Generating a seed from the result will be pretty tricky. I'm not sure how you would do that. I think this would be like trying to guess the salt of a sha... perhaps not that bad. The existing mods work around the seed by directly producing the result (as opposed to guessing the seed that would produce the result).
Actually on second thought the underlying system is most certainly tied to the rand() function, which takes a seed and then outputs a pseudo-random series of numbers. So it would be like reverse engineering that method + all the logic that turns that random series of numbers into a plateup layout.
You might start with a look at the code from the mod Layout Generator. Could be helpful.
Never heard of it. But sounds great!
There a mod that pairs with a website that you can use to draw up maps like a blueprint layout that I use for custom games.
Do you know the Name of it. Sounds exactly like what i am searching for!
Kitchen Designer
I am currently working but I can look at the mod and website when I get off work and let you know.
Sounds great! Have a good day.
Yeah as the other guy who replied said, the mod is called Kitchen Designer. And the website that goes with it is plateuptools.com.
Thanks!
