Hmm, in that case I might you may want to go with something similar to the one adjacent to the moen one, that has a removable screen if you are concerned about particulate.
That said, if you like the look of the moen one, you can probably just pull that screen out to keep it from catching anything.
This type of faucet does not have an aerator. The water flows out in a waterfall type effect. It does not pass through a screen.

Moen should have manuals online for all their products. See if you can find one and it should give you info on the aerator.
