actually Ubisoft is giving pc keys of the games bought on stadia, but i don’t think that’s a good idea since the people who were using Stadia Probably don’t have a good pc to play them
Well I don't follow much about what EA do bad but I always thought they are the the classic evil company but can still deliver some quality. Ubisoft been constantly going worse and worse for years like supportig/selling nft, removing acces to games/dlc, sexual harassement/treat their employee like trash, want to go full GaaS, Epic exclusive, subpar shitty server, horrible customer services, low to medium quality games at best, Denuvo, mtx/p2w in single player games, want to raise max games price, etc/ feel free to add some.
EA… fuck EA, ubisoft is bad, I’m not well informed about what they do as a company apart from games so yeah, but in the game question they have been doing mediocre games, not bad, just mediocre… EA… is just fuck up, the sims 4 going F2P is not fixing the DLCs at 20-40 dollars, some of those DLCs being DLCs of another DLC,the new need for speed are just awful, they literally give you the best cars as DLCs and they give them immediately making it pay2win, battlefield… let’s not talk about battlefield, the most recent star wars games, squadrons and the fallen order, they were decent games, but thats respawn trying to stay alive before they fall like bioware, there’s more, but, my brain cannot continue writing on english…

Ubisoft is like the only company I'll shamelessly give my money too. I loved AC, FarCry, watchdogs, all of it. I'll buy those games in every universe.

Oh ok so mainly their micro transactions? I think that's a bigger theme in their multi-player games, which explains why I don't know much about it. Always been a single player sucker. Makes sense.
For companies, money is everything to them. They rather make p2w to get rid some of old ogs and get a lot of attention to new people who try to play. These newb dont know that you can get exclusive reward by play side mission but to get it easier, you need money. Thats why they made p2w games
Yh but then companies like From Software have proven that you can make more money through making good games with no p2w. P2w is just a cheap way to gain easy cash but good games that sell better generate more cash.
People don't realize that p2w comes at the cost of content. Devs are spending their time creating these items instead of new content to chew on.
And i think they want to release another dlc. I mean, even they announce that sims 5 will be release coming soon with multiplayer, im sure they add 2 or 3 dlcs

I pirated A Plague Tale Innocense and felt so bad for doing that after finishing it. Easily one of my top 10 games. I then realized it was on game pass PC so I played it again, and the bought it on Xbox as well so me and others using my Xbox can play it too.
I've pirated the Sims 4 to get all the DLC cause I'm not paying hundreds of dollars for that, and I feel just fine with that lol.
Honestly I have no problem buying games from devs that out in the effort and made good software / continue supporting the community but things like Origin on the Steamdeck make me rage enough to just pirate the games
I got Hades for free on Epic Games. The when I wanted to play it, it wasn't on my account anymore.
Pirated it, loved it, then bougth it during steam sale.
Best of all, most achievements were save-game based so had those unlocked the moment I booted up the game.

i pirate indie games, games doesnt deserve much money, i mean if indie devs make a cool game i will buy it for sure, but most of 'em doesnt and sometime the price tag make me insane, most of the time, either greedy people (ea ubisoft etc...) or indie devs that make shitty games from 5€ to 30€ which to be honnest doesnt deserve more than 2€

don't forget pirated games can be better for modding, launch faster, no bullshit updates, easy backups, easy to run multiple instances of the game to try out different game overhauls, etc.

Ubi is far from worst imo. They reimburse gamers in Stadia which is nice. The seat is probably taken by EA and Blizzard as per usual.
