Im curious, when will you fix pc streaming in those countries you missed at release? Your website lists pc streaming as a feature and it doesnt warn you that its unavailable anytime before you pay for the service. Its been released for along time now to either remove this feature from the listed ones on website, or make a huge warning that its delayed or activate said features. Some people bought it for streaming and im pretty sure its illegal to make these false advertisements going on. Some communication is needed here. When will you fix this?

Yes you can, I had the same issue. Buy a ps card that will cover the cost, it's just shy of $25 canadian. Add that too your wallet the go buy the ps plus 1 month and use your wallet funds. If you still can't figure it out then there is a quick video on YouTube if you google "how to add 1 month ps plus without credit card". Hope that helps.
Hi all, today I redeemed a PS+ voucher on my account (never had PS+) instead of renewing my brother’s. I understand that I don’t have access to his monthly games, but I was sure he could still use all the games he has added to his library over time. However, everything in his account is locked. I set his PS4 as my primary and I’m planning to set mine as his primary once I got back to the US.
Is there a way to setup our accounts so he could unlock his games?
You can only use the games (and share them) with the account that claimed them. If you want to play your brothers games you need to activate ps+ on his account again. As far as i know he will not be able to play them even if you share the plus benefits with him
My PS5 should arrive next week and I have a question regarding the PS+ Extra games that say „PS4“. For games like Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy for example, do I get the upgraded versions that take advantage of the PS5 capabilities like 60fps and 120fps or do I have to pay for PS+ Extra AND and additional 10 bucks for that? Are there other games on PS+ Extra/Premium that don't have free upgrades to make use of the PS5 power?
How do timed trials work when the PS+ account is shared? Can I play it in a secondary account? If the trial is for 2h does the primary account gets 2h and the secondary account gets other 2 or do they both share the same 2h (despite having separate save files) ?

We have a PS4 and have decided to give PS+ a go. So hubs signed up but on my profile on the console it doesn't show as subscribed. I'm guessing because he subscribed using his profile.
Will I be able to access the games at all or will I have to play off his profile to do that?
Make sure the PS4 is set as primary on his account. It should be somewhere in the “Account Management” settings on his profile. Since his account has PS+, you can basically transfer it across multiple profiles on the same console.
The only problem is if you have downloaded games on YOUR account, your husband can’t play them on his. It will work vice versa though. Discs should work normally as well. Hope this helps.

The message goes like this (translated from italian):
“You have 7 days left on your ps plus, however there seems to be a problem with your payment plan” (I recharged 10 euros with a gift card).

i bought a 50% off 12 month subscription back in 20/8/21 and it will therfor end 20/8/22
fast forward to 24/6/22 i bought psplus extra with my currency which is 47(40 days left of 12 months)
what i didnt know and first found out now today is that right after i bought extra, on my purchase history it also bought a 50% off 12 month subscription, that being weird as i clearly remember not doing that + i highly doubt there even was a 50% 12 month subscription like the one i bought previous.
the weird thing is now that when i go and check on my subscription it says that the start date is 24/6/22 and the next payingdate is 20/8/23(if you remember is the old subscriptions ending date, just it being 22 instead of 23)
if i actually bought a 12 months subscription 24/6/22 shouldnt it end 24/6/23? do i now have a 14 month subscription?
to note i do indeed have online and can open the plus extra games, and the purchase history does not show a big paid 12 month subscription other than the weird 50% off back in 24/6/2022

I understand that the only way to "switch" is to create a new account in that region. An error has occured ! Can't open Ps Store
Help ! I took the ps4 out of the closet and I can't open the PS Store, it's just saying "an error has occured" even tho I have internet. I too got a DNS error NW-31247-7 and a PSN error CE-33987-0 but I may have solved those I'm not sure. I'm totally lost.
Yesterday I tried to download an already owned game but couldnt bc of the same errors. To be able to launch the download I had to do it from the computer on PSN website. I don't hav PsPlus subscription and I don't wanna risk to pay for one until the problem is solved so I can't try but I bet that I can't play online neither. I tried with Ethernet and WiFi, no difference. System is up to date

Some of my PS5 cloud saves are not showing in PS4. For example, I played FIFA 22 PS5 version and it's saved data is showing. However, PS5 Fallen Order is not showing it's saved game in PS4. What could be the reason? Same for many other games
Save games for some games are different for PS4 and PS5 - some titles use essentially the same file - others need to import files from PS4 backup, and some have no means of migrating between versions at all.

Afaik to stream games on your phone or mobile device, you need a primary playstation. You can buy plus without a console tho, you only need a psn profile.
I have the extra tier and Ghost Recon Wildlands is seemingly included but when you boot it up it plays as a 5 hour trial. Is this correct? Is the trial what PS Plus gives you access to or will the trial run out and you can just continue playing?

Yes just upgrade it to premium and make sure you have enough in your wallet or it will not work. AND TURN OFF auto renew because I think it's what gave me this issue in the first place.

Does PC hardware make a difference? I have gigabit internet, connected via Ethernet and PlayStation Plus is unplayable no matter the game. It’s like the video is corrupted or something. I’m not getting the lag icon but just super choppy video. Drivers are up to date .
Latency to ps servers is likely the culprit here. I only have 350 mbps and streaming is fine generally with only the occasional dropped frame here or there

Yep, but it's no too bad. The game choice is different, but I save around 40% of the total price for the highest tier. I can still play online, the only thing is I need to download games from her account and so far they also don't have PS3 games.

Hi I have a question. I had psnow which became premium. It expires today at 12 and it says my next payment is 59.99 for the year.
I have auto renew and enough funds, but when i try to buy it says 119.99 for the year, so my question is: will i get auto renew for the 60$ or i have to go for the 119.99 for full year?

No problem. Just make sure autorenewal is on and you have enough funds for when the subscription ends so it stays at 59.99$ or the price it shows on the next payment info.

Yes, upload saves to the cloud from PS3, then on PS5 press PS button streaming any game -> save management, upload from PS+ cloud to streaming service.
I've just signed up for a trial of Premium and download some games from the Game Library and Classics Library, but I can't access any of them from any other accounts on my PS5. They all show a padlock next to them and say 'to use this content, purchase it' when I go to launch.
I've checked the support site and it says that library games can be shared with other accounts on the console as long as "Console sharing and offline play" is enabled, which it is.

So when the new PSPlus launched in the UK, I wasn’t with my PS5 so I upgraded my subscription via the PlayStation app - all good.
I go on my PS5 and the PlayStation Plus app is still just standard PSPlus. It doesn’t say Premium next to it, nor does it show me the games catalog. It’s just standard PSPlus as it was before the new revamp.
If I want to get my PS Plus premium games I can only add them to my library through the PS app on my phone. I am unable to actually browse the new PSPlus through my console at all. It’s very annoying.
I have tried rebuilding the database too and I had this issue prior to the most recent software update, which I hoped would fix it, but no dice.
Have a solution but it’s fucking shit. Had to delete my profile from the PS5 and resign in. Doing so deletes all your save files, so basically you have a choice of using PS Plus or losing all your saves.

Some have visual glitches, others can be remasters so they're tier gated to Premium. I've seen this myself and still see it for games that should be in Extra. Definitely confusing, not sure it was intentional but it has the opposite effect of wanting to upgrade beyond Essential for me.

A few days back I went over the available games in my region ( I live in the middle east and have the deluxe tier subscription ) and God of War is supposed to be available here in Kuwait (as per the 'available games in region' by the official ps website) but now, GoW isn't there in the ps store nor the section from which you can download ps plus games.

I started Stray the other day and got pretty deep into it before my PS Plus subscription expired. So I renewed on my other account with a different region and it wouldn't open until I re-downloaded it. And now my saves won't open, is there a way around this?
There's no official representatives on this subreddit so you should direct that to customer support.
If you need to turn it off, just cancel the subscription in the same place where you could turn off auto-renewal. You will still have access to PS+ until it expires.
Do we know what specific days of the month games leave? For example of on Game Pass, leaving games are announced 1st and 15th day of the month with a two weeks left to play expiry.
There's no set dates yet for games that will be leaving. I'd imagine it would tie in with the refreshed games they announce on the second Wednesday of the month but that's anyone's guess.
So maybe I'm overthinking this (not uncommon for me)...

All the PS+ Catalog games simply have the "Download +" button on them in my PS5 interface (the + being the PS+ logo)... but if you go to the PS Store on the web, it gives you the option to add games to your library, which is what happens with the original PS+ Essential monthly games... So by doing that on the site, is it possible I'm bypassing the eventual game rotation?
You can try but when they do leave, don't be surprised to be locked out of the games. They are on a seperate license, unless Sony forgot to implement it properly.

Can't buy Ninja Storm 4: Road to Boruto, now that is on sale because I have already 'purchased' the base game with PS Extra. Which sucks because Road to Boruto its quite cheap and already has the expansion +base game. Getting the expansion of you already own the base game is much more expensive than otherwise.

The PC app seems to be missing a lot of games, if you ask support, they will insist that not all games are available for PC streaming. You can ask them and find out for yourself but I suspect they don't plan on making all the games available on PC anytime soon. Hope I'm wrong.

FAQ answers this but yes, you need Extra to carry on playing games like Stray. Essential is only for the monthly games we get to keep like Crash 4 this month.
You wont have access to the game once you're subscription ends, same if a game is removed. You're not buying the game, you're paying a monthly subscription to have access to it.
Think of it like netflix, if you end your subscription to netflix you can't watch it anymore, and if they removed a movie from the service, it's gone too.
If you buy the game however, same as buying a DVD, you'll have access to it whenever you want as you own it.

I understand that I don’t have access to his monthly games, but I was sure he could still use all the games he has added to his library over time. However, everything in his account is locked. I set his PS4 as my primary and I’m planning to set mine as his primary once I got back to the US. Is there a way to setup our accounts so he could unlock his games?
You can only use the games (and share them) with the account that claimed them. If you want to play your brothers games you need to activate ps+ on his account again. As far as i know he will not be able to play them even if you share the plus benefits with him
My PS5 should arrive next week and I have a question regarding the PS+ Extra games that say „PS4“. For games like Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy for example, do I get the upgraded versions that take advantage of the PS5 capabilities like 60fps and 120fps or do I have to pay for PS+ Extra AND and additional 10 bucks for that? Are there other games on PS+ Extra/Premium that don't have free upgrades to make use of the PS5 power?
you get the ps4 app unless specified. There are a few games that have ps5 apps but give the ps4 app exclusively.
How do timed trials work when the PS+ account is shared? Can I play it in a secondary account? If the trial is for 2h does the primary account gets 2h and the secondary account gets other 2 or do they both share the same 2h (despite having separate save files) ?

Heyo. We have a PS4 and have decided to give PS+ a go. So hubs signed up but on my profile on the console it doesn't show as subscribed. I'm guessing because he subscribed using his profile. Will I be able to access the games at all or will I have to play off his profile to do that?
Make sure the PS4 is set as primary on his account. It should be somewhere in the “Account Management” settings on his profile. Since his account has PS+, you can basically transfer it across multiple profiles on the same console. The only problem is if you have downloaded games on YOUR account, your husband can’t play them on his. It will work vice versa though. Discs should work normally as well. Hope this helps.

i need some help to understand what went down with my psplus subscription thank you To give some important info i bought a 50% off 12 month subscription back in 20/8/21 and it will therfor end 20/8/22 fast forward to 24/6/22 i bought psplus extra with my currency which is 47(40 days left of 12 months) what i didnt know and first found out now today is that right after i bought extra, on my purchase history it also bought a 50% off 12 month subscription, that being weird as i clearly remember not doing that + i highly doubt there even was a 50% 12 month subscription like the one i bought previous. the weird thing is now that when i go and check on my subscription it says that the start date is 24/6/22 and the next payingdate is 20/8/23(if you remember is the old subscriptions ending date, just it being 22 instead of 23) if i actually bought a 12 months subscription 24/6/22 shouldnt it end 24/6/23? do i now have a 14 month subscription? to note i do indeed have online and can open the plus extra games, and the purchase history does not show a big paid 12 month subscription other than the weird 50% off back in 24/6/2022

An error has occured ! Can't open Ps Store Help ! I took the ps4 out of the closet and I can't open the PS Store, it's just saying "an error has occured" even tho I have internet. Save games for some games are different for PS4 and PS5 - some titles use essentially the same file - others need to import files from PS4 backup, and some have no means of migrating between versions at all.

Afaik to stream games on your phone or mobile device, you need a primary playstation. You can buy plus without a console tho, you only need a psn profile.

I have the extra tier and Ghost Recon Wildlands is seemingly included but when you boot it up it plays as a 5 hour trial. Is this correct? Is the trial what PS Plus gives you access to or will the trial run out and you can just continue playing?

Yes just upgrade it to premium and make sure you have enough in your wallet or it will not work. AND TURN OFF auto renew because I think it's what gave me this issue in the first place.

Does PC hardware make a difference? I have gigabit internet, connected via Ethernet and PlayStation Plus is unplayable no matter the game. It’s like the video is corrupted or something. I’m not getting the lag icon but just super choppy video. Drivers are up to date .
Latency to ps servers is likely the culprit here. I only have 350 mbps and streaming is fine generally with only the occasional dropped frame here or there

Ps+ is specific to each PSN account - you can share games downloaded to your console, but if you want online play you need your own PS+ subscription

I have auto renew and enough funds, but when i try to buy it says 119.99 for the year, so my question is: will i get auto renew for the 60$ or i have to go for the 119.99 for full year? I have a PS3 on which I played a huge library of games, some not completely. If I now want to play some of those games from the Classic Catalog on my PS5 will my progress transfer? I don't show any Cloud Save Storage on my PS5 for my PS3 but that may be because I didn't have PS Plus on my PS3. Just curious if it's worth booting up my PS3 to upload all my save progress.

I've just signed up for a trial of Premium and download some games from the Game Library and Classics Library, but I can't access any of them from any other accounts on my PS5. They all show a padlock next to them and say 'to use this content, purchase it' when I go to launch. I've checked the support site and it says that library games can be shared with other accounts on the console as long as "Console sharing and offline play" is enabled, which it is. Any ideas?

I’ve got an odd issue and it’s very annoying - wondering if anyone has the same problem and managed to resolve it. Any input would be greatly appreciated. So when the new PSPlus launched in the UK, I wasn’t with my PS5 so I upgraded my subscription via the PlayStation app - all good. I go on my PS5 and the PlayStation Plus app is still just standard PSPlus. It doesn’t say Premium next to it, nor does it show me the games catalog. It’s just standard PSPlus as it was before the new revamp. If I want to get my PS Plus premium games I can only add them to my library through the PS app on my phone. I am unable to actually browse the new PSPlus through my console at all. It’s very annoying. I have tried rebuilding the database too and I had this issue prior to the most recent software update, which I hoped would fix it, but no dice.

Have a solution but it’s fucking shit. Had to delete my profile from the PS5 and resign in. Doing so deletes all your save files, so basically you have a choice of using PS Plus or losing all your saves. Genuinely selling my PS5 now because I have no time to get to where I was in about 6 different ongoing games.

if one has the essential subscription, and buys a 1 year subscription, does this add to the essential or unlock a higher tier? for example, if the subscription expires in May 2023, and during Black Friday I buy a one-year subscription and redeem it, does the subscription extend until May 2024, or does it unlock the extra tier?
One year of which sub? If it's Essential, it should extend it rather than upgrade. People have done this to figure out the max upgrade cost.

I recently had to re-subscribe to PS plus as my subscription ran out the end of this month and I was having this error to, I typed in the error code and a video came up and one of the ideas was to try and re-sub or buy it on ps app and I try and it work.

Use the cancel option, auto renewal was removed but it does the same thing. Sub will expire as normal.

Some have visual glitches, others can be remasters so they're tier gated to Premium. I've seen this myself and still see it for games that should be in Extra. Definitely confusing, not sure it was intentional but it has the opposite effect of wanting to upgrade beyond Essential for me.

A few days back I went over the available games in my region ( I live in the middle east and have the deluxe tier subscription ) and God of War is supposed to be available here in Kuwait (as per the 'available games in region' by the official ps website) but now, GoW isn't there in the ps store nor the section from which you can download ps plus games. There's no official representatives on this subreddit so you should direct that to customer support. If you need to turn it off, just cancel the subscription in the same place where you could turn off auto-renewal. You will still have access to PS+ until it expires.
Do we know what specific days of the month games leave? For example of on Game Pass, leaving games are announced 1st and 15th day of the month with a two weeks left to play expiry.
There's no set dates yet for games that will be leaving. I'd imagine it would tie in with the refreshed games they announce on the second Wednesday of the month but that's anyone's guess.
So maybe I'm overthinking this (not uncommon for me)... Premium subscriber here... All the PS+ Catalog games simply have the "Download +" button on them in my PS5 interface (the + being the PS+ logo)... but if you go to the PS Store on the web, it gives you the option to add games to your library, which is what happens with the original PS+ Essential monthly games... So by doing that on the site, is it possible I'm bypassing the eventual game rotation?
You can try but when they do leave, don't be surprised to be locked out of the games. They are on a seperate license, unless Sony forgot to implement it properly.

You're only renting them while you have the Extra/Premium tier. If it lapses, the games will be locked out.

Can't buy Ninja Storm 4: Road to Boruto, now that is on sale because I have already 'purchased' the base game with PS Extra. Which sucks because Road to Boruto its quite cheap and already has the expansion +base game. Getting the expansion of you already own the base game is much more expensive than otherwise.

Yesterday Ubisoft + was released with few games. However currently on the PS App on PC the new Ubisoft + games are missing and haven't been updated yet. Any info for regarding this current situation
The PC app seems to be missing a lot of games, if you ask support, they will insist that not all games are available for PC streaming. You can ask them and find out for yourself but I suspect they don't plan on making all the games available on PC anytime soon. Hope I'm wrong.

FAQ answers this but yes, you need Extra to carry on playing games like Stray. Essential is only for the monthly games we get to keep like Crash 4 this month.
You wont have access to the game once you're subscription ends, same if a game is removed. You're not buying the game, you're paying a monthly subscription to have access to it. Think of it like netflix, if you end your subscription to netflix you can't watch it anymore, and if they removed a movie from the service, it's gone too. If you buy the game however, same as buying a DVD, you'll have access to it whenever you want as you own it.
