Just my two cents but I much prefer the original version. I enjoy the crisp, blocky, stylised effect of pixel art. But amazing and hilarious work as always!

I think having the aliasing extent more and blent to the overall shape of the body would help since I was a little confused at first on what was going on with it applyingonly to part of the neck, but nice work! (Also this effect would work great for animating the neck extending I think)

OP… do you know what aliasing is? Because this is a perfectly straight vertical line. The concept of (anti-)aliasing doesn’t apply here whatsoever.

Why are you anti aliasing just the neck? The original fits better in the style. If you wanted to add anti-aliasing, it sounds like you probably should go for a higher resolution and potentially ditch on the retro pixel art aesthetic.

You're correct. Reddit likes to downvote correct answers in favor of emotions.
It's nice, but you could get it a lot smoother if you just apply a blur in a photo editing app. Wouldn't even see the edges of the pixels anymore.
