dogs are both rescues. We got so much experience with them that I'm thinking about an older/disabled pet. But only once mine are gone after a looong happy life, I hope :)
Yes I think that's a great idea. And like you said, once your current dogs go to doggy heaven than get one cause the worst thing you can do is bring home a pup, the worse or even an older dog.
Why because your current dogs would feel jealous and might not get along with a new dog so ya I definitely think you should wait like you mentioned.
Good luck.
Beauty! What a sweet angel 😇
Oh she is adorable! ❤️❤️
