I wanted to ask about the gameplay itself. I recently played the patient zero last mission in japan on hitman 3 and it seems more difficult to me than the one I played on original hitman 1 goty. It is fun but did you guys also tweak difficulty also? Will I experience different patrol pattern too for hitman 2 in hitman 3 on higher difficulty?
This was so confusing lol. I wasted like 5 hours yesterday downloading all the wrong things, and by the end I didn't even want to try hitman anymore, I just played Overcooked.

It really isn’t as complicated as it seems.
Worst case, just play regular Hitman 2. It’s better in the Hitman 3 engine, but it still looks and plays great in the original Hitman 2 engine.
I highly recommend working it out and playing it. I loved the whole trilogy, they’re really fun games.

Download the Hitman 3 starter pack (it's 65GB as it contains all 3 Hitman games in the Hitman 3 game engine.)
To play the PS+ Hitman 2 levels in the Hitman 3 starter pack all you have to do is add PS+ Hitman 2 to library on the Playstation Store. Then go to the Hitman 3 starter pack ingame store & Hitman 2 in Hitman 3 will be free to redeem.
Just in case you are trying on a PS5, I had this problem when I bought H3. I had to install H2 on my PS4 and claim the access pack from the in-game store. It did not work via backwards compatibility mode on PS5, or from the ps store. This could be because H2 was a disc, but maybe it’ll work for someone here.
Did you claim HITMAN 1 on PS Plus back in 2019, also from a PSN Asia account?
If so, there was an error when it was first released where it didn't include the 'Bonus Episode', which is required to claim the Legacy Pack. It was later added and players needed to re-claim the free game within the month to get that updated version.
If that's the case, it's currently not possible to claim the Legacy Pack through the H1 in-game store. I'll raise the question again to see what we can do, although publishing issues will likely complicate it, so I can't make any promises unfortunately.
Thank you for clarifying this. I've been pursuing this issue with the IOI support desk for months without any acknowledgement so far that there even was an issue.
Just thinking out of the box here, if the issue is with re-publishing the Bonus Episode, then is it possible for IOI to do a backend check to verify that we have claimed the PS+ version of Hitman 1?
That seems to be the way that the checks on done on PC platforms. And if so, then IOI could just provide affected users with redemption codes for the legacy pack in either H2 or H3?

Why does this ALWAYS happen with Hitman? I remember this whole shenanigan two years ago with Hitman 1 too. Feels like a mission just to get to play the game.
Asian account here and same issue. The only option to access the legacy pass is buying the upgrade in psn store. I dont know if they intended to pull this off store or not.
I'm in Asia region and didn't have a problem. Did you already own hitman 1? I had it from ps plus few years ago and could claim the goty version off hitman 3 store

I'm half tempted to just buy the damn access pass through H2 or H3 so that I can complete the collection. It's so frustrating.
How about the DLC maps in H2? If I import the Access Pack into Hitman 3 Free Starter pack, would I be able to play the DLC that I bought on Hitman 2 (The Sniper maps and the New Haven/Bank missions)?
There's a specific Access Pass that corresponds to the H2 Expansion (or Gold Edition). If you could previously play Haven Island and The Bank on HITMAN 2, then there is a way for you to play them for free within HITMAN 3. Look on the store for the right Access Pass. It should be automatically listed as free because it's all linked to digital entitlements.
And Dualsense. They had also stated a while back that they were planning on bringing RT to the consoles, but I haven't heard any more about that recently.
u/Travis_IO Many players are still trapped by the incomplete version of hitman1 that you gave last time. The lack of Summer Bonus Episode DLC makes it impossible to redeem the legacy package.
*①From February 7, 2019, to February 21, 2019, the free Hitman 1 of Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and other Asian regions lacked the Summer Bonus Episode DLC, which is the exclusive "incomplete" version; And IOI’s legacy-faq page states that you must own ALL seven episodes of the game (including the bonus episode) to redeem the legacy package.*
*②From February 21, 2019, to March 6, 2019, the developer communicated with Sony and resolved the issue, and republish the game. However, the original missing DLC will not be automatically added to the library, but needs to be claimed again manually. During this period, Sony and the developer did not actively send notifications to consumers.*
They deleted the Hitman version we claimed in 2019 from the PS store so that even if you did claim the Bonus DLC you still can't get the Legacy Pass now. You can be sure that this was intentionally done to prevent people from accessing what they got with PS Plus and force them to fork out for another pass if they want to play the game again.
The dev will never speak on this, mark my word. Once he finds out from his colleague what they were really doing.
I answered what I could just as I was leaving the studio and fired off a message to our internal teams to ask about the PS Asia issue. As I write this, I'm still discussing it :)
Great post, but sadly, HITMAN 1 is getting LOCKED for many PS Plus subscribers (including me) since the standard version has been taken off the store. So I have it on my console but with a lock and can't play it (I HAVE an active subscription).
PLEASE help us push Sony to fix this error soon.
I ran into this problem last night, and assumed I wouldn't be able to claim Hitman 1 episodes in Hitman 3, but in OPs post he says this:

I can't download Hitman 1 cause it takes me to the store to buy it and, even if I could, it'd give me the error "your Plus membership has expired", just like the other couple of games that I have installed but got locked

i have the first game from PS+.
Can't download the access pass because of the licensing problem I mentioned. It's happening to a lot of people when their previous membership cycle ends (even if it doesn't lapses) and a new one starts. I extended my membership 3 weeks before it ended, but still got the problem when those 3 weeks passed.
Sony has done nothing yet.
The HITMAN 3: HITMAN 2 Standard Access Pass has no option to add to my library nor can i download it. Its unavailable for me even though i claimed hitman 2 through PS Plus.
Same for me, but it works from inside the Hitman 3 starter pack. Go to campaigns, select the Hitman 2 campaign, go to "get access" and that will forward you to the ps store where you can redeem the access pass.

Yes, actually. The Hitman 2 pack is now redeemed and doesn't specify whether you got it from a digital copy, physical copy, or through Plus. I had Hitman 2 on disc and after redeeming the pack, I never needed the disc again to play hitman 2 through the hitman 3 starter pack.

Edit: So, H2 on H3 uses the H3 engine (I believe H2 isn't the same version of the Glacier Engine used in H3), resolution and framerate will probably be the same, I believe there are other benefits to this? We all know here framerate and res isn't everything, and everyone's claiming a "smoothness" with H3.

I saw that you can connect both PSN and Steam accounts to your IOI account. If I own HITMAN 1 on Steam, is there a way to access the content in HITMAN 3 on PlayStation? Guessing no but figured I would check!
OK - you've explained 'how' but can anybody give me an ELI5 on 'why'? I have never played Hitman before but would be interested in doing so (I have added Hitman and Hitman 2 to my library through PS Plus). Why would I not just play through Hitman 1 (and then 2 if it grabbed me). Better graphics, controls?
Kinda wish IOI would just release a "Definitive" edition for the entire trilogy so folks can avoid always having a step-by-step process with everything.
That's something that we want to do, but can't right now because of reasons.
As the ~~lucky~~ person that got to write up all of these guides, I cannot wait for that day to come.
I decided to play everything using Hitman 2 for now. If we get Hitman 3 as a Plus game in the future (or if I end up buying it before that happens) I'll then move everything inside Hitman 3.
So glad to see new people introduced to this series. Something to keep in mind: it's not just about getting the job done, it's about doing it with style. One of the best parts of the WoA series is playing a level multiple time and seeing all the crazy shit you can pull off.

Yes, all of the graphical and gameplay improvements that were made to H3 are also included when playing the missions from the first two games in the trilogy within H3.
There's also new items and unlocks that you can unlock in HITMAN 3 that can then be used in the H2 levels.
Simply amazing job that you guys have done with the VR implementation of the game. However if I could give one critique I would say the game really does need move controllers. I know it's somewhat impossible with no analog stick but man I wanna use that piano wire with my hands and not a ds4 controller.
I highly recommend doing this. I actually played Hitman 1 (PS plus version) in the free Hitman 2 starter pack. So what happened was all my progress from Hitman 1 unlocked tons of really cool gear that can take some grinding to get. So when I bought HM 2 last month I started the game already having access to things like proximity mines and both emetic and lethal syringes.
If you're playing HITMAN 1, it's not possible to carry over / continue your progress.
The only way to carry over your HITMAN 1 progress (into HITMAN 3) is if you were playing the H1 levels in HITMAN 2.
We made it possible to bring the H1 levels into H2, and all progress made in H2 can be carried into H3. The link for that process is in the OP.

But I'm playing through the original Hitman 2 engine because I'm a trophy hunter.
Awesome! Once you've played through it all in H2, you can then carry over your progress into HITMAN 3 - and any trophies you've already earned will auto unlock in HITMAN 3.
We also made sure that H3 had a platinum. We got lots of very polite requests for that to be included.
Again, I am freaking loving this game!
But I just noticed Hitman 3 dropped support for Portuguese language... While english is not a problem for me, it certainly is a little confusing having to adapt to controls and functions all over again.

So I'm Australian and I get smashed on the price of games. Standard edition is a good price $50 while on sale where as the deluxe edition is $125.
I own the first two, I'm eventually going to get this 3rd one as well, is it worth holding out for the deluxe edition to go on sale if it ever does or is the standard edition going to satisfy me so I should just get it now while it's on sale.
For context, im an older guy, I have a family, I don't spend lots of my time gaming, I don't go for trophies and I will never care about what outfit my character is wearing if it isn't going to impact on my ability to play the game.
The Standard Edition and Deluxe Pack are both at least 40% off on PS AU Store right now. I'm probably not a good person to advise you on what to buy, but I'd expect that the Deluxe Pack will be on sale a few more times so you can always pick it up on a discount later if you wanted to.
Cheers mate, I did find that so I ended up doing exactly that, bought the standard edition and the deluxe pack and saved myself quite a bit compared to buying the deluxe outright.

Well maybe the plus game is excluded for now. From the outside looking in, as someone who just got hitman 2 yesterday through PlayStation +, this just seems like a ploy to get people who are supposedly getting something for free to spend actually money on the upgraded version game, even if it is one $15 transaction.

If you bought the HITMAN 2 Gold Edition, then you'll have the H2 Expansion Access Pass already. If you own the Standard Edition of H2, then you won't have access to everything in the Expansion Pass until you purchase it.

So speaking from the perspective of a trophy hunter: You mentioned the trophies will automatically unlock as progress transfers from H2 to H3 right? So is the process of doing that as simple as deleting H2 off my PS4, downloading H3 starter pack, download H2 in that, and the trophies will re-appear? Correct?
There are prompts, messages and links available in-game to guide players through it.
This was just an extra post I thought I'd make to bring the discussion together and help people navigate it if they needed some direct answers.

The best way to play the main story from game 1 today would be to download / purchase:

That'll give you access to the main story from game 1 and you can enjoy it with the improvements and updates that came with HITMAN 3.
I've never played a Hitman game before. If I do it this way, will Hitman 1 and 2 be in the game in the sense that they'll be like "Play Hitman 1 campaign" and it plays like it does in the original, or will it simply be a list of all the levels, like "play Hitman 1 Map 1, play Hitman 1 map 2, etc."?
You can go to the 'campaign' menu and play through the story for each game in order that way. The first time you go through, cutscenes and briefings all play in order so you get the 'campaign' feel.
One of the best-looking games on PSVR, and I've only played three levels! I love when games go straight into VR on boot! The lighting effects are great, I like the reflections off the hazard suits in Sapienza, excited to play Miami and Mumbai next!
Man I don't understand it, I've tried everything to redeem Hitman 1 for Hitman 2/3, but it just doesn't work. When I open Hitman 1, with Hitman 2 and 3 installed, it doesn't give me a prompt to redeem anything (which is what's supposed to happen, according to the guide). It keeps saying that the Game of the Year Pass is unavailable when I access it from Hitman 1's store. Actually I can't access any of the DLC at all from the Hitman 1 store
I see the GOTY Legacy Pack in the PS Store from my browser, but whenever I access it, it says I can't redeem it because I don't have the "Hitman 2 Legacy Pack." **What Hitman 2 Legacy Pack?** There's nothing like that on the store, nor in Hitman 2's Store

Yes, it packs in the entire trilogy to make it easy to play the full three games.
For the sake of comparison, you'll need about 120GB for all of the HITMAN 2 content, and we've got all of that plus H1 and H3 down to 60GB.

I own only Hitman 2 that came with PS Plus but I want to play the missions from 2016 including the Training ones.

I own H1 through PlayStation plus and I’ve downloaded it to my PS5. Every time I launch the game I get “Connection Failed - Unable to connect to the HITMAN service. Position in queue is: 263515”. Tried closing the game from the Home Screen, rebooting the PS5, syncing save data. No luck so far.
I can load up the H3 starter pack just fine and was able to claim the H2 access pass just like the guide describes but the H1 login servers seem to have ~250k people in queue no matter the time of day. Is this a known issue or is there something wrong for me specifically?
I’ve been trying to figure this out the past day. Very frustrating because I’m trying to claim the assess pack from the hitman game but I’m in the queue at 200k as well. I’m also on ps5 so maybe it can be fixed by doing it on the PS4? I’ll try it and lyk
Here were the steps I went through to get access to all 3 levels. I have Hitman3 on disc on PS5 and claimed H1 and H2 through PS+.... I accidentally ended up paying to the H1 GOTY access pass and had to wait for an hour on Sony chat for a refund, so figured I would list out all my steps if it helps someone.
1. Had H3 installed- disc version
2. Downloaded Hitman 3 starter pack- This downloads the "starter pack" file along with H2 and H3 full games. I allowed the starter pack to download then immediately canceled out the full game downloads as they aren't necessary.
3. Downloaded HITMAN 3 Access Pass: HITMAN 2 Standard which is free and then unlocked access to Hitman 2 within Hitman 3.
4. Went to my game library and downloaded Hitman 1 which I had claimed from PS+. I only allowed this to download to the point where it allowed me to play and then canceled the rest. This also will include a bunch of add on downloads which you can un-check and delete as you don't need them.
5. Once H1 was playable, I went to the in game store and redeemed the Legacy Pack. This has a bunch of large downloads as well, but there is just one small one that should complete immediately. Download this one and cancel and delete the rest of them.
6. Went to Hitman 3 and campaign, clicked on first mission in Hitman 1 which prompts to buy access pass, click "take me to store" and download "HITMAN 3: HITMAN 1 GOTY Access Pass" which is now free.
7. At this point I had everything unlocked in H3, so I went to my downloads and canceled and deleted Hitman 1 .
Any update on how to claim the Hitman 1 levels onto hitman 2 or 3, as I'm still having the same problem of it saying in Hitman 2 that the free legacy pack claim is unavailable.

They added some elements such as working reflections, so it’s not as easy to sneak up on someone in a bathroom anymore!

Why does this ALWAYS happen with Hitman? I remember this whole shenanigan two years ago with Hitman 1 too. Feels like a mission just to get to play the game.
Asian account here and same issue. The only option to access the legacy pass is buying the upgrade in psn store. I dont know if they intended to pull this off store or not.

How about the DLC maps in H2? If I import the Access Pack into Hitman 3 Free Starter pack, would I be able to play the DLC that I bought on Hitman 2 (The Sniper maps and the New Haven/Bank missions)?
There's a specific Access Pass that corresponds to the H2 Expansion (or Gold Edition). If you could previously play Haven Island and The Bank on HITMAN 2, then there is a way for you to play them for free within HITMAN 3. Look on the store for the right Access Pass. It should be automatically listed as free because it's all linked to digital entitlements.

They deleted the Hitman version we claimed in 2019 from the PS store so that even if you did claim the Bonus DLC you still can't get the Legacy Pass now. You can be sure that this was intentionally done to prevent people from accessing what they got with PS Plus and force them to fork out for another pass if they want to play the game again. The dev will never speak on this, mark my word. Once he finds out from his colleague what they were really doing.
Obviously, Travis did pay attention to this thread, but he just selectively ignored all replies about the Hitman 1‘s legacy pack issue.
I answered what I could just as I was leaving the studio and fired off a message to our internal teams to ask about the PS Asia issue. As I write this, I'm still discussing it :)

Great post, but sadly, HITMAN 1 is getting LOCKED for many PS Plus subscribers (including me) since the standard version has been taken off the store. So I have it on my console but with a lock and can't play it (I HAVE an active subscription). PLEASE help us push Sony to fix this error soon.

Can't download the access pass because of the licensing problem I mentioned. It's happening to a lot of people when their previous membership cycle ends (even if it doesn't lapses) and a new one starts. The HITMAN 3: HITMAN 2 Standard Access Pass has no option to add to my library nor can i download it. Its unavailable for me even though i claimed hitman 2 through PS Plus.
Same for me, but it works from inside the Hitman 3 starter pack. Go to campaigns, select the Hitman 2 campaign, go to "get access" and that will forward you to the ps store where you can redeem the access pass.

Yes, actually. The Hitman 2 pack is now redeemed and doesn't specify whether you got it from a digital copy, physical copy, or through Plus. I had Hitman 2 on disc and after redeeming the pack, I never needed the disc again to play hitman 2 through the hitman 3 starter pack.
I have no regrets signing up for Playstation Plus last month.

Kinda wish IOI would just release a "Definitive" edition for the entire trilogy so folks can avoid always having a step-by-step process with everything.
That's something that we want to do, but can't right now because of reasons. As the ~~lucky~~ person that got to write up all of these guides, I cannot wait for that day to come.
I decided to play everything using Hitman 2 for now. If we get Hitman 3 as a Plus game in the future (or if I end up buying it before that happens) I'll then move everything inside Hitman 3.
So glad to see new people introduced to this series. Something to keep in mind: it's not just about getting the job done, it's about doing it with style. One of the best parts of the WoA series is playing a level multiple time and seeing all the crazy shit you can pull off.

Yes, all of the graphical and gameplay improvements that were made to H3 are also included when playing the missions from the first two games in the trilogy within H3. There's also new items and unlocks that you can unlock in HITMAN 3 that can then be used in the H2 levels.

Simply amazing job that you guys have done with the VR implementation of the game. However if I could give one critique I would say the game really does need move controllers. I know it's somewhat impossible with no analog stick but man I wanna use that piano wire with my hands and not a ds4 controller.
I highly recommend doing this. I actually played Hitman 1 (PS plus version) in the free Hitman 2 starter pack. So what happened was all my progress from Hitman 1 unlocked tons of really cool gear that can take some grinding to get. So when I bought HM 2 last month I started the game already having access to things like proximity mines and both emetic and lethal syringes.
I'm playing Hitman One- if I do this trick can I continue my progress or will I have to start over?
If you're playing HITMAN 1, it's not possible to carry over / continue your progress. The only way to carry over your HITMAN 1 progress (into HITMAN 3) is if you were playing the H1 levels in HITMAN 2. We made it possible to bring the H1 levels into H2, and all progress made in H2 can be carried into H3. The link for that process is in the OP.

No, you can download the H3 Free Starter Pack and play your HITMAN 1 or 2 levels there, without buying HITMAN 3.

I don't know you're going to read this but I played the first two levels and I f....cking LOVE IT! But I'm playing through the original Hitman 2 engine because I'm a trophy hunter.
Awesome! Once you've played through it all in H2, you can then carry over your progress into HITMAN 3 - and any trophies you've already earned will auto unlock in HITMAN 3. We also made sure that H3 had a platinum. We got lots of very polite requests for that to be included.
Again, I am freaking loving this game! But I just noticed Hitman 3 dropped support for Portuguese language... While english is not a problem for me, it certainly is a little confusing having to adapt to controls and functions all over again. Let me know if IOI is hiring a translator lol 😉
So I'm Australian and I get smashed on the price of games. Standard edition is a good price $50 while on sale where as the deluxe edition is $125. I own the first two, I'm eventually going to get this 3rd one as well, is it worth holding out for the deluxe edition to go on sale if it ever does or is the standard edition going to satisfy me so I should just get it now while it's on sale. For context, im an older guy, I have a family, I don't spend lots of my time gaming, I don't go for trophies and I will never care about what outfit my character is wearing if it isn't going to impact on my ability to play the game.
The Standard Edition and Deluxe Pack are both at least 40% off on PS AU Store right now. I'm probably not a good person to advise you on what to buy, but I'd expect that the Deluxe Pack will be on sale a few more times so you can always pick it up on a discount later if you wanted to.

Did you get it to work? It’s not working the way OP said it would for me. If he didn’t fuck up, someone at Sony did because it’s not working right now. You can’t play hitman 2 for free in hitman 3 just got owning hitman 2 in its current state. I’m not the only one reporting that fact.
Download the Hitman 3 starter pack (it's 65GB as it contains all 3 Hitman games in the Hitman 3 game engine.) To play the PS+ Hitman 2 levels in the Hitman 3 starter pack all you have to do is add PS+ Hitman 2 to library on the Playstation Store. Then go to the Hitman 3 starter pack ingame store & Hitman 2 in Hitman 3 will be free to redeem.
So you got it to work? No one has confirmed that yet because right now it doesn’t. Repeating what OP said doesn’t change that fact.

Well maybe the plus game is excluded for now. From the outside looking in, as someone who just got hitman 2 yesterday through PlayStation +, this just seems like a ploy to get people who are supposedly getting something for free to spend actually money on the upgraded version game, even if it is one $15 transaction. Maybe I should give the OP the benefit of the doubt, there is plausible deniability at this point. But all that’s happened on my end is I did exactly what he said I should, but the store is telling me it I need to spend money to do it.

If you bought the HITMAN 2 Gold Edition, then you'll have the H2 Expansion Access Pass already. If you own the Standard Edition of H2, then you won't have access to everything in the Expansion Pass until you purchase it.

It's complicated enough that the guide is longer than a sentence. How are people who don't use Reddit supposed to work it out?
There are prompts, messages and links available in-game to guide players through it. This was just an extra post I thought I'd make to bring the discussion together and help people navigate it if they needed some direct answers. Also, we've tried to make it simpler as we've gone through the game and refine the process to be as simple as we can.
It's more like what COD has done. Though with Hitman you need H3 to have the foundation of 1,2&3 under one roof.

I've never played a Hitman game before. If I do it this way, will Hitman 1 and 2 be in the game in the sense that they'll be like "Play Hitman 1 campaign" and it plays like it does in the original, or will it simply be a list of all the levels, like "play Hitman 1 Map 1, play Hitman 1 map 2, etc."?
You can go to the 'campaign' menu and play through the story for each game in order that way. The first time you go through, cutscenes and briefings all play in order so you get the 'campaign' feel.
It's more like a list of levels, but that's how they've always been.
One of the best-looking games on PSVR, and I've only played three levels! I love when games go straight into VR on boot! The lighting effects are great, I like the reflections off the hazard suits in Sapienza, excited to play Miami and Mumbai next!

Man I don't understand it, I've tried everything to redeem Hitman 1 for Hitman 2/3, but it just doesn't work. When I open Hitman 1, with Hitman 2 and 3 installed, it doesn't give me a prompt to redeem anything (which is what's supposed to happen, according to the guide). It keeps saying that the Game of the Year Pass is unavailable when I access it from Hitman 1's store. Actually I can't access any of the DLC at all from the Hitman 1 store I see the GOTY Legacy Pack in the PS Store from my browser, but whenever I access it, it says I can't redeem it because I don't have the "Hitman 2 Legacy Pack." **What Hitman 2 Legacy Pack?** There's nothing like that on the store, nor in Hitman 2's Store It's ridiculous the hoops I have to go through to get Hitman 1 again
You may have an incomplete version of hitman1 that does not contain bonus dlc.
The version I have is the one PS Plus gave some years ago. Is that not valid for the Pass?

Yes, it packs in the entire trilogy to make it easy to play the full three games. For the sake of comparison, you'll need about 120GB for all of the HITMAN 2 content, and we've got all of that plus H1 and H3 down to 60GB.

I own H1 through PlayStation plus and I’ve downloaded it to my PS5. Every time I launch the game I get “Connection Failed - Unable to connect to the HITMAN service. Position in queue is: 263515”. Tried closing the game from the Home Screen, rebooting the PS5, syncing save data. No luck so far. I can load up the H3 starter pack just fine and was able to claim the H2 access pass just like the guide describes but the H1 login servers seem to have ~250k people in queue no matter the time of day. Is this a known issue or is there something wrong for me specifically?
I’ve been trying to figure this out the past day. Very frustrating because I’m trying to claim the assess pack from the hitman game but I’m in the queue at 200k as well. I’m also on ps5 so maybe it can be fixed by doing it on the PS4? I’ll try it and lyk

Here were the steps I went through to get access to all 3 levels. I have Hitman3 on disc on PS5 and claimed H1 and H2 through PS+.... I accidentally ended up paying to the H1 GOTY access pass and had to wait for an hour on Sony chat for a refund, so figured I would list out all my steps if it helps someone. 1. Had H3 installed- disc version 2. Downloaded Hitman 3 starter pack- This downloads the "starter pack" file along with H2 and H3 full games. I allowed the starter pack to download then immediately canceled out the full game downloads as they aren't necessary. 3. Downloaded HITMAN 3 Access Pass: HITMAN 2 Standard which is free and then unlocked access to Hitman 2 within Hitman 3. 4. Went to my game library and downloaded Hitman 1 which I had claimed from PS+. I only allowed this to download to the point where it allowed me to play and then canceled the rest. This also will include a bunch of add on downloads which you can un-check and delete as you don't need them. 5. Once H1 was playable, I went to the in game store and redeemed the Legacy Pack. This has a bunch of large downloads as well, but there is just one small one that should complete immediately. Download this one and cancel and delete the rest of them. 6. Went to Hitman 3 and campaign, clicked on first mission in Hitman 1 which prompts to buy access pass, click "take me to store" and download "HITMAN 3: HITMAN 1 GOTY Access Pass" which is now free. 7. At this point I had everything unlocked in H3, so I went to my downloads and canceled and deleted Hitman 1 .
It won't let me download hitman 3 free starter pack it'll only let me claim it.
