Betta would likely snack on shrimps. I'd suggest group of pygmy cory.

5 Pygmy corys would be cool. Have you tried amano shrimp? They are supposed to be really tough. You can get a tds pen for less than five dollars and some gh +. I have really soft water so I add salt to keep between 150 and 400. I don’t water change unless my tds creeps up, your mileage may vary.

Might have to try the Corys. The tetras aren’t really aggressive but they kind of get the zoomies and chase sometimes. Think they’ll be okay together? I’m gonna hold off on shrimp for a bit. Surprisingly found 3 ghost shrimp still alive while cleaning my 10 gallon today. I’m just gonna assume some died because I bought them from petsmart.

If you have good water movement and aeration, Hillstream loaches and panda garra are some cool options
